On Friday afternoon, we decided to go for the weekend to relax with my family (my husband and I, a child of 9 years and a baby of 7 months).
We are from Odessa, so we chose from the hotels of Zatoka and Karolino-Bugaz.
The search criterion was a hotel with a swimming pool and a decent kitchen, new rooms. I did not want to spend a mini vacation in an old boarding house.
Having called all the top hotels with a pool, on the bookinga website, I did not find anything free to check in on the day and for the weekend.
I decided to search using the word of mouth method, calling my friends with the question of who was where, accidentally stumbled upon the Grand Hotel. By calling the reception, they found a room for us, and in the evening we arrived at the hotel.
By the way, I read the reviews after the booking, and to be honest, they upset me a little and alerted me. But there is nothing to do.

Upon arrival, we were met at the central parking lot, sent to the second one, which is located behind the hotel.

At the reception, the girl Daria (if I remember correctly) very politely explained the rules of the hotel, and took us to the New Building. By the way, construction is underway on the territory of the hotel (this is not in the photo), and the view of these gray buildings was a bit disappointing. But during the rest, neither noise, nor dust, nor any inconvenience, except for aesthetic ones, the construction site did not bring. So it's not critical.
They settled us in a new building, on the 4th floor. It is not convenient with a baby, it may be possible to go up and down, so check the splicing when booking. But we are athletes) it did not frighten us.
The room has a new good repair, good furniture, it was clean, all consumables - shampoo, soap, gel, paper were in place. But the TV showed with interference, and the refrigerator did not cool. They immediately invited a guy to help, who said that the TVs did not work throughout the hotel and this issue could not be resolved. Daria said that the administrator had told: either stay with a non-working TV or your money will be returned. Time 22.00 in the arms of a baby and another 9 years old. Of course we stayed, but we were transferred to another room, where the refrigerator still fulfilled its duty)
Actually this is the only point that was eliminated the next day. Everything worked.

Pool: clean! Filters are washed all the time. I saw 3 times a day they cleaned for sure. The water is warm, heated, there are always enough places, they cover it with a film at night.
Restaurant: clean, tasty, didn't like the breakfast very much, advice: add a cereal dispenser and milk. And add eggs at least in the form of fried eggs or boiled.
Entertainment: The playground is nice, clean and well maintained. Football game tables are new and in excellent condition. Tennis table with new rackets.
Tip: add music by the pool. Summer lounge would be great for relaxing by the water.
Something needs to be done with the green lake, it looks dirty.
