Dragobrat is a great place for both beginners and professionals. The choice of hotels there is very large, it all depends on financial capabilities and requirements for the level of service. There are many slopes, lifts too - there are plenty to choose from, and not as expensive and crowded as in Bukovel. From personal preferences - the hotel "Bolshaya Medveditsa": close to all ski lifts, comfortable, clean, tasty, friendly staff.

If you are beginners, then it makes no sense for you to overpay for Bukovel or Dragobrat. In addition, due to the peculiar location, getting to Dragobrat, you in any case lose a day of skiing, even if you travel by night train.
You can choose Migovo, the resort is located closer, the hill is small, but well-groomed, and quite sufficient for beginners. The prices are very democratic.

Close to Bukovel Yablunitsa. What is called "why pay more". And the hill is not big, and there are places to see the surroundings, and there are cafes. As well as the rental of skis, equipment (we didn’t even drag jackets and pants with us, we rented everything). A new youth hotel opened there. Cheap and angry.

I don't know people who, having once tried their hand at skiing in Migovo, no longer go to ski resorts.
Also, it's an amazing place. Everyone who has been there once, even being an experienced skier, returns again - at least for a couple of days - to Migovo.

Hundreds of tourists travel daily on the road to Dragobrat. Yes, the sensations are extreme, but this is a great start to the holiday. And the place itself is magical. If you are not by car, and you are not worried about the long road, go to Dragobrat.

Dragobrat is not for beginners!!!!!!!!!! Izki or Migovo are advised to you. In general, there are a lot of resorts in the Carpathians, you can choose. I also heard about the "Zakhar Berkut". There is one near Uzhgorod. Where you don't have to go is Bukovel and Dragobrat.

Dragobrat for beginners, IMHO, is not very suitable. If you are newbies and traveling with a group of friends, then yes. If you yourself and the first time in the mountains in general, it is better not to go there. You will still have time for Drag. It seems to me that for study both Migovo is normal, and Pylypets, and Zakhar Berkut in Slavske (not Trostyan, namely Zakhar Berkut), and Izky, and a resort in Plavia (right on the Kyiv-Chop highway). From Kyiv, I like those that are right along the railway - Slavske and Pylypets / Podobovets / 10-15 km from Volovets /. If you like to ride (and not everyone becomes ski / board lovers), then Drag, and Buk, and foreign countries)))
