Air flight Moscow-Kyiv-Moscow
Previously, I always traveled between these cities by train, and therefore I understand well which ones are convenient to travel, and which ones are scary to enter. But somehow I don’t want to spend the night in the car with a child. Who can tell you which flights / companies are optimal in terms of price / quality ratio? And then I looked in the internet - darkness flights.

I push off from the departure airport. If it's Sheremetyevo-Aeroflot, if it's Domodedovo-Transaero, if Vnukovo used to be a good air company Entente-Soyuz, but now it doesn't exist, so, probably, UTair. Select the flight at the time most convenient for you, taking into account the passage of inspection, customs control, etc. Look at the official websites of the a / c timetable, aircraft diagrams, ticket prices for the date of departure.

And if Aeroflot - but in Domodedovo or Vnukovo - is there worse planes? I just see that mostly Boeings and Airbuses fly from them to Kyiv.

gostia, the home port of Aeroflot-Sheremetyevo Airport, does not fly Aeroflot from either Domodedovo or Vnukovo. I fly often, I live in ZAO and it’s more convenient for me to fly from Vnukovo, but if Aeroflot knocks out Sheremetyevo, or Skyexpress from Vnukovo, I won’t even think about Aeroflot.

There is an Aeroflot flight from Vnukovo to Kyiv.
An airplane is not a train, and you can find out in advance what modification the board will be, but it’s impossible to know in advance, how lucky. There is also an aircraft replacement.

To be honest, I also tend to Aeroflot. True, she once flew with Aerosvit and Ukraine International Airlines, though to other countries. Who knows what the thread is about them - are there good planes in this direction?

And what does "what modification of the board" mean and which one is considered good?

Gostia, I almost always fly with Aeroflot, though not from Kyiv. Never had any complaints. But, since you are with a small child, take into account the fact in which area in Moscow you will live. If closer to the"ball ", then fly Aeroflot. If from Vnukovo, then you can use Aeroflot, but a flight flies there from Kyiv only once a day, so if this time is convenient for you, then feel free to choose. If not, then Aerosvit. If it is more convenient for you from Domodedovo, then Transaero or Siberia.
And if cost plays an important role for you, then start from where the cheapest tickets are.
Go to the a/c websites: aeroflot.ru, transaero.ru, aerosvitairlines.ru, s7.ru
With regards to the modification, in my opinion, this information is not particularly needed, i.e. it's not worth bothering with it. But the type of aircraft also plays a role for many. But, there are situations when boron can be replaced, i.e., as an option, instead of an airbus, you will fly on a Boeing.
Also, a plus for choosing one or another a / c may be that you have a frequent flyer card, is it possible to pre-book seats in the cabin (if you are flying with a child, this is also important).

Elena 25, many thanks for the detailed answer. It’s convenient for me to fly to Vnukovo, so I’ll probably stop at the only Aeroflot that flies there. A Boeing or Airbus does not matter to me. The main thing is that they do not replace Tu-shku.
