A two-star hotel, but you can't say that, because the service is at the highest level. We had an early flight, so we had to wait until the room was ready. We have been traveling for several years and are familiar with the rules of eviction and settlement. But we were still settled before 14.00, which was certainly nice)) while we waited, we sat by the pool, ordered drinks) plus we managed to visit the beach)
The beach is amazing, by the way. Clean, without stones, there are sunbeds, just what we liked. Sunbeds were taken for a drink: that is, you had to order one drink and lie at least all day))))) it was so hot, so a glass of cold frapé was very timely)
So, I will continue about the hotel. We were settled earlier, as I said. The room is very clean, spacious) it was very nice to relax after a long flight in a comfortable and cozy room)
The reception is always Russian-speaking staff. Maybe not speaking, but understanding for sure) it helped us a lot, because we don’t know English))
Hearty breakfasts, there is always a choice! Chef five with a plus!
The town of Kallikratia, where we rested, is very small, so much the better. We are not fans of big cities, so we liked the town. We already knew where it was cheaper, where the quality was better. Of course, we rested for 2 whole weeks!
Rest has been wonderful. We are satisfied with the hotel and resort.

We took a ticket to Kalikratia, as we were told a quiet town and close to Thessaloniki about 35 km and 25 km to the airport. We stopped at the Alkionis 2+* hotel. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, the furniture is new, safe (1 euro per day), towels, mini-bar, air conditioning (worked properly), Internet access (free, caught throughout the territory), breakfast in Alkionis, but if you have HB or all inclusive, then you have to go to another Secret Paradise hotel, a small pool of 3x5 meters and 5 sunbeds, there is an elevator.

The rooms are cozy, comfortable, the furniture is new, safe (1 euro per day), towels, mini-bar, air conditioning (worked properly), Internet access (free, caught throughout the territory), breakfast in Alkionis, but if you have HB or all inclusive, then you have to go to another Secret Paradise hotel, a small pool of 3x5 meters and 5 sunbeds, there is an elevator. One of the minuses is that the walls are thin and the audibility is good, but with a child, of course, silence is needed, my son sleeps well without hind legs (he was so tired after swimming, he didn’t hear anything), the mattress on the bed was separate, very uncomfortable, hang and drying things was problematic there was no proper dryer. But do not forget that this is 2 + *, based on this, everything was just wonderful.
The staff works perfectly, everyone is very helpful, most of them speak Russian, there was no language barrier.
The beach is close to about 100 meters, it is difficult to find a toilet and changing rooms (they are, but few), the beach is urban and rarely cleaned, but the water is very good, clear, clean, azure. There were solid beach bars around, so there are no free sunbeds, only for a drink. But we bought a large mat, so there was no inconvenience.
In the city itself, it is quiet and calm, there are many taverns, shops, souvenir shops, in the Freedom bar in the evening there was a light animation with torches. The town itself is very small, two main streets are the main and the embankment, but on these streets you will find everything. On Tuesdays, from morning to afternoon, the market comes, they sell everything from fruits, vegetables and ending with things. We also had the experience of eating very tasty and fresh seafood in taverns, I saw early in the morning how they were fishing on the pier. The situation with the bank and the exchange office is difficult, it is difficult to exchange money and cards are not accepted everywhere, so arrive with cash and preferably euros.
We went on a couple of excursions to the water park and the caves of Petralona (my son really liked the train on which they got to the caves). Excursions are very good, no complaints, everything is operational. The hotel guide told everything, showed and even spent on excursions.
As a result, we had a great rest, everything was very pleasant, everyone was happy. Although the hotel was 2 + * rested as if in 4 *. Thank you all for a great vacation!! !

A good hotel to enjoy. The rooms have a very nice sea view. The beach is close. The rooms are very comfortable, simple and tasteful. A very good option for a budget holiday, for young people and for families with children.

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days. Company - two - me and my husband. The hotel staff must be given their due - tinder, wash... very friendly, regardless of the fact that they do not speak Russian well, they are ready to help at any time if one is needed. Towels were changed at the hotel every day, the bed was changed 2 times in 10 days (maybe it was prompted that they left a small chocolate bar "Alenka" on the bed, they never left the euro - the Greeks are a proud people and it's probably not worth humiliating them with handouts! ) Breakfasts are really monotonous, but very acceptable.

I don’t think that everyone is such a gourmet and eat pickles for breakfast. everything is fresh and very tasty. We went to Mykonos for dinner - well, this is beyond praise and what they wrote that whoever got up first - that and slippers - THIS IS A COMPLETE SCELL! My husband and I arrived after an excursion from Athens and came for dinner at 21.20 and what was our surprise when we were offered a choice of 2-3 hot meats, 3-4 salads... but I generally keep quiet about desserts!

There were few Russians in the hotel for our period - when they left, people from Russia came running. And so basically - Serbs, Slovaks... A lot of interesting things can be written about the hotel and funny things about its inhabitants... In a word - the rest was a success...
We went from Mezunidis on excursions. Tolerable organization. but pricey. . .
If someone chooses the Alkionis hotel as a place to stay - you will not regret it - the price corresponds to the quality of the rest... even the quality and the desire to provide it are higher!

For the first time we ventured to stay in a 2 * hotel, because the room immediately seemed tiny, but then we got used to it. They went out onto the balcony as needed to "hang" beach things on a chair or table (nothing is provided for drying! ). The staff is friendly, cleaning is daily, there were no thefts (the services of a safe near the reception = 2 euros per day were not used).

Girls from Mouzenidis in the hotel every day, all issues are resolved through them. I didn’t like the breakfasts: poor and not tasty (even scrambled eggs did not inspire confidence with their appearance and taste), but dinner in Mykonos 4 * saved the situation, pleasantly pleased with the quality of the dishes (but not the quantity) and if you are late for the start of dinner, delicacies and you won’t try good fruits: “whoever gets up first gets slippers. ” The sea is clean, pleasant, but only a paid area with sun loungers is cleaned on the beach (3 euros per person). The sea is not far away. In general, everything has its pluses and minuses, in general, not bad, but for ourselves we decided to choose hotels of at least 3 * for the future.
