Dear 4uyka! Among the range of answers that you were given here, I will try to help you choose the most important: In Phuket, you cannot buy pearls in the market. It will (quite possibly) not be sea, but river, and the thickness of the enamel on the core (most pearls are grown by implanting the core into the shell of the mollusk, which the mollusk subsequently envelops with a special secret that forms the pearl) is very small. The average pearl should grow from 2 to 5 years, and pearls in the ... Farther...

Everything is possible. Don't dig the ground just hard. Orchids were taken out by themselves a dozen times. The wife loves them very much. And from the markets and just like that - torn off shoots. Edible pasiflora (aka passion fruit), different types of ferns, lianas, flowers.... Don't listen to "horror stories " about the prison, just don't advertise and don't collect a lot of land... Buy a cup of coconut flakes. Or just wrap it in a damp cloth. Everything else rolls easily. No one is interest ... Farther...

My family and I rested in Thailand both in March, April, and in August, and in August - 4 times, three of them in Pattaya, once in Phuket. From my observations, I can say that in Pattaya the rainy season is a great time to relax. Yes, it is more humid, yes, it can rain (and not only at night), but all this is not a burden, there is a lot of sun anyway. Warm water. In Pattaya itself, of course, the sea is so-so, on the islands or on the military beach - clean and beautiful. No waves. But in Phuk ... Farther...
Rested on about. Koh Chang. Tell me who knows what kind of creatures live in the Gulf of Siam. We noticed them in the evening, when the tide is out, you go to the water and weak paths are visible in the direction of the water. At the end of the path, if you touch the sand, you will come across round, disc-shaped creatures (mammals or mollusks) that look like shells / corals with fibers, i.e. they move towards the water. What's this? Very interesting.
