There is no sample for taste and color. Kinds?! Both have the Old Town - theatrical and commercial scenery. Come from time to time and immerse yourself in the "old seaside towns" - that's welcome. There is nowhere to "walk" there, these are small towns. Nessebar has a very pleasant park, Sozopol is more "mountainous". Visit both there and there, if you like excursions. These cities are not so far from each other, it is quite possible to get by with public transport. Farther...
We have repeatedly rested in Nessebar and always visit neighboring resorts. Were in Burgas, Ravda and, of course, in Sunny Beach. Advise where else you can go and what to see (not a purchased tour, but "savages"))

There were direct buses from Nessebar to Sozopol (at least in 2013). From the old city. It's like a bus station. And from Khan Krum street. I drove from there. The ticket price is approximately 12 leva. Took it back and forth. Departure in the morning. Back at 17 or 18 hours. Yes, the buses are almost on schedule. Deviation in a couple of minutes. Looking at the old town in Sozopol. There are also small museums like the house of the Thracian prince. Farther...

rod1onova. I'll take a look at this hotel. Every year we ourselves live at least a week in Nessebar, but in Orpheus, in the New Town, 15 minutes leisurely to the Old Town and 10 minutes to the South Beach (paid). My son, like you, goes to the Old City every day. But, then we go somewhere else, yet the beaches in Nessebar are not very good, there is nowhere to fall on a free apple, and on a paid one it is not very cheap, to put it mildly. Going to the beaches of the SB is also not the case, it is ... Farther...
We want to relax in Bulgaria, we go by car, we are looking for housing ourselves. We have decided on the place - Ravda, but doubts are tormenting, maybe it is better to look in Nessebar? Little has been written about Ravda. Never been to Bulgaria.

Better closer to Ravda. In Nessebar, sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are very expensive, and if you don’t have your own beach, then you will be charged 4 euros each time for entry (the cost of 1 sunbed). If you have not been to Bulgaria, then my advice is - do not start with Nessebar - you will be disappointed. If you want southern Bulgaria - go to Sozopol. It is similar to Nessebar, also an architectural monument of UNESCO, but cheaper and quieter, and the beaches are free if you have your o ... Farther...

I rested in Sozopol several times. The last time I was at the Arena Hotel, right above the central beach. Everything suited me, besides, the owner of the hotel, Mr. Hristov, oversees the central beach, and umbrellas and sun loungers were free for his guests. I don't know now. Please tell me where to go and what to see in Bulgaria except for Nessebar, Sozopol and excursions to Turkey? We want to travel on our own, without excursions. What do you advise?

There is a lot to watch - it depends on your age. From gay, travel, male and female striptease and sex tourism. Finishing Shipka, Rylsky Monastery, Rose Valley, Veliko Tarnovo, Kaliakra + Mussel Factory, fisherman, diving courses. Fly on a hang glider. Visit one of the seven Pan Parks (National Reserve), a huge zoo in Sofia. There are many places to ride. And I'm not talking about the Roman Amphitheater (completely preserved) and the ancient part near Plovdiv (Roman city of Trimontium). And DO ... Farther...

Good time of the day! In August I'm going on vacation to Bulgaria, Sozopol. I will be in Bulgaria for the first time. Please tell me what places in Sozopol and the nearest area you can and should visit, because in 10 days you can spend time not only on the beach. Thank you very much in advance!

Sozopol itself is very interesting. You can go along the Ropotamo River. But nothing special. Just take a boat ride. The brochures say that this is a nature reserve and there are many birds and animals. We saw a couple of seagulls and a turtle. There is an interesting museum. But there are more tourists than in Sozopol. In my opinion, Sozopol is more colorful. There is a good trip to Istanbul for 2 days. To Sofia and Plovdiv. But 10 days are not enough for all this. Farther...
