But my friend got a beautiful spacious room, with a normal closet on the third floor, room 305. This is block B. We paid the same!! ! My attempts to agree on relocation to the best room were unsuccessful, although my friend’s voucher also spelled block A like ours, but for some reason they were settled in block B, better in terms of conditions, and we were in a shed, but they paid the same, At the same time! At the reception, the girl’s name is Angela, I tell her why, give me a different number, a friend in the voucher ticket also has block A, like ours. She - there are no places, although tourists regularly leave. The guide who was supposed to help with my question did not help at all.
I do not recommend, definitely! And the restaurant is nearby, also from this Aquariusua, the food is so-so. The impudent bald waiter does not give all the change. Food and service leave a lot to be desired.
We booked an apartment in advance so that there were two rooms with a kitchen. As a result, we got number 311 - in fact, an apartment, with a large entrance hall, two bathrooms, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and a fully equipped large kitchen. Each room has air conditioning. True, the balcony is small, resting against the wall of the neighboring house. There, just hang the clothes to dry. In general, the interior is not "hotel", rather, very "home".
The service is quite consistent with the category of the hotel - towels were changed every day, bed linen every three days. But we must be prepared for the fact that they may forget to throw out the trash from all the baskets. Soaps, shampoos/gels were not provided. Although washing powder and dishwashing detergent were available.
The location of the hotel is very good. Not the first line, of course (do not believe the ads), but everything is very close. To supermarkets and the market - 2 minutes walk, to the edge of the surf - 5 minutes. You will go to the left - Slovenska Plazha, to the right - the Old Town and Mogren Beach. The bus station is also 5-7 minutes.
Keep in mind that tourist buses do not drive up to the hotel (there are very few such opportunities in Budva at all - the streets are very narrow). So from the "New Boulevard" to the hotel go 150 meters, a little uphill.
The hotel restaurant deserves special mention. We only took breakfast. Breakfasts (buffet) did not shine with variety, but they coped with their task - to feed the half-asleep inhabitants - perfectly. If you leave early for an excursion, they give you a “dry ration”. Before the trip, we planned to have dinner at various places in Budva. But almost every evening they returned to Aquarius. Tasty, high quality, relatively inexpensive... Attentive and friendly attitude to the client, fast service. Do not be stingy with a small “tip” and you will be rewarded a hundredfold ; -). For example, in a restaurant on the waterfront for the same order, you will pay 20% more interest and you will have to wait longer. And they will bring you tap water for 1.5 EUR.
Probably the only “minus” of the restaurant is the cats, which are almost rummaging around on the plates. But the visitors themselves are to blame - they feed them constantly, and that's the result.
The hotel and restaurant staff are mostly fluent in Russian, there will be no problems. Wi-Fi is available on the floors of the hotel and in the restaurant.
In short, on our next trip to Montenegro, the Aquarius hotel is definitely on the list of options.
Apart from the restaurant, the hotel has no "entertainment". The hotel rooms differ from each other in design and area. Some rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. All rooms without exception have a safe, TV, refrigerator - minibar, hair dryer, air conditioning; Wi-Fi is also said to be available. The spacious balconies have tables and chairs. Friendly staff, good location - in general, a normal "tourist class" hotel.
Separately, I want to note that the transfer bus does not drive up to the door of the hotel. Guests will have to stomp about a hundred meters from the stop to the door, and then still lift the luggage up the stairs leading to the reception.
I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
*****
Photos and impressions about the hotel were brought from the promotional info-tour around Montenegro in October 2013.
The hotel lived in the old part on the second floor, the view was on a courtyard with trees and neighboring villas, the smell from the restaurant came, but without the fumes and stench. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. The bed was changed after 3-4 days. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator worked properly. The toilet had only soap and a hair dryer, the window did not close. the pipes did not flow, only the water splashed onto the floor, the curtain did not save. In general, we are satisfied with the room - the main thing is to sleep, change clothes and wash. Meals: we only took breakfast, something delicious, something not. Cold pasta with sauce (a local dish apparently), cereal with milk, scrambled eggs, sausages, sausage, cheese, pate, khachapuri, muffins, coleslaw, cucumbers and tomatoes. From drinks - coffee, tea, milk, diluted juice (yuppies). Breakfast was from 7 am - very convenient. With the hotel staff practically did not communicate - only hello and goodbye.
The first (and last) time we went to the Slavic beach - there are a lot of people, we basically don’t need sunbeds, and there’s nowhere to lay a towel, everything is busy. The next day we went to Mogren 1, it's great there, most people come at 11 o'clock, and in the morning it's free, there is no loud music. in the evening there are a lot of people and the sea is dirty. The advantage of Montenegro is that in a small area there are a huge number of interesting and beautiful places, beaches. We traveled by bus to St. Stefan, to Milocer, to Bar (the old town in Bar is the most striking impression), by river taxi on about. St. Nikola. We sailed on the boat along the Bay of Kotor.
In general, I am very satisfied, I especially liked the local cuisine and the portion size cheered me up. As for the language - if you know how to behave culturally, don't be rude, smile at people, try to explain as best you can (especially if you don't know English)) then everyone understands everything in shops and cafes.
In order to avoid surprises and negativity, it is better to study the information about the country and the features of the holiday in advance, and most importantly, enjoy your vacation and get new impressions!
They refused to provide us with a new room, and they tried not to communicate with us at all during the entire subsequent stay in the "hotel".
The last 4 days we still managed to live in a more or less tolerable room on the second floor.
On the day of departure, we were asked to vacate the room by 12.00. I note that the bus came for us at 17.00. We were offered to change clothes after the beach before leaving in the utility room, where those. staff kept buckets, mops, etc. How do you like it? Here is the service!
I will also say that this "hotel" has good rooms, which are located in the new building. In the old one, coziness and comfort are out of the question.
If you are lucky enough to get into the new building, then you are lucky. But to be honest, I really do not recommend this "hotel".
