Good evening. I am planning a trip to Chernivtsi on April 5th. Having not much time (2 days - April 3 and 4) I would like to make a mini tour of the Carpathians. Maybe someone will advise where and what you could see during these 2 days, and not least where to spend the night for one or two nights. Preferably not a hotel. Youth group.

From Chernivtsi it is convenient to travel to Kamenetz-Podolsky (a large selection of accommodation options) and Khotyn. As for the Carpathians, try to visit Yaremche, Vorokhta, but this is no longer a close trip.

I will support Kamyanets and Khotyn - interesting! The worst fortresses of Ukraine! But this, of course, is not the Carpathians.
But in the Carpathians I will advise something else!
The closest mountains to Chernivtsi are the Chivchyna and Hryniava ridges. If you google these words, you will see what kinds there are. These mountains are not very high, but it's very nice.
April is not the best time for the mountains. The mud is unbearable + now the winter is dragging on - there will be snow + dirt. Well, or the flood will begin))) Dry and sunny at the same time will not be!
If you decide it is Kosiv (80 km from Chernivtsi). There and live a lot of hotels and transport (any regular) but the roads are very bad and the ride is slow + all the villages along the rivers and have to walk a lot anyway). Not every village has a normal road and not every driver will go to some villages.
It doesn't make much sense to go to Yaremche!
And so google villages near Kosovo: Sheshory, Kryvorivnya, Putyla, Beregomet.
