We want to go with children to Transcarpathia in the summer, we are looking for a house on the shore of the Lake and a forest. Where to go?
We have two children, 4 years and 6 months. Where exactly should we go, so that we can take a break from the bustle of the city and the child so that

There are no lakes as such in Transcarpathia if you are interested in a beach holiday. In Solotvino lakes are salty, for treatment. There is a bathing lake in the Carpathians, in Bukovel.
Well, at hotels you can monitor the presence of artificial lakes or a pool. But be aware. that the water in artificial lakes is very cold, not suitable for children (for example, it was at the Lake Vita hotel - these are the Carpathians, Pylypets, there is an artificial lake, a good beach, but the water was very cold)
аватар mindguru
Children of this age will not be interested in the forest.
аватар pauluholja
As a variant closer to civilization and all nearby - Goldfish near the san. Bruise.

The hostess is Austrian. Everyone is on the same level. And a small lake for a child and across the road a mountain river, another 350 meters Skakalo waterfall, camp Vodogray. The minibus from Mukachevo stops at the gate.

If not Transcarpathia, where should such trains go? So that we rest and the child was well?

We rested in Shayan, the sanatorium "Carpathia ", is pretty good, it is practically in the forest and there is a lake there, an artificial one on the territory of the sanatorium, and in Shayan itself there is a good natural lake, but it is far from Carpathia. The places themselves are very beautiful, around the mountains. But you need to go by car, since Shayan is on the edge of geography and getting there by public transport, and even with small children, is not at all comfortable. There are also very good worthy sanatoriums, I liked Visak, or you can rent a house to cook for yourself. But civilization is really far away. If closer, then in with. Glade is not bad, look on the internet.

