I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend at the beginning of October. In Turkey for the first time, before that we went to Egypt, of which I am a zealous fan. I went to Turkey with great reluctance, especially because I wanted to go to Kemer, where there are pines and mountains, but at the last moment the price of the hotel I chose rose sharply and the travel agency offered me to go to Sidekum. I didn’t like the photos of the hotel, but the reviews were mostly good and, reluctantly, I went.
We arrived late in the evening, we didn’t have time for dinner, but at the reception we were immediately offered to go to a restaurant, where we had a delicious vegetable soup - with my active dislike for puree soups, I even wanted more! This is an indicator! At the reception, I handed a box of chocolates with the words "Present", which was accepted with gratitude. As a result, we got a two-room family suite on the second floor in one of the cottages located across the tunnel from the main building of the hotel. In the small room there is a large double bed, in the large one there are two single beds, a large flat-screen TV on the wall, two armchairs with a table, a spacious closet, a bar, a safe - $2 per day - and a mini-bar. The bathroom is small, although everything you need was there. The only inconvenience is not a single hook for taking off clothes...
In the morning we went out onto the balcony and were stunned - an orange tree with large green fruits grew right under our balcony, next to it was a lemon tree. As it turned out, we found ourselves almost in the Garden of Eden. Tangerines, bananas, quince, figs, olives, pomegranates still grow on the territory of the hotel. Why not the Garden of Eden? In general, our room was in the best location of the hotel - quiet, peaceful. The balcony overlooked the pool. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the main building and the restaurant!

Now about the hotel. Purely German, without luxury, everything is thought out and rational. A large, rather deep pool, in addition to the one our balcony overlooked. Still quite small and small for kids and a pool with a slide. Lots of inflatable mattresses where you can swim and sunbathe right in the pool.
The restaurant is spacious, a large covered track outside, where we loved to have lunch and dinner. It was always possible to find empty seats in the restaurant. The waiters are very efficient and nimble, they quickly clean the dirty dishes, serve the vacant seats. Drinks ordered are delivered promptly. They understand Russian, English and, of course, German. In general, we had no communication problems at the hotel. We were understood, we understood.
The hotel staff is very friendly, smiling and friendly. We did not feel the difference in attitude towards the Germans and us. Maybe because we greeted everyone and smiled at everyone?
Room cleaning. Well, to be honest, it's very mediocre. The floor was mopped, the bed straightened, towels changed. Shampoo was added once. The mini-bar was replenished with water constantly. But we didn't quibble. Smelled good in the room. We did not look for dust in the corners, because we came to rest, and not to look for negativity.

Nutrition. Above all praise. Fruit three times a day - beautiful red and green apples, blue and green grapes, peaches, plums, oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, pomegranate seeds, pineapples, delicious pears, melon, watermelon. Red fish, sea bass, grilled mackerel, some kind of fish in batter, cold fish as an appetizer, tuna salad, mussel salad, sushi. A variety of meat dishes, all kinds of kebabs, chicken... vegetables baked, stewed, fresh, all kinds of salads... rice, pilaf, boiled potatoes, stewed, baked in foil... a variety of seasonings, sauces... you can’t count everything. Fritters, pancakes, omelettes. Six or eight types of jam, honeycombs, six or eight types of ice cream in the evening. . . We tried probably a tenth of the entire range of food. Everything is deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. Constantly added and reported. Not tasty only sausage for breakfast and I personally did not like the cheeses - very salty. Drinks - juices in packages, pour as much as you want. Unlimited bottled water in the restaurant and on the street near the bar. I am not fond of alcohol, I tried white, red and rose wine. I didn’t like it, it’s all bitter, I don’t like that. Beer, in my opinion, not bad, quite pleasant. In bars, only strong alcohol, I don’t drink it, there are no liquors. In general, they feed almost around the clock - breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, some constant snacks, dinner, night soup. In the lobby bar there are cookies, cakes around the clock... in a word, a belly feast!
Beach. The best on the coast. Fine soft sand. Not a single stone or shell! Clean, clear water. Very gentle entry into the sea. We saw both a storm and a complete calm. Everything is great! There were always enough places on the beach for us, and we didn’t lie almost. They either swam or walked along the coast, since in Turkey, unlike in Egypt, hotels do not fence off their beaches and the passage along them is free. To the sea from the hotel at a leisurely pace exactly 5 minutes, we spotted. On the way to the sea on the territory of another hotel, we saw an avocado tree with ripening fruits!
Animation. Unobtrusive. Designed for the Germans. We saw how they sang, danced, had fun. You could play bocha on the beach. We got up early, so in the evening we did fine without animation and were glad that our cottage was located in a quiet family area of the hotel.
Tour operator. TUI. Murat. Distinguished by the fact that we never found him in the hotel. He did not show up for the meeting he had scheduled, 9 tourists waited in vain for him for more than an hour. They also could not contact him by phone. It’s good that we weren’t going to buy excursions from him and even at home we found a company with which we agreed on our leisure time in advance. But we had to worry on the eve of departure, as information about the transfer to the airport was not posted and we had to contact the reception several times. As a result, the information was received after dinner. True, the transfer arrived on the minute, which was very pleasing.

We went on excursions through the Eldorado agency. Were in Pamukkale - really liked it, there was a great guide. Were in Greencanyon. We did not see the canyon as such, unfortunately, everything was limited to a boat trip along a very beautiful freshwater lake with unusually cool green water. . . On the claims of the group to the organizers of the tour about the fact that the canyon was not shown to us, they received excuses, first that they showed us the canyon. After we showed our knowledge of geography and explained what the canyon should look like, our organizer froze that it would take at least a week to see the Green Canyon. In general, everything ended with insults from Eldorado, which spoiled the whole impression of the tour. And even a bonus from the guide in the form of an unplanned visit to the waterfall, could not correct the situation. With Greencanyon, we were simply shamelessly thrown! Although the lake is very beautiful, I would rather visit the Aquarium. But I really wanted to see the canyon! Alas! We also visited the Turkish hammam with the same Eldorado. Or rather, we started with it, went there on the very first day of our vacation. Hamam liked it. For 15 bucks we got a great exfoliation, great foam massage and great oil massage. Recomend for everybody!
Oh, I signed something with my impressions...
Summary. Hotel Sidekum I recommend to everyone. Excellent, comfortable, small, cozy. . . A great hotel with wonderful staff who do everything for our comfortable stay. Separate respect to the cooks, waiters and all the staff of the restaurant. THANKS!!!
I enjoyed my vacation in Turkey. But still my heart belongs to Egypt. Its best sea in the world, its dry hot air, its corals and red mountains. . . But that's another story.
