Winter holidays in Rakhiv
We have been going to the Carpathians for the third year already, but only in summer! And now we decided to go there in the winter! We chose according to the following criteria: I ski, my husband is another alternative to skiing. We chose Rakhiv based on reviews. . . What can I say, very, very disappointed! Firstly, Rakhiv is positioned on the internet as a ski resort for beginner skiers, which they fell for. The result upon arrival: the mountain is so steep that it’s definitely impossible to study on it (this is even the locals say) and the lift has not been working for 2 years for sure !!! ! It turns out that there has been no snow in Rakhiv since 2002. What is characteristic, when the hotel was booked, "Smerekova Khata" clarified whether it was far to the ski lift, the owner did not say a word about this fact. We went skiing to the nearby Yasinya, where they took a great instructor and immediately put me on skis. The only thing I liked in Rakhiv is the cafe "Veranda"!! ! And they have a "Burkut" park there, where you can climb uphill, into the forest and drive on a sled. We wanted to go on excursions - 500 gr per person !!!! ! On a sleigh 300g! ! per person (there are three of us) I say: “I will find another family, will it be cheaper? ” they answer no))))) The family went for the whole day, it worked out With all the weekend for three 2700g! Well, in my opinion this is too much. For comparison, we were in Yaremche (I love this place) there are 250 any excursion !!! ! And they gave us discounts for children! In general, there is definitely nothing to do in Rakhiv in the winter, in the summer, well, I don’t know, there is no nature there About which they write. Yaremcha, Mteulichin, Gates, Kotov - this is nature. And Rakhiv is a regional center with five-story buildings, from which we wanted to escape somewhere "in the Christmas tree" did not happen, thanks to the reviews ((((