from. Glade + lake?
аватар olyajan
For mindguru: no, without a lake, alas.
аватар mindguru
I was there, so I asked again. The TC prioritizes the lake and the forest. Polyana has neither.
аватар Vikakim1027
Thanks a lot for the replies!
We fly to Lviv, and there we will rent a car, so getting there will not be a problem)
аватар olyajan
Look still all the same in with. Polyana complex "Solnechny". I myself was not in it, but I heard good reviews, besides, there seems to be a lake on the territory. http://www.sunnyresort.com.ua/
аватар Tatyana652
I also support the idea"Glade" for families with small children. There is still a lake there, but not for swimming, but to sit with a fishing rod at most (I don’t guarantee a catch) or ride old catamarans. But for swimming there in the resort "Sunny Transcarpathia" (Upper Polyana) there is an outdoor heated pool "Polyansky fonts" (last year it was 5 euros / day / person, there are sunbeds, showers, changing rooms). There are plenty of accommodation facilities - from boarding houses with treatment and mini-hotels, to apartments in a new building with a kitchen, or a house on the outskirts of the village. By the way, there is also a forest there, more precisely, a forest plantation where the health path route is laid, you can walk every day with children and are not afraid to get lost. And transport links for trips on independent excursions around the region are the most optimal. The only thing is that Polyana is not suitable for allergy sufferers (ragweed, etc.).
аватар Tatyana652
Vikakim1027, if you drive from Lviv, then on the way you can stop by the Morshyn resort - it is one of the few located in the forest itself, it is quiet here, there are no noisy entertainments and animations, but suddenly you will like it. There is a small pond (more for fishing), I don’t remember hotels with a pool. But for trips by car to the sights of the south. Lviv region is the best place (next to Medenichy is the Limpopo Zoo, in Bubnyshche Dovbush Rocks, near Skole the Kamenka waterfall, in Truskavets the Dolphinarium, the UNESCO Temple of St. , a large lake in Dolgoluk b / o"Shepilska ", etc.).
аватар olyajan
And I have very strong doubts about Morshyn. Firstly, there is very high humidity in the summer, and it often rains, I was not comfortable there. Secondly, there is boring mortal and no infrastructure, and young people will be very bored there, and the children will have nothing to do, and the forest for a 4-year-old child is for one day. So Morshyn, I think, is more suitable for the rest of pensioners, and for those who need Morshyn water. For me, Polyana is still the best option. I have traveled all over the Carpathians, and Transcarpathia, and Prykarpattya far and wide and more than once, so I give advice from my own experience.
аватар Vikakim1027
Thanks a lot for the advice!
After all that I have read, I’m already thinking, maybe not Transcarpathia and not the Carpathians, but look for another place in Ukraine, and navigate more where the child will be interested and fun (animators for children and all kinds of entertainment) I just wouldn’t want the sea (since we are from Israel and the sea is enough for us) and Ukrainian nature;)
аватар Tatyana652
pepsicola, well, you are not the only one who traveled the length and breadth of the Carpathians))). I cited Morshyn as an example, since it is on the way from Lviv to Transcarpathia - you can stop by and see - yours or not - this resort is for those who want solitude and radial excursions.
Vikakim1027 - You have conflicting requests"to hide from the bustle of the city" and"all sorts of entertainment". For entertainment, animation - this is in the Carpathians only to Bukovel, but it's expensive, but you from Israel - it's quite affordable to rent a house, you can on the outskirts, but you will be by car.
We have many places where you can enjoy Ukrainian nature. But we must understand that in the summer, nevertheless, in Ukraine, all active life moves closer to the sea, especially with children's animation.
I can offer Shatsky Lakes in Volyn, houses in a pine forest, sandy beaches, clean lakes, but primitive infrastructure, mosquitoes, as such, there is no animation, but all water activities, rope parks, horseback riding, car rentals are present.
аватар olyajan
No, if not the sea, then the best of all is the Carpathians. Take a look at p. Polyana complex "Solnechny". http://www.sunnyresort.com.ua/ (this is the official site), there is just a children's animation there. And you organize trips for yourself - to a deer farm, to a trout farm, to an ostrich farm, to mini-zoos, it will be interesting for a child. You will decide on the place already with excursion routes, there are a lot of them - both to the mountains, and to waterfalls, and along different meadows. Carpathians for the summer - this is it, and the heat is easier to bear.
аватар kazkova
Bukovel - I agree, there are entertainment there. But Shatsky lakes - no-no!!! I don’t advise it at all, it sucks completely, there is no beach, dirt is everywhere, the infrastructure is terrible, etc. There is nowhere to eat, everywhere there are terrible dirty eateries only, it’s not clear to the people of the crowd why. I've been there once and never again and I won't recommend it to anyone!
Therefore, summing up your wishes, it seems to me. that the most acceptable option for you is Bukovel.
And I also agree that at the expense of entertainment - these are mostly seaside resorts. And in the Carpathians, just enjoying nature.

"Beach" on Lake Svityaz (Shatsk Lakes)
аватар Tatyana652
I also remembered - the resort complex "Voevodino" in the village of Turya-Apiary (30 km from Polyana towards Perechyn). This is really in the middle of the forest, a closed area, there is a children's club and entertainment, an equestrian club, vats-baths-spas, a landscape park with a pond (a pond for beauty), restaurants on the territory, accommodation both in the building and in cottages (private sector nearby). If you spend all the time on the territory, then it is a good option, since the road there is a little dead and every day it will be inconvenient to go on excursions. Yes, and you can only get there by your own car (or order a transfer from them).
аватар Vikakim1027
I really liked the Voevodyno complex, but unfortunately there are no vacancies for August :(
аватар Tatyana652
August is the peak of the season, it is already difficult to find places in a good hotel. But if you are still considering such hotel complexes (not only houses in the private sector), then you can also look in those parts of the Reikartz Carpathians in the village of Zhdeniyevo (not far from Polyana, and there is Reikartz in Polyana itself).
If we take the Ivano-Frankivsk region, then in addition to Bukovel, look also at Yaremche, full of hotels, private houses, a city on the territory of the Carpathian National Park surrounded by forests, there is an aviary, eco-paths, mini-waterfalls (large rapids). In Yaremche, I recommend for families "Romantic Spa Hotel" (there are swimming pools, a children's room and a playground, a nanny and a teacher, etc.), or others in this regard.
In the Chernivtsi region, not in the mountains, but 20 km east of Chernivtsi, in the village of Boyany, there is a large complex on the lakes - "Sunny Valley", in the middle of the forest (choose hotel "Fortezza"), where the closed area is full of entertainment for children and adults + you can go on an excursion to Chernivtsi or Khotin-Kamenets once.

