We vacationed as a family of 4 (all adults) in mid-August. Room type Family room Land view with balcony. I will give the rating in the review using a 10-point system according to service categories; I would like to say right away that the rating will be subjective.
Reception: we arrived late in the evening and arrived at the hotel a little after midnight. When checking in, I put $10 in my passport. The receptionist didn't speak Russian, but we understood each other in English.
As a digression, it should be noted that only a few people spoke Russian in the hotel, two of them in the SPA (pretty good) and one of the animators (somewhat worse). Not all receptionists and other workers spoke English either. But an online translator solved all language problems.
And so, they checked out quickly, put on ribbon bracelets (and my daughter is 18 years old, she put them on in red, as it turned out, with limited access to the bar services), offered to take a photo of the restaurant’s opening hours, and emphasized that we would still have time for night soup before 01:00 in the restaurant (the event takes place from 00:00 to 01:00 every night), and if you wish, we can also visit the 24-hour bar. The receptionist picked up our suitcases and carried us to our room, naturally in the elevator. The room is on the third floor (actually the 5th floor). He opened the door, showed the number, gave him an electronic key card and a cardboard card holder, saying that there were cards for beach towels there. In the morning, when I opened the card holder, I found only two cards for towels. I had to later resolve the issue at the reception both with the bracelet and with additional cards for towels with another receptionist; the issues were resolved quickly with the help of an online translator.
Cards are exchanged for beach towels at the spa and issued back when you return the towels. On the last day, given that we had a night flight, we managed to extend our room until 20:00, of course with an additional charge. I can rate the work of the reception 8 points. They could immediately look at the age and give additional cards for towels. I don’t take into account the language barrier; there are enough tools to overcome it.
Room: the room looked good, of course there are some abrasions from previous guests, but they are minor. The furniture is relatively new and intact, the condition of the rooms is good. The plumbing was working, intact, there was no sewage smell. The room has two rooms, an entrance hall, a bathroom, a balcony. In the hallway there are wardrobes with a safe (few hangers for clothes), the first room has two single beds, two armchairs, a coffee table, a dressing table, bedside tables, a TV, a refrigerator (it worked rather weakly), and a tea set.
In the second room there is a double bed, a dressing table, bedside tables, a refrigerator (it worked rather weakly) and a TV. Exit to the balcony from both rooms, air conditioning in each room. Combined bathroom, hairdryer, shower, table with sink, toilet with installation. I can rate the condition of the room 9 points.
Cleaning: there is simply no cleaning as such. For 11 days the beds were not changed even once. I’m not sure that they will be changed after our departure, just as I’m not sure that they were changed before our arrival. Tips were left daily, but, as I understand it, they were only enough to change towels and replenish the tea set with bags of coffee and sugar and a bottle of water and shampoo. Upon arrival there were 4 small towels, so we survived the night. The next day, however, they already put in 4 large ones. But everything would be fine, but every day the number of towels was different, from 3 to 5 (4 new and old). I could still put up with 5, but I didn’t want to with 3, I had to look for a cleaning lady and ask for a towel.
The floor was only washed in the bathroom. There was no cleaning in the rooms. The wife couldn’t stand it and washed the room twice herself, fortunately she had a damaged T-shirt. Cleaning 2 points, it doesn't amount to more.
Restaurant: I would like to immediately point out 9 points. Breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00. Lunch from 12:30 to 14:00, snacks from 15:30 to 17:00 (burgers, fries, hot dogs, nuggets, spaghetti, much more). There was always a lot of food, dishes were constantly replenished, there were enough meat and fish dishes in all forms (fried, grilled, dried, salted, hot, cold, etc. ). There were enough side dishes, a huge variety of cold appetizers, vegetables, fruits, sweets and baked goods. The staff worked quickly, the tables were cleared of plates and crumbs instantly. The drinks really let us down a bit. I didn’t like the juices; it felt like they were bred from some kind of concentrate. Sometimes strong, sometimes weak to the point of cloying.
I didn’t like the coffee in any form (it was poured from a machine, the drinks were often mixed up, the same goes for juices). But there are no complaints about beer, wine and lemonade. Separately, it is worth noting the tea, it is simply magnificent.
Bar: in addition to the restaurant, the bar was open near the pool and on the beach. The beach had its own bar: you could get juices, lemonade, water, beer, coffee, tea. Juices, lemonade and coffee from the machine. The quality of the drinks is described above. No other drinks were served there.
There was a larger selection of drinks near the pool. In addition to those listed on the beach, additionally alcoholic cocktails (cocktail menu for 6 drinks), milkshakes (if there was milk), wine. But I didn’t see any strong drinks, although my daughter said with doubt that one of the guests allegedly took whiskey with Pepsi (in principle, there was no Coca-Cola there, all the machines had Pepsi). As for the quality of drinks, I wrote about juices, lemonades, and beer above.
The proportions of cocktails were never respected, so the same cocktails always had a different taste and shade. Shaker was rarely picked up at all. Everything was prepared by eye and depending on the mood. At first, I also left a tip at the bar (if I took cocktails), but after they made us a Cuba Libre cocktail without cola, and milkshakes by simply pouring milk and juice with ice into one glass, I stopped leaving tips. Basically 6 points.
Swimming pool: the pool is clean, there is no chlorine, it is divided into two areas for children and adults. Of course there are few sunbeds. It’s best to book before 10:00, then you may not be able to find a seat. Basically, we went to the sea in the morning and to the pool in the afternoon. Of course, there were no more places on the sun loungers, but you could always find a place at the table that stood on the pool terrace. Considering that we didn’t spend more than 1-1.5 hours there, this was not important for us.
