We were in Santorini for 2 weeks in 2018. There are many black sand beaches. The closest to the airport are Monolithos and Ex Gialos on one side, Perissa and Perivolos on the other. The beaches are all accessible and free. Perissa is the best: there is a good entry into the water and there is no wind. But keep in mind that it’s impossible to be there without slippers after 11 am: the sand is so hot that it’s impossible to walk even 2 meters, you walk like on coals.