Have you ever been to Skhidnytsia (near Truskavets)? If not, go ahead, you won't regret it. Great place, mineral springs, nature, forest, mountains. A lot of positive emotions. You won’t be able to swim, all mountain rivers and lakes are cold, but you can walk, through the forest, into the mountains (even people of advanced age can do it). There are many boarding houses, however, you need to order in advance, about the same people rest there, order everything in advance. There is simply accommodation (you cook in the kitchen yourself), there is a full board, delicious dietary cuisine.
Decide, it will be necessary, I can advise. The internet is full of information and reviews.
аватар mao2267
Yes Skhidnytsia is popular now! The best hotel Three sons and a daughter! Tustan!
аватар Tatyana652
Skhodnitsa, like Morshyn, is more suitable for solitude and treatment. With small children it will be boring there, except to settle in a large hotel complex and not leave from there. Since there are no restaurants or entertainment in the village, restaurants are only at hotels, and outsiders are not always allowed there. The hotel "Three sons..." is the most expensive, recently the service there is lame, while they still hold the brand "Tustan" and "Kievskaya Rus" (the latter has the most optimal location, in the center, near Panteleimon Park) . Yes, and it’s inconvenient to go on excursions from Skhidnitsa - the road is broken in the radius, and in addition you need to spend time on getting to civilization. Animation for children only on the territory of large hotels.
аватар Tatyana652
As an analogue of "Voevodyno", but a little simpler, look at "Vezha Vedmezha" in the village of Volosyanka, Slavske, Lviv region. There you can also not leave the territory for 3-4 days, a lot of entertainment, a summer pool, a lake for fishing and boating, next to the Zakhar Berkut cable car. The road to Slavske has already been made, in Volosyanka itself it is a little worse. It is quiet in Slavske, without animation, but there are trout farms, a pottery workshop ("4-seasons"), etc. can be found.
аватар Vikakim1027
I liked "Vezha Vedmezha" and "Karpatsky Polonigi" very much too! left to choose :)
Thank you all very much!
аватар Tatyana652
"Karpatsky polonini" in the village of Oriv? - it’s also good, but the hotel on the mountain, in the literal sense of the word, you won’t drop by a low car, but they provide a transfer-lift, and at the bottom, in the village itself, tourists leave their cars with the owners in the yard.

Bukovel? Sorry, strange advice. 1 artificial small lake and housing for the price of Lake Garda in Italy.
It seems to me that the author of the question misunderstands the Carpathians. There is no type of recreation required.
Animation, especially - in domestic tourism, forget about this word.
Or Balaton in Hungary, or Lake Garda in Italy (but very expensive).
Or rest houses on water bodies in Ukraine (mainly on rivers).
аватар Apyatka
There is no animation in Vezha Vedmezha. The children's room is poorly equipped and is located in the basement. But there is really enough natural beauty there. You swim in the pool, and around the mountains. The lift to Zakhar Berkut is a stone's throw away, and there is space and breathtaking views. The hotel itself is very good! I have not seen better in Ukraine.
Reikartz Karpaty - the price is lower and meals are included in the room rate. But in comparison with Vezha it does not go to any. Vezha is a work of art and a high level of service, and Reikartz Karpaty is just a good chain hotel. There is children's animation, two children's rooms, one of them has a huge climbing frame. There is a salt water pool. But with beauties there is easier. There is no climb to the mountains nearby, you need to go to Volovets or Pylypets.
The house on the lake is in Sherwood in the Lviv region http://sherwood-resort.com/hotel.html, but there is no animation there and this is no longer the Carpathians.
