Apyatka, I have never considered Egypt as a likely destination for myself. Never ever. With a light hand, cgistalker flew safely to Sharm for a week in December (from 11/12 to 18/12). I liked it very much. The beauty of it is that suddenly from summer to winter - one time, the brains turn off completely - two, I don’t even talk about fruits and the sea :). So I also vote for Egi. When I was there, a couple from Odessa rested there, a 3-day tour. Only I would consider Sharm, yet it is warmer there than in Hurghada.

To Egypt for one full day ... hmm .... what if acclimatization ?, rescheduling flights, etc. ... especially for 300 bucks .... when you can add about 200 and fly away for a full week (IMHO)

My wife and I have birthdays in January and we go to Egypt. The weather is like in Kyiv in the summer, only there is practically no rain. And break out for at least 5 days, take a couple of days at your own expense. Otherwise, lately with charter transfers you can lose two days and instead of 3 days you get 1 day, but everything will be fine with TO and you will get $ 200 per day.
