Nikolaevka is a small, dirty village, which is far from civilization, it is difficult to leave from there, there are buses, but passing from Yevpatoriya to Sevastopol, there are no tickets for them a week in advance, so you can get out of there only by taxi, which is not at all cheap. Drive to Sevastopol min. 30, costs 1000-1200 rubles, you'll be lucky if you get a full car. In good weather, the children had a difficult choice - entertainment or the sea. But what has always won is the pool! Outdoor children's pools with warm water, which have water slides. Of course the kids can't resist. For adults there is a large swimming pool, 50 m long with lanes. The beach is just a fairy tale - very close to the buildings, sand with pebbles, the entrance is clean, the sea was warm. There are awnings on the beach. We took the room specially with air conditioning - building number 3 sleep by the sea, the sea splashed from us at 30m, it's a fairy tale to fall asleep to the sound of the surf. The room can be entered from the street and has a furnished veranda where you can sit in the evening. I would like to wish to introduce a buffet line in terms of nutrition, the children are used to it in Turkey and everyone was surprised that waiters bring food in Radiant. There are no complaints about the quality of food, you could choose from two dishes. Soups are very tasty, a lot of meat dishes. If you want something beyond the program, you can buy at the beach bar. I will also add that the territory and the beach are closed areas, no one else is allowed there! The children liked the boarding house and I would not refuse to go again if I have time to rest. This is a great place for a family holiday on the sea, it may well give odds to Turkish hotels. Despite the fact that prices for trips to the Crimea have increased, we will most likely choose Radiant if we are going on vacation in the summer, Laspi promises discounts!

The overall impression is good. Boarding house for a relaxing family holiday, many children. It is not noisy at night, you can sleep. They feed, though in a simple way, but satisfying and do not save on meat. There are no mosquitoes. The pool is large and deep. The sea is nearby. There are exercise machines, table tennis, children's disco/animators/cartoons in the evening. The territory is well-groomed, a lot of greenery and flowers - very nice. Immense respect for gardeners. At the reception adequate talking people - a rarity for the Crimea. These are pluses.
And now the cons.
Cerberus supervisors in the pool - God forbid you want to give the child an apple or a peach by the pool - immediately run away shouting that you can’t eat / drink / live by the pool. The same situation with the slides - they constantly climb to the children, then you can’t move head first, then you can’t move out in twos, then they shout loudly, then they run fast... At lunchtime, everyone is kicked out of the pool - it closes for a break, opens late in the morning, closes early in the evening . A shallow pool with a waterfall and massage jets - only for children, if you want to lie in it calmly - they immediately run screaming, kicking you out, although there is no one there at all at that time and you don’t bother anyone. It’s not very pleasant, it constantly strains, interferes with rest, I want to shoot these Cerberus. Floats-paths in the large pool interfere with swimming. Vacationers are not athletes, they do not need paths, they need a pool. Too much chlorine in the water.
The beach by the sea - literally a couple of meters and water, pebbles - you can't walk with your bare feet. The depth is very sharp, 2-3 meters from the shore and there is no bottom. The sea is constantly stormy, the water in the sea is cold, swimming between the breakwaters is not pleasant. Half the time due to the waves the sea beach was closed.
The dining room is hot, the salt/sugar bowls are constantly empty, the waiters are struggling because of the number of people. There is a small selection in drinks and dishes (2-3 drinks to choose from / 2 first / second courses to choose from). The food is good, a lot of meat (it's impossible to eat everything), but quite simple and not always tasty. They don't know how to cook potatoes and pasta. The staff in the dining room is honest - I forgot my bag with money and mobile (I didn’t even notice) - after 2 hours they called, returned it, not a penny was lost.
The room is comfortable, medium in size, not a kennel - there is where to stand / walk. Toilet / shower in the room, normal. Water is available all the time. Towels are provided upon arrival, but are changed for a fee. The same applies to bedding. The air conditioner works, there is a remote control. But there are no sockets, the refrigerator / TV is connected and that's it, you need to charge your phone or connect a laptop - turn off the TV. It is imperative to have a tee with you, without it in any way. The air conditioner was hung right above the bed, whoever slept under the air conditioner will understand me - this is horror. Or hot, or windy.
WiFi is both there and not at the same time. There is a signal, although weak, but it connects every other time, and the Internet is so slow that it’s hard to even browse sites. Skype/video is out of the question. If it was possible to receive/send mail - lucky.

