Natasha59 When I was in Cuba, "duty free" worked only at the airport. For foreigners inside the country, there were various foreign exchange shops of a diplomatic nature similar to "Birch" (foreign exchange and check shops: diplomatic, trade representative, through the GKS, Military). In addition, there was a system of tarhet of different levels. Now there are two currencies in Cuba - domestic (CUP, peso cubano), and the Cuban convertible peso (CUC) (Spanish Peso convertible), reduced to the dol ... Farther...

I go to dutik at least twice a month, so I tried it, I didn’t find anything surprising. When you buy a product with a price of 10 euros for a euro, you will pay exactly 10 euros, and not a cent more. If the same product is bought for rubles, its price in rubles will be determined not by multiplying these 10 euros by the exchange rate of the Central Bank, and not even by the euro selling rate by commercial banks, but always a little more, by 5 percent. Good afternoon. I flew from Antalya and forgot to look at the non-cash payment in Duty Free Antalya. I'm flying from Moscow to Istanbul, I don't really want to carry cash. Accordingly, the question arose whether it is possible to pay with a bank card in Duty Free stores? The same question is of interest about Sheremetyevo Airport, since I fly out of it - is it also possible to pay with a card? Well, another question - for those who flew domestic flights in Turkey from Istanbul Ataturk Airport ... Is there Duty Free for domestic flights / the airport is divided into international. and internal or not? I was in transit from Antalya once, but I didn’t understand :)

You can pay by card without any problems. Ataturk Airport has both international and domestic terminals (transition between them through a special tunnel). There is no duty free in the domestic terminal. Upon arrival at the international terminal, at the exit, on the first floor there is a semblance of Duty free (as in Antalya) - the range and prices leave much to be desired. But the "dutik" in the international terminal is one of the largest that I have ever seen. Farther...
