Hi. In that part of the island where you go to rest, it really is not the season. But until today, there was no rain for 2 weeks and it was very hot, today it rained all night, now it is dry, but cloudy. The ocean is very active, the waves are big. If you keep well on the waves, you will be able to jump on them, but it is a dangerous business. The hotels have a red flag on the shore, which means that swimming in the ocean is prohibited. Calm ocean, until October, near Trincomalle, Nilaveli, Pass ... Farther...

Gelenka_1 It happens in summer. The weather (hurricane with rain) is developing rapidly before our eyes. The feeling, at the same time, is, that's exactly the way you wrote: - "... it's terribly I can't!". But after about three hours, everything calms down, and excellent weather is also rapidly settling in. I have not been in a natural disaster, but I have been in such situations ... Farther...

As far as I know, the rainy season is not yet over there. And September is conditionally considered the rainiest along with May. Although it is probably clear that on September 30 the rain will not end. But we’re just from there, and nothing, we ourselves had a good rest and there are a lot of people, and it seems they are coming from all over the world, and even with children and babies! children, nothing scares. We just also doubted about Phuket, now it's the season on Koh Samui, they say. And ... Farther...

Well, or a spider, sklopendra or other unpleasant and biting creatures? And what to do if a snake bites? I read all sorts of horror stories, I saw enough photos of tourists in which a cobra is right on the porch of a bungalow or a cat-sized gecko is hanging right on the door. And the spider with the saucer actually killed :-( Is this really true? If I fly there, will I see all this and can they still bite me? I am terrified, I really want comforting answers that they say this is a case of one in a million :-)

I will say this: not a single self-respecting snake will ever crawl where tourists, hotel staff and cars are not calm and roam. That is, on the territory of Movenpick, the probability of meeting a snake is absolutely close to zero. If you meet - then a rag in the hands of some mischievous child. Scolopendra and a spider are also unlikely - the hotel has already taken care of this (especially, such as Movenpick). There are special services for treating the territory from insects - so that neither ... Farther...
