Well, if the Carpathians are, then I would suggest Voevodyno. It's pricey, but great! Make an order in advance for a house with a fireplace and celebrate the New Year in an unforgettable way. Voevodyno is a whole tourist complex with a skating rink, horses for riding, with two reservoirs in which tourists catch trout for themselves and they will cook it for you right there, in the restaurant. We celebrated the New Year in Svalyava. It was ok, but it was boring. And in Voevodino we were taken on an excursion. And I decided for myself: if we meet NG in the Carpathians, then only there! I can also recommend the hotel "Kamenka" in the village of Synevyr, Transcarpathian region, I rested there in June. This is just the same case when a complete separation from civilization. The hotel is modern, new, with all the amenities, an excellent restaurant, located right on the pass, the clouds are below the hotel :))), There is a sauna, near the ski lift. The cost of a standard double room is now from 350 UAH. per day with breakfast, what will happen in winter is unknown.

As for "getting dreary" - I laughed for a long time. Normal track and no problems. Hotel Pigi is an average hotel (here is my review). Infrastructure - in the sense of going out for a walk - this is not the Yalta embankment, you need to choose a hotel with all the conditions - a restaurant, a bar, an exercise machine, a sauna. Do not forget that you come to the village and the infrastructure is appropriate. The most important thing for me, for example, is away from the highway and closer to nature, and drinking coffee when it snows to the waist is better where you live. A very cool restaurant by the way in Vorokhta. I will never go to Bukovel (see my review about "Zakhid"), only Mykulychin, Tatariv, Vorokhta. By the way, at the NG corporate party I will choose between Koruna and Lavender Country Club. Maybe Ten in Vorokhta.
