Picturesquely, the city itself is more spacious, less crowds of tourists. At 6 km - the village of Novy Svet, you can stop there, surrounded on all sides by mountains and rocks, very picturesque (but there are fewer places). You can walk along the Golitsyn path, drink local champagne.
You can also go to Koktebel, Ordzhonikidze, etc.
There are plenty of good places to stay in Eastern Crimea. And financially more accessible than the South Coast.

Spacious beaches with fish in the Crimea? It's just ridiculous.)))) Neither Gurzuf nor Sudak can boast of such. We went by skiff from Balaklava to a spacious beach in the direction of Cape Aya. At the end of September, there were not so many vacationers. We didn't see any fish though. I go to Crimea for a maximum of 5 days at the end of May or in September. The prices are quite acceptable. In the summer, it's worth counting. Maybe it's really cheaper in Turkey?
