I'm afraid of snakes and creepers in general.
We are going to India for the first time. We were in countries where, due to the climate, there are creeping ones, but I suspect that in India there are more living creatures and especially snakes than in other countries. Tell me, who has been to India, have you seen snakes just on the territory of the hotel , the beach or just on the street. You may have heard about cases of snake attacks on tourists. It is very important for me to know this.

Such a cute lizard, the snakes have not seen or heard about them.

there are plenty of snakes in GOA, the fact that they were not seen does not mean that they do not exist. a lot of snakes in the sea. so swim smarter. sailors in the morning took out kites from the nets. well, in the shade under the trees / bushes, the snakes rest.
you will not rummage away from the roads, you will not see them)

Well, the question then sounded like this: "did you see snakes just on the territory of the hotel, on the beach or just on the street. Maybe you heard about cases of snake attacks on tourists." Again, I haven't seen or heard of it. I do not write that there are no snakes in India.

Anetka-gan, do these snakes attack people in the water?
аватар andreyvip
The probability of stumbling upon a snake in the water on the GOA near the shore is very difficult, in principle, there are not many living creatures in the GOA in the water, it is too noisy, and the sand is not very conducive to this. As such, being bitten is more for divers than just swimmers, snakes are more found at depth, which is why they get into the net. Well, in India, far from tourist places, even in the jungle, even in quiet lagoons, as in any tropical country, you need to be more careful. And in GOA, swim calmly, the main thing is not to swim far from the coast and do not wander around the jungle idle.

why should they attack people?))))) you have reviewed horror films))) usually people attack!
аватар logvinova6
"Horror movies have been revised", or your comments have been read - the effect is the same. There are no snakes in the area of hotels and the beach. They do not leave the jungle with the onset of the dry season. And there's just no one in the sea either. If the fishermen pulled something out of the nets, then they went far to the sea for this something.

Thank you very much, logvinova6! Now I'm calmer. Of course, I understand that there are snakes, but if they are not in the hotel and in the water, not directly in the bathing places, then you can live :) I love the red and the sea and I swim quite calmly in Sharm , although the moray eels saw other living creatures, but they did not swim up to anyone. I hope that the ocean will also please. The fact is that this trip is a gift from my husband to me on D.R. and I don't want to cancel it because of my phobias.
аватар Oleksii64
Yes, compared to Sharm, the sea is generally empty.

logvinova6 does it hurt your eyes?)))

Hi. Isabel! Our trip was a gift from my husband for my birthday)): We went on a 2-day excursion to Hampi and I met my anniversary at dawn on a mountain near a Hindu temple. Traveled with the travel agency "Asia and I". Everything was just great.
I myself adore the Red Sea, but this won me over like no other. Even the Adriatic, which we visited in May, did not attract us so much. In the beach area, there really is no living creatures. In the morning, farther out to sea, our friends saw dolphins several times. The notorious dirt, in my opinion, is 10 times more in Egypt. From the bag of medicines, I only needed a spasmalgon after the flight and an ointment with which I smeared the bites of something on the beach.
I was also worried - too conflicting opinions about the country - but before we could arrive, we had already decided that f-next year we would go again.
Good luck and good mood!!!!

There are snakes, both in the sea and in hotels. Maybe plop down from a branch into the pool, read the reviews. The sea is murky, you have to be careful.

Good afternoon! We returned from Goa on January 19th. We didn’t see snakes in the sea or on earth Thank God! We talked with the locals and they say that this winter is a dry period and the likelihood of meeting a snake on the ground is minimal, of course, if you don’t go deep into the jungle. In the sea, too, did not see any living creatures.
