The staff are friendly, responsive.
I want to warn you, if something happened on vacation, first of all, you need to call the insurance company (the numbers are indicated in the insurance)
I express my gratitude to the staff of the hotel.
My daughter and I would love to come back!
All true comments.
If you adequately approach the issue of price and quality, then this villa is a completely acceptable option for a budget holiday. We bought a ticket 2 weeks before departure. 10 nights, HB - 375 euros per person, air from Kyiv.
The villa is more or less clean, it looks quite nice, although if you start to find fault, you can pay attention to the black mold, which is present here and there in the bathroom, and the crushed insects that have stuck to the walls and have already become part of the interior… us in the room every day, the bed was changed only once, towels were changed every 3-4 days.
The staff is friendly: they asked to bring an iron - they brought it, they asked to bring a clothes dryer - they brought it, although its presence is not expected in the rooms.
The restaurant, or rather the dining room, where they serve breakfast, looks nice. As for breakfast, it is better to purchase a tour without breakfast and resolve this issue on your own.
There is Wi-Fi at the reception of the villa. The room has a hairdryer, from the dishes - 3 glasses. Near the villa there are 2 shops, which can be considered large by the standards of Budva.
As for the disadvantages, in my opinion, the main disadvantage of the villa is its location. Still, this is not the most pleasant and close to the beach area of u200bu200bBudva. Light sleepers may be disturbed by the noise of the track and the music from the restaurant. This is not to say that this noise is too loud, but if the balcony is open, you can hear it. However, people with sound sleep need not be afraid of this noise. In addition, almost half of the road to the beach goes along the Jadran Way (a road with heavy traffic and a narrow pedestrian sidewalk). Walk to Slavyansky beach at a leisurely pace for 20-25 minutes, to Mogren beach - 40 minutes.
Also, we were unlucky with the balcony (number 11), which was VERY modest in size, triangular in shape and did not actually fence off from the neighbors.
I don’t know if I will ever want to relax at Villa Susanna again... most likely not, although in general, I repeat once again, from the point of view of a budget holiday, this is quite an acceptable option.
I would also like to say a few words about the tour operator NEWS TRAVEL and its partner, the host company Prometheus. I will never contact these subjects again, and I do not recommend it to others. In Ukraine, there are several quite worthy tour operators working with Montenegro, so it’s better to contact them, and avoid these.
As it turned out, Prometheus has no idea on which return flight their partner NEWS TRAVEL sells tickets to its tourists. Why NEWS TRAVEL hides this information from its business partner and does not transmit it in a centralized manner - one can only guess, as one can guess about the level of order that is going on in these offices....
Upon arrival, during the transfer to the villa, all tourists were given envelopes with traditional information about the country and a notification that the next day, at the villa reception at 14:00, a meeting with a Prometheus representative was to take place, to which you need to bring a printout of tickets for the return flight. However, the representative of Prometheus, assigned to Suzanne's villa, named Natasha, ignored this meeting. I, my companions and several other people waited for her near the reception for 20 minutes, but Natasha never showed up for the meeting. Four days later, when we left Budva for the whole day and returned around midnight, in our room we found a message from Natasha, in which she accused us of not showing up to meet her and demanded to call back. Of course, such a boorish and impudent message could not cause anything but rage, and we did not call her in the middle of the night. The next morning, at 6 am, we left for an excursion, and when we returned, we found a new message from Natasha in the room, this time with threats. The Prometheus representative threatened that we would not be provided with a transfer to the airport, as we refuse to tell her the flight number that should fly home. In general, after these threats, the first desire was to go to the Prometheus office and make a scandal there, but then they decided to simply close their eyes to this bestiality and not to wag their nerves. In a telephone conversation, when Natasha was asked why she did not come to the meeting, the girl began to shamelessly lie, carrying some kind of nonsense, that the question of her mental adequacy involuntarily arose. These doubts only intensified after what she did with the transfer. As it turned out, Natasha scheduled the transfer time from the villa to the airport to different people at different times. But, this time we were lucky, Natasha was not mistaken in setting the time for us, but other vacationers spent about forty minutes cursing the sweet couple NEWS TRAVEL and Prometheus, and twitching in horror where their bus had gone. By the way, when Natasha got a call asking where the bus was, she didn’t bother to tell the truth that the transfer time was incorrect, and lying that the bus was delayed for 5 minutes on the way, she hung up.
Large room 20 squares, double bed and single bed. refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, ONE chair, ONE glass, no kettle, NOT ALLOWED! , on the balcony there is a hundred-year-old plastic table and the same chairs, though two. It is better not to turn the cover over and not look inside out ! ! HORRIBLE (everything is stained), bed in a hole (sheet). It’s better to go into the bathroom with your nose closed, and stay in it for a short time. The drains haven’t been cleaned for probably 10 years, it just stinks, moreover, the tiles are covered in BLACK mold! The room was never cleaned!!!! ! , threw out the garbage and all the cleaning. To our complaints about the bathroom, they answered that we would clean it well, as you guessed there was no cleaning, they brought an AIR FRESHENSER and that's it. I do not recommend the hotel, look for a better one, read the reviews. !
