A week ago we returned from the "Carpathian meadows". Stayed there for the 3rd time. The place is really good, and especially for families with small children. Very calm and secluded. The staff literally takes care of the guests. Lots of creative circles. Fishing, alas... The lake is small, trout is imported in small batches. By the time we arrived, a flock was swimming. Well fished in the beginning. A week later, the lake was empty. Pauses between trout deliveries. In Lake Khashchavan (Lake Vita), trout is bred, because it is there constantly and in large quantities. Well, in terms of picturesqueness, the Mezhigorsky district is more beautiful. But in the "Carpathian meadows" - a stable, instructors and the possibility of daily horse rides with riding lessons. I would place the accents (advantages) of hotels like this:

I forgot to add - both hotels are outside the boundaries of settlements, there are no shops nearby, but the prices in restaurants are quite reasonable. It seems that companies are not allowed to go to picnics in Polonina, but they practice for a fee on Lake Vita
