A wonderful place for a pleasant vacation, which combines all the charm of a mountain vacation and excellent service.
The place of rest is located in a cozy area away from the city hustle and bustle, among the Carpathian Mountains at the Modryna Hotel.
Modryna Hotel is located on a mountainside near a mineral spring. The hotel has an outdoor pool. Family rooms for 3 people are located near the restaurant. These are great spacious rooms, one with a view of the forest and the other with access to the pool with restaurant. Double rooms are located near the pool with a small balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains. The hotel restaurant works by individual order. The choice of dishes is very large and depends on taste and wallet. To be honest, the host surprised me with game dishes!
For outdoor activities, there are must-see local attractions:
The Kobyletsky Huk waterfall is located an hour's walk from the hotel, in the forest, among spruce trees. Nearby is the estate "By the waterfall" (the waterfall exists only in the spring or after heavy rain).
Hora Kobyla. This is a great all day walk. The ascent takes 5 hours (smooth). First, along the road along "Vasyl's Hut", behind which there is another mineral spring (near the gazebo). There are streams with drinking water on the way to the mountain. The descent is steep (2 h. 30 min. ) along the path that ends almost near the "Modryna" hotel (200 m). Landmark - a metal trailer of foresters. Actually, you can go up in the same way, but then the ascent will be very steep and difficult.
Mount Opresha: a wonderful place that overlooks the Black Mountain range from Mount Tempa to Mount Pip Ivan Marmarosky. The start of the route is from the forestry checkpoint. Further 12 km (30 min.
by car) to the beginning of the ascent to the polony, then another 5 km. to the top of the mountain (4 h. 30 min. ). And 3 hours to go down the same path. The route to the mountain consists of three parts: the first along the path of the foresters (we drove up by car with the foresters), the second along an overgrown path with a steep climb to the beginning of the valley. The third most wonderful in polony. At the beginning of the meadow (200 meters from the shepherds) there is a spring.
