The hotel has a good area. There is a place to take a walk before eating. But far from the center.
The food in Poirot is disgusting, we tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everyone was dissatisfied. Since the organization of meals is very lame, the food is oversalted and looks completely unappetizing.
Disturbance
In the very center of the city, right in its heart, the pizzeria "New-York Street Pizza" (New-York Street Pizza) has been flourishing for several years (Address: Kamenetz-Podolsky, Dominikanskaya St. , 2-b - as anti-advertising) . The peculiarity of this institution is not in the democratic nature of its prices and the abundance of dishes, but in the services of waiters and the toilet. The motto is impudence, rudeness and permissiveness. Throwing a plate of food is within the bounds of permissibility. But, if you ordered a beer, be prepared for the fact that you may be waiting for a "surprise" - in the form of a closed toilet. I note that beer costs in this, probably, once popular institution, not 5 hryvnias or even 10, but more expensive, and for that kind of money you want to get proper service. But that's not all....if, according to the same waiters, you have VIP status, then you will be taken to some kind of secret toilet. How to get this status, think in advance, I say right away, an order for 250 hryvnia does not give this status, and I won’t tell you on what principles it is distributed, simply because I don’t know. As you understand from my story, I did not become a VIP in this institution.
Disappointment
This is not my first time in Kamenets…. There is charm in this city, a spirit of romance and a desire to return and see something new, something that last time escaped attention. I stay, again according to tradition, in a rather calm hotel "Gala-hotel" (Lesi Ukrainky St. , 84 - on the rights of anti-advertising). But calm and good, as I advised friends, this hotel was a year ago. Now, after this hotel has become on its feet and has taken a strong place in the hotel business of the city, it has changed. When booking a Suite room, be prepared for broken washbasins, extraneous hair in the bathroom, and the fact that for your own money you will have to take out the trash yourself. Noise isolation in the new building, in my opinion, is absent at all. Although, really, why take out the trash and clean the room if you rented it for two nights, really, why, the administration thinks ? ! Our people are calm, kind, they will definitely not say anything and be indignant, but, excuse me, dear hotel administration, “everything and everything is not hawala”.
Hope
But there is something in this city that has not changed - a quiet, small cafe "Korsar" (Address Tatarska street, 17 - as an advertisement). This is a wonderful place on one of the streets of the old city, where the food is tasty and very inexpensive, and the toilet, although small, but working. How I want to go back and catch myself thinking... everything is as usual, it has become even better)))
God bless you!

02.05. 2010 After an eight-hour excursion, we came to the Poirot restaurant for dinner. We made an order on the advice of the waiter Oksana (Trout with scallops and Veal with cherries). Within an hour, they forgot about us a little, although a third of the hall was occupied! ? when they finally brought the fish, it turned out that the scallops were not available. Moreover, the waiter did not warn us until we asked the question: "Where are the scallops? " (why was this particular dish recommended, and why do you have to pay full price for it? ). Veal waited after another 30 minutes. When asked to call the administrator, we were told that he would be there tomorrow. The evening was hopelessly ruined, as was the general impression of the restaurant, although the mood before the visit was excellent.
In general, the restaurant is good, the food is delicious, but the staff needs to be adjusted. And also the waiters should know what dishes the kitchen is able to cook in full according to the menu.
Thank you for the high quality service. We really liked the perfect cleanliness in the rooms (especially the floor), the absence of any saws on the furniture. Everything is designed for people. Very nice design, spacious. Receptionist Olena was very nice and professional in her questions. Economy class rooms are very good, the only wish is that in the bathroom in addition to the iron towel rail should be nailed to the wall 2 hooks, so it would be more convenient.
Very nicely decorated. Porch - green grass and along the fence of the Christmas tree. Thanks to the designers for the feeling of space.
I will recommend your hotel to everyone.
Sincerely, Anna, Kyiv
P. S. The style is very similar to an attempt by the management of the hotel itself to somehow rehabilitate itself in the eyes of readers. . .