Unlike them, in the neighboring "Solnechny" animators work rather in the Show mode, they are all on stage, children and adults in the hall. This is a plus for the animators of Radiant.
Movies are shown in the evenings 3 times a week. Everything on the territory is well-groomed, trimmed, very neat. The pools are washed every day (early in the morning). Lots of gazebos, shady bushes, etc. The rooms are nice, no harsh, everything is fine. In general, everything is very cool.
There were two downsides:
1. The general WiFi was very slow, so even looking at websites is a whole problem. And all these people go and look at their devices with the hope that now you will see something and no, and no....I had to sit on roaming 2G / 2.5G, which is expensive.
2. To get a kettle in the room in the evening, I had to quarrel, they kindly did not give it. At first, the concierges gave almost all the kettles for permanent use to some rooms, and as a result, there were two kettles left for all the others and there was a shortage. Only by swearing could they force them to take away the rest of the teapots, and everyone began to have enough.

The boarding house is a piece of paradise created by human hands. A large territory, a modern park, excellent paths, alleys, corners, gazebos, benches, fountains - everything is done with great taste, maintained in perfect condition. The flowers are varied, bright, lush. Day and night, flower beds, shrubs, lawns are plentifully watered. Thousands of cubic meters of water are spent for these purposes. The dining room is clean, bright, comfortable, the waiters work silently. Numerous attendants work discreetly so as not to interfere with rest. The beach is maintained in excellent sanitary condition. The rooms are cozy, modern, with new plumbing, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, balcony. We lived in room 201 of building 2. The maid Nadezhda Ivanovna Kotelevich is not a young woman, but she is very energetic and conscientious. She is attentive, helpful, a good conversationalist. We recommend everyone to stay in this guesthouse.

We rested in Radiant from September 3 to September 13. I am personally delighted. It really is a micro-city within a city. Nikolaevka itself is surrounded by steppes, but the territory of this boarding house is a huge and painstaking work. A lot of greenery, trees, flowers - this is a complete beauty! Gardeners make various beautiful compositions of flowers, every day they work tirelessly, caring for the territory of the boarding house. I personally liked everything! we were in the second building. Reading past reviews, they said that it was noisy from the music in the rooms. We were in the farthest wing, and even more so, there are double-glazed windows and air conditioners everywhere, so we just closed the windows and sometimes turned on the air conditioner, and it was gorgeous. The maids are very responsive, they always say hello a hundred times, if they bring something. I went with my 3-year-old daughter, she wrote on a sheet at night, everything was changed for us and even no complaints or sidelong glances, but on the contrary, they neighed with us. One more thing, we were in a room in four (me, my husband, my mother and my daughter), there are three single beds + a folding bed in the room. My husband and I moved the beds, and moved the cot where our daughter slept, so that we had an airfield. I didn’t like the mattress on the folding bed, apparently it had been assembled for a long time and the mattress seemed to be deformed, so the maid brought us a full-fledged mattress, as we put it on a folding bed, and my daughter slept like a princess. A wonderful composition "Ukrainian village", two small decorative houses, a "well", a pond, a mill (like a fountain), in the evening it is very beautifully illuminated and pleases the eye. went to the territory of the Scythian. . . and after the radiant - it's just a hole. the cottages are all on top of each other. stand at close range, no place to walk. and cars drive around, so you can’t just let a child run around. we generally wanted to go to the Cruise, but having been there, I didn’t really like it. the interior and prices are normal, and if you relax without children, then in principle it is normal, but there is no beach. in principle, it’s normal, but I repeat, after the radiant one, where there is a huge territory, a huge swimming pool (6 lanes 50 meters long), and most importantly YOUR BEACH - simply cannot be compared with Skif's cottages. We traveled from Yalta to Yevpatoriya, we didn’t find anything better in all respects radiant. If you go to the Crimea again, then only to the radiant one.

We rested in the "radiant" at the height of the season. There were two families in the suite (for all 4 children of different ages). In general, I liked everything, it’s very good for Crimea, we would like to return here.
