My family and I rested in Thailand both in March, April, and in August, and in August - 4 times, three of them in Pattaya, once in Phuket. From my observations, I can say that in Pattaya the rainy season is a great time to relax. Yes, it is more humid, yes, it can rain (and not only at night), but all this is not a burden, there is a lot of sun anyway. Warm water. In Pattaya itself, of course, the sea is so-so, on the islands or on the military beach - clean and beautiful. No waves. But in Phuk ... Farther...

In general, we all work here in the hydrometeorological center - I think Amir1 will be our director. I am surprised at the patience of a person to answer questions like: “What is the weather like at 16:32 on August 17? People, have a conscience. So much has already been written about the weather that asking is simply bad manners! Farther...

Good question. My answer is that an umbrella won't help if you get caught in the rain in Thailand. Farther...
Tell me, please, if someone was vacationing in Pattaya in early October. Is it true that this is the rainiest month in this region? Do the rains interfere with rest or are they short-lived, how often do they go at all? If we want to not only go on excursions, but also swim and sunbathe, does it make sense to go at all or should we wait until November? Thanks for the help! :)

Hearing, but not resting. The hotel is said to be good. You know, I've been pecked here several times for my reviews of Pattaya, but I'd better repeat - the sea in Pattaya is dirty. The beach may be clean and well equipped, but the sea itself is muddy and full of rubbish. I also heard the opinion that there are places no worse than on the islands, however, with further communication it turned out that either people were not on the islands, but just think so, or they themselves sailed from Pattay ... April and May are the hottest months in Thailand, and in June - depending on where you want to go, if a beach holiday is on islands like Phuket, Koh Chang, then in June there can be big waves on the beaches, you can really not swim. If you want to relax in Pattaya and visit excursions, swim on the beaches of Koh Lan, then June is a very suitable month. Farther...

it’s not even about the rain, but about the ebb. During the day the sea will leave and become shallow, and at night the tide will rise. And the rains there are very short and bring relief in the heat. In my opinion, Thai loses its charm due to the huge number of tourists from Moscow (and they know how to behave "properly" everywhere. So try not to be like them, wherever you are). Now it's not clear whether this is Thai or Crimea. And this is a real problem. Farther...
On July 14 we want to go to Thailand. Before that, we rested in Turkey, Egypt, Israel. Now we decided to choose a new place. We heard that it is the rainy season, but they say that they are short. In general, they do not scare us much. We need expert advice to help with choosing a resort. We think where is better: Pattaya or Phuket. Karon Beach (Phuket) seems to have very strong waves now that it’s impossible to swim, Patong is dirty and crowded, Kata is also strong waves and low tides. In general, advise Phuket or Pattaya and which beach is better, where there are not very strong waves and low tides, where it is cleaner and not very crowded. Thank you in advance!!

Forget the rainy season Pattaya, Koh Samui or Chiang Mai. In each of these places to rest will be different. Pattaya gives you the opportunity to see different Thailand. Excursions - educational rest. Night Pattaya - fun and celebration. =) Farther...

DO NOT compare the islands with Pattaya! Especially with Phuket, where there are pronounced seasons. You should definitely go to Thailand at least when, but depending on where. To Pattaya, yes, all year round, if people are interested, but the question was about the island. To you, uv. natpos, if you want to go to the island - consider other islands, there are many of them, and they also combine Pattaya + island (Koh Chang, Koh Samui) - they are closer than Phuket (in the same sea as Pattaya), ...
