To transparent azure water without waves, beautiful landscapes. Well, so that there was some kind of civilization around, and not an open field.

Hello. For me the best beaches are between Rethymnon and Chania. They are almost wild and often nudist. But this is quite a distance. Need a wheelbarrow or a quad. Here is a hotel just in case. It has both pleasant pluses and annoying minuses. But suddenly - this is what you need? https://www.turpravda.com/gr/retimno/Alkyon_Hotel-h38696-r90495.html Farther...
I ask for advice on choosing a hotel in Greece. Initial: mid September / early October, first line, not across the road, not across the promenade, all, shady territory, beach - sand or small pebbles, smooth entry, no rocks, no pontoon, 4 * or 5 *, not miserable, but not luxury either. To please the old and the young. Animation, disco, noisy parties - "minus". The main issue is the region! I'm very "floating" here. I would be grateful for any opinions and advice.

Zakynthos and Thassos, like Sithonia, are green. They joke about Kefalonia that "all covered with greenery, absolutely all")) - in the sense of being greener even than Zakynthos, but I haven’t been, and it’s hard to imagine where it’s already greener. Farther...

for tatyna65 Pamukkale is great! Istanbul is wonderful! In Ephesus, too, not everyone could visit. Well done! I respect and support active tourists. But, nevertheless, I remain of my opinion that the possibilities of Turkey, in terms of the availability of interesting places, are inexhaustible. P.S. When I mentioned Troy, I absolutely did not mean the water park of the same name. We are talking about the real Troy, excavated by Schliemann Farther...

Commandaria sweet fortified wine "for an amateur", red dry wines are very decent, available in standard bottles, as a sampler you can buy a bottle of 187 ml. conveniently. In terms of service in stores, I liked Cyprus much more than Turkey - no one imposes anything, does not try to constantly talk with customers, everything is civilized, correct, they advise only when the buyer needs it. Shopping in Turkey annoys me with the importunity of sellers, sometimes on the verge of tactlessness. Farther...
Sorry, if my question is out of the general theme, but nevertheless, I dare to ask. A couple of times when I came out of the sea, I had a burning sensation in small areas of the skin. After a couple of hours, the burning sensation subsided, but a medium-sized red rash appeared. It was all gone in about a day. How much I didn’t peer into the water, I didn’t see jellyfish there (like they said that they didn’t exist in Middle-earth?), write off contact allergies from small pinches of local fish - the same is somehow too much. Everything would be trifles, but only after arriving home, I was again sprinkled in the same locations. Now I’m thinking - just wait until it passes, stomp to a dermatologist, or just someone encountered something similar in Middle-earth and knows what it could be?

There are a lot of jellyfish in the Mediterranean Sea! They may be so small that you can't even see them. It is strange that the houses were sprinkled again. Try to drink diazolin or another anti-allergic drug, if it does not help, you will have to go to a dermatologist. Z.Y. And by the way, algae are also not harmless. In one hotel in Kemer, a colony of such toxic algae spread on ropes that held the buoys. Half the hotel was walking around with burns, and the staff warned not to grab the buoys ... Farther...