Villa Susanna is a small hotel, you can live there, but not very pleasant. Of course, I went to Montenegro not to look at the dirty corners in the bathroom and the room, but it’s not very pleasant to relax in this. Cleaning - they take out the garbage (they don’t even put a trash bag), make the bed (if you are unlucky and you crushed a mosquito, then your bed will be covered on the other side), towels are small (it’s good that we took our own and used them), breakfast is sad and not satisfying, although edible (the most delicious - scrambled eggs, was 1 time, and so - eggs, ham, cheese, delicious bread).
The price for a villa is about 50 euros per day, as in the Crimea, and the service is the same - nothing, to put it simply : -)
There was always cold and hot water, there was no kettle, there was no hairdryer in the room, the balcony is large (but you can hear and see what the neighbors are doing in the room, they can also watch you), the air conditioner was not turned on (we don’t know how it works) .
We lived on the 2nd floor and the view was good, not in the wall of the neighboring villa.
Suzanne's location is a big plus! It stands a little further from the road and the cars do not drive under the windows, but a little further. It is located in the center of the town and you can easily walk everywhere.
In general, I cannot recommend this villa. . . I myself will not go there a second time and would not advise my friends. . .
About the country of Montenegro. . . not bad. . . but dirty in some places. . .
The sea is very clean and pleasant (except Slavskaya beaches, it is very muddy there), the island of St. Nicholas is great and clean, Mogren - there are a lot of sun loungers on the beach, they are very close... it turns out that you are lying next to a strange man or woman. . . very crowded. . . Excursion to the Bay of Kotor - good and beautiful (sometimes dirty), it's better to take pills from motion sickness with you. I was sick for the first time in my life, a whole day on the boat - it's good, but it's better to have pills so that I don't feel sick.
We went on a tour of the monasteries - we liked it, the tour is not tiring, sometimes extreme (serpentine in the mountains).
About food. We ate in OBALA - okay, we liked it, but most of all we liked it in KRAL (a small restaurant on the waterfront). KANGARO - there were one evening, I got normal food, but my boyfriend dined on a sour dish, alas...
Portion sizes did not surprise me. . . regular portions. . . yes - normal, but NOT HUGE. . . I ate a portion myself every time and successfully mastered it : -)
TOTAL - the impression of the rest, the villas and the countries are good, but this is NOT Europe... And it costs like Crimea, just the road is more expensive (flight 750 euros for 2, back and forth)
But this did not overshadow our trip, because. I really liked the country, wonderful nature, mountains, azure sea, and we were lucky with the weather.
We stayed at Villa Susanna. The villa really consists of two buildings, which are located with the letter "G". We lived in the second building (newer), almost all travel agencies on the websites have photos of the rooms of this particular building (I am attaching a photo of our room). Just when ordering a tour, specify which number, because. Each operator has purchased certain numbers, as I understand it. In the first building there are rooms with a bath, and in the second with a shower.
We enjoyed our stay at the villa. The staff is very friendly, the room is clean, the towels were changed three times in 6 days, the garbage was removed every day, we did not check the washing of the floors - it was clean. The room has a TV (several Russian and local channels, but there is no time to watch), a mini-fridge, air conditioning, a hairdryer - everything is in good order. The only thing missing was an electric kettle, we took tea with us. they have heard that tea in Montenegro is tasteless (what they call tea is not tea, but herbal tea). Near the villa there is a small Slavia supermarket, very convenient, they often bought juices, beer, fruits, dairy products there.
The only downside to the villa is the breakfast. The best thing for the main course was an omelette with sausage and three rings of cucumber. The main course always had very tasty bread (like homemade), jam, butter, coffee or tea. In general, it is better to take a tour without food at all, because. there are a lot of places to eat in Budva, and the portions are really big. For example, we dined at the Kangaroo restaurant, not far from our villa, a dish with cold cuts and a side dish (one for two) 7 euros + beer-juice for 2-3 euros.
On the embankment, I advise you to visit the restaurant "Obala", almost all cafe-restaurants have a menu in Russian-English. Here we took pizza (a small one is enough to eat, very satisfying). Another time they took a dish "fish plate" - assorted seafood (24 euros), very tasty (the menu says for two, but there really would be enough for three). Very good service, polite and attentive waiters (in Montenegro, waiters are only middle-aged and older men). We were very lucky with the waiter in Obala, the man is a master of his craft, very attentive, he will advise sensibly, tell everything in detail, and also talk, cheer up, I didn’t want to leave. We even got to know him (Velimir), and then we came to Obala only to see him.
The beaches are all free. There is a place to lie down on your towel, and some of the beaches are full of sunbeds with umbrellas (a set of 2 sunbeds + an umbrella on Mogren beach 9 euros (ordinary plastic ones) and 15 euros (wooden ones with soft mattresses), cheaper on the Slovenian beach). You can go to the beaches near Budva - Yaz, Trsteno, Ploche (10 minutes from Budva, fare 1.5-2 euros).
We were in Montenegro for the first time, we were very satisfied. I wanted to combine a beach holiday and sightseeing - to get information about the country, impressions of architecture, nature. We succeeded, as much as possible in 6 days. : )
The owner said that another tour operator would settle in the new building (we have a Prometheus tour - this is the operator that accepts our tourists). Like this!
I really liked the nature, a lot of greenery. The sea is magical, BIRCH!!!! ! Lots of beaches. I really liked the Yaz beach. Few people and the water is clear all day. Because on Slovyanska beach after 12:00 it is not realistic to go into the water. Dirty. Lots of grass and rubbish floating around. The food is delicious but very salty. But after 2 days you get used to it.
All people are very friendly! Very pleased.
