Good thing we stayed for one night. Room 49, cleaned superficially, from the previous guests there was some water (not drunk), pills (at the table). The pillows are very hard, it is impossible to sleep. Breakfast is decent: a wide choice, but not everything is edible. There is a swimming pool and bowling for guests, but you have to sign up, which no one warns about.

Good interior, breakfast. The big disadvantage of the hotel is its staff, especially administrators.

Beautiful hotel with great design. We lived in a classic suite (spacious room, minus the lack of a balcony and a view from the window). A week before check-in, we booked a table in the hotel restaurant, but after coming to dinner we were told that there are no free tables and no booking. We have not received any apologies from the hotel.

A week before check-in, we booked a table in the hotel restaurant, but after coming to dinner we were told that there are no free tables and no booking. We have not received any apologies from the hotel. On the day of the birthday celebration, we were looking for another place to party. At the reception we asked to call a taxi, it was raining, we were not even offered an umbrella to get to the car. From the hotel give the opportunity to visit an hour of bowling, we signed up, but after the arrival of no staff. We will be forced to go to the reception again and ask to start the track (in response we heard wait, the guy connects the equipment at the wedding). The same situation with the pool. Breakfasts were good (omelet, sausages, pancakes, vegetables, chicken, coffee, cheesecake).

The hotel is excellent. Located 10 minutes walk to the fortress. Spacious rooms, high ceilings. The plumbing is good. The rooms are clean, no dust, no mold. Bar and towels are changed every day. The food is very varied, plentiful and tasty. Breakfast is served with saxophone and piano. Special thanks to the maid Maryana, I forgot the gold ring on the table in the room in the morning, I returned from the excursion in the evening, and it lies in place.

Meeting with guests. There was an impression that the guests were not really expected, and the girl at the reception, performing her duties, is doing a great favor. Suite. By the way, in "Cleopatra" in general, everything is "luxury": from the fountain and the wonderful summer terrace in the courtyard, ending with expensive curtains and bronze chandeliers in the rooms, and bouquets of fresh roses throughout the hotel. The dissonance includes very little: the name of the hotel, the redneck on trifles and the staff, frightening with their unsuitability for work. So, this is a deluxe room. The impression of the magnificent surroundings completely negates the deadly smell in the toilet, which they are in no hurry to fight, in fact, as well as with a clogged riser in the washbasin,
lack of glass in the sconces by the mirror and a cracked toilet seat. And holey towels and sheets are not that depressing, but, damn it, guys, you have monograms embroidered on all rags, so take the trouble to at least mend them! Cleaning is very conditional - they took out the garbage and thanks for that. Sauna-bath-bowling-billiards-pool-children's room. The list of services is impressive, isn't it? BUT! Sauna-baths are available to mere mortals (including those in a suite) exclusively for money, as are bowling billiards that have fallen under the dust (there was no influx of people there), and the pool is at your disposal, sorry, only for an hour. Therefore, in the so-called wellness center, afterlife silence and tranquility reign. Children's room. Initially, the idea was good and the size of the room, and its content is quite consistent with the ideas about the children's room,
however, it is worth sniffing (literally) and the menacing smell of dampness makes you immediately retreat from this abandoned (this is the impression that the child leaves) the kingdom of the fungus. And finally the most interesting - the restaurant / dining room. The refectory pleasantly surprises with its decoration: tablecloths and table setting, Venetian plaster on the walls and painted ceilings with chandeliers - all this sets you up for a decent breakfast with a glass of champagne and fresh fruit. However! Of course, we are not talking about any fresh (or at least dried fruits), and even more so about champagne. We are talking about the so-called "buffet" table, which initially involves an extensive selection of dishes, and which, alas, could only be dreamed of. The table was sparse. Moreover, even those dishes that the guests who came to the beginning of breakfast ate were categorically not updated. That is literally "who did not have time, he was late. "
Judging by the bewilderment on their faces, the waiters heard about the existence of jam / honey for cottage cheese from me for the first time, and to the question: "is it possible to bring a cottage cheese casserole (which ended just in front of my nose)"? I was very bluntly told that it is not and will not be! Oops. . . sorry to bother you, gentlemen, rude and clumsy waiters. By the way, we had to clean the table at which we had breakfast ourselves (! ), because the waiters did not react to direct requests to remove the dishes, or to their actual pile on our table, even when we were the only guests in the restaurant. And the staff did not respond to the request to put the highchair in order, which is in a very unusable (frankly dirty) condition! And in the end the most "thrash". Every day we observed the following picture: 15-20 minutes before the end of breakfast, in front of an astonished and unsuspecting public,
peacefully chewing their already meager meal, a man rushed into the dining room 6 strong guys, accompanying their appearance with cackle and clatter, and with their elbows freeing their way to the coveted dish, scooped up food with their hands (oh, gods! ), ignoring the devices intended for this, and disappeared somewhere in the kitchen area... a silent scene... the most interesting thing is that the waiters, instead of fulfilling their direct duties and serving hotel guests, also indulged in all serious and shamelessly rowed the leftovers of food! And all this rudeness took place (ATTENTION! ) in the presence of hotel guests! So, DEAR HOTEL OWNERS, pay attention to the staff, especially the one that serves the restaurant / dining room. Such defiant behavior towards guests is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Conclusion: the hotel "Cleopatra", which attracts guests of the city with its luxury, in the end leaves an unpleasant impression. It's a shame yes!
Maybe "Cleopatra" just ended up in the wrong hands? . .
Well, it looks like it's time for the "Auditor" to pay a visit to the "Cleopatra" again.

Now a few downsides:
1) The carpet was far from the first freshness, all in some kind of dirty spots.
2) Before you set up a shower, you stand for 5 minutes either under ice water, or under very hot water.
3) Of the drinks in the room, there are only two bottles of water, but they bring it every day and don’t take money for it.
4) A lamp burned out in the corridor, a man came in and looked and clattered, after I said that, in principle, we were moving out tomorrow, he didn’t come back . . maybe I made it clear that it would go like that... hmm...

Best hotel in town? ! Are you seriously?
+Location in the heart of the Old Town
- Suite room on the 7th floor, the elevator goes only to the 6th;
Chairs in the room with broken legs. At night, a large part of the head of the bed fell on my head. The receptionist is not responsive.
Soundproofing is another story. Next to the room is a mother of many children with children. It seemed that we decided to relax in the midst of a children's matinee.
Room cleaning is disgusting (impressions that the mirrors were wiped with a washcloth for washing dishes, they didn’t put soap, but they were pleased with 5 bottles of shampoo;
Breakfasts are meager and monotonous, the restaurant cooks deliciously, but in the evening there are no half of the dishes on the menu, the staff is clumsy.

- Internet is bad, TV is worse than that of a grandmother in the village - there are no usual Ukrainian channels and it is impossible to watch football, hot water sometimes disappears, cleaning is C grade (they make the bed every other time, they never do wet cleaning) + Friendly staff, location, large rooms I go here for work for the second month in a row, I just can’t get used to the cons.

Looks like a 5* hotel. The staff is unobtrusive. The breakfasts are delicious. No comments, only good emotions. Why not perfect? Bowling alleys and swimming pools could not be used, every day there are celebrations, birthdays . . a lot of people who do not live in the hotel. Very decent hotel, fresh flowers everywhere, everything is in the room.

But it was quite cool, the heating was not turned on, the air conditioner helped us with that. In the evening we tasted delicious coffee by the mini fountain near the hotel yard. Breakfast was buffet style, delicious and varied. We liked the hotel, it is probably one of the best in the city
