Please help me choose a country for outdoor activities: Sri Lanka or GOA. I like to swim in the sea, eat well, but I am very squeamish. Will I feel sick in GOA (sorry for being direct ;)))? How much cleaner is Sri Lanka? (I love animals --- cows, pigs and dogs do not scare, people scare). thanks for answers.

Sri Lanka has stunning deserted beaches. Very beautiful nature. A well-preserved diverse fauna. It is very interesting not just to relax on the beach, but to see the country. with a temple in which one of the main shrines of Buddhism is stored - the Tooth of the Buddha. Noisy crowded Colombo, by the way, there is an excellent zoo. Where they show a small show with elephants, not as bright and colorful as, for example, in Thailand, but still. What should be taken into account , in Sri Lanka, on m ... Farther...

We are traveling with a 10-year-old child on an autumn vacation in tangerine beach. After reading all the reviews, I began to think: is it worth it to go at all? Terribly afraid of crawling reptiles. People write about how snakes lie curled up in the grass. Someone tell me this is not true. What are the dangerous creatures in the ocean? I would be grateful for an answer

On the territory of hotels and towns, except for monkeys and geckos (small lizards, absolutely harmless), no one was seen. Sometimes monitor lizards ran through, but they themselves do not approach people and it is not necessary to climb to them. We saw snakes only when we went to the jungle on excursions, there are quite a lot of them, it’s better not to go there without a guide. In the ocean, we saw only beautiful fish on the reefs in Trincomal, well, turtles sometimes swam up to the beach. Ju ... Farther...
I would like to go to rest with my husband together in a place where we have not been yet. These are India and Sri Lanka. Maybe seasoned travelers will recommend a resort and a hotel? So that the sea is calm, the food is decent, so that there is where to go on excursions. Thank you all very much.

You know, I read reviews on different sites and made such conclusions. For food: breakfasts in hotels are poor, it is better to dine on the beaches in cafes. The kitchen is very spicy even "know spicy". On the beaches: dirty, with annoying merchants. Hotels are very mediocre, if you do not take into account the super expensive. You can’t see the Indian flavor, as the state is touristy, full of rasta lovers and those looking for nirvana. Sri Lanka is cleaner and more interesting in this regard, b ... Farther...