During the day there was animation near the pool, some kind of dancing, small competitions for adults and children, darts, and they offered a lottery for 6 euros. Well, in general it's a bit boring. Although the animators tried. 7 points for the pool.
Beach: also requires a separate description. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Near. Divided into two small zones. The first zone is located by the sea: a small area, dirty, the entrance to the sea is rocky and inconvenient. Higher up on the embankment there is a second site. It's not big either, but much cleaner. The hotel's beach bar is also located there. To swim, it’s better to walk 20 meters to the right, there is a very good entry into the sea, sand, shallow. The sea is transparent and clean. The only annoying thing is the small fish that try to bite your leg if you stand in one place for a long time. Now about the equipment.
The sun loungers are broken in places, the wicker umbrellas have probably survived more than one generation of guests (they may have seen the first Russian tourists), the mattresses are dirty, the tables are both dirty and scary. There is a permanent employee on the beach. He still cleans up the upper beach area, at the very least; on the lower one he only collects large garbage. But the main thing is that there is not enough equipment for everyone. It got to the point that the employee would come and demand to give up the sun lounger (because we were four adults and, horror of horrors, we occupied as many as 4 sun loungers). Once he agreed to share, then he began to refuse. He didn’t even ask about umbrellas and tables, he came and took it. As a rule, the influx of vacationers on the beach occurred after 11:00. We usually returned to the hotel by 12:00.
SPA: I didn’t visit, I only used towels, I can’t rate it. But they very intrusively offered a set of procedures, daily and several times wherever they could.
So:
Reception – 8 points;
Number – 9 points;
Room cleaning – 2 points;
Restaurant – 9 points;
Bar – 6 points;
Swimming pool – 7 points;
Beach – 5 points;
Animation – 6 points.
I wanted to write that the hotel corresponds to 4 stars. But after my friends’ story about their holiday in Kemer (in a 4-star hotel), I will write that the hotel is 3+.

The hotel is new. Very expensive repair, good, stylish, new rooms. Located near the airport - 1.5 hours by transfer. Wonderful view from the panoramic window to the sea, if you pay extra for sea view. Great view of the sea and the city from the cafe on the 11th floor, especially in the evening. There are already 2 Russian speakers and about 10 English speakers.

And the price is nothing - for a week a little more than $ 1.000 for 2 + child in the midst of the season.
This, perhaps, is all the advantages of the hotel.
Now for the cons.
The hotel does not have a beach. No, well, as there is a tiny piece on a public beach, only 15 meters wide, where 6 umbrellas and 12 sun loungers fit.
Well, like umbrellas, such a large Vietnamese hat made of vines that does not protect from the sun. Well, sun loungers cannot be called those products that are on the beach. Terrible quality, almost all broken. They are very thin, and burst exactly in the middle, so be careful - many had pinched skin when you sit on a deck chair and it diverges under you, and then you try to get up, and he pinched your leg.
The beach is not marked in any way that it is a hotel beach, so the locals do not know that this is a hotel beach. If you like big, noisy Muslim families who come with 5 children to eat on the beach and smoke. Yes, if you like smoking, you can not take cigarettes with you - it is very fashionable for Turks to smoke, and you are guaranteed to be constantly in cigarette smoke. They will smoke from all sides and throw cigarette butts in the sand, because it's so funny.
There is no descent to the beach and no path. There are 4 steps and further sand. If you are with a stroller - choose another hotel.
If you want to lie on the first line, then it’s better for you not to go to bed, but to take sunbeds from the night, because there are only 12 of them in 1 row, and at 6 in the morning all or half are already occupied with towels. But the owners of the towels come at 11-12, after they get enough sleep. And the hotel does nothing about it.
There is no bar on the beach. No, well, there is a booth on wheels, there is water, fanta-sprite-pepsi. And EVERYTHING. For a beer or a cocktail or coffee, you will need to go to the hotel bar. But, for this you need to take a shower, dry off, change clothes, wash your feet, put on shoes and go to the hotel. After all, even though it’s 200 meters away, you can walk past 4 hotels and 8 cafes along an ordinary street, where there is dirt, stones and glass, and no one walks here in swimming trunks and barefoot around the city and around the hotel. After all, the hotel is beautiful, urban, you won’t trample through a beautiful reception in swimming trunks...
There are also huge stray dogs on the beach. Therefore, if you are a dog lover, this hotel is for you. You can enjoy the dogs that are right at your feet, you can smell them, clean up their poop (yes, guess what, dogs poop too), you can enjoy the sand and water shower when they climb out of the water and shake off the sand and water from yourself. You can be touched by how they bark and guard their territory, and mark it - mainly on towels and sunbeds.
In general, the beach itself is super - the sand was once golden, now it’s really dirty gray, but the water is clean and clear in the morning. At 6 o'clock... Then a bunch of people come and it becomes sandy and milky, opaque. If you want to swim, then you are definitely not here - a hundred meters to the waist.
But if you like to go waist-deep and chill in the water, watching the competition of "wet veils", then you are here.
There are no changing rooms on our beach, but there is a toilet near the bar, you can change clothes there. The toilet, surprisingly, is decent and is washed in the morning.
If you pass in the morning, get ready for the fact that you will need to clean the beach and sunbeds yourself.
All night there is movement - so the beach is all filthy. Everywhere glasses, cigarette butts, bags, leftovers. But it's okay - at the end of the beach there is a beach rake - take them and clean the beach. For dog poop, it is recommended to use glasses, which the sea is lying around here, and to clean the sunbeds from sand and dirt, you can use a brush, I took it from the guard of the neighboring beach. It's okay, charging in the morning is very useful! I did it every morning. By the way, dogs can be perfectly driven away with water - take it, fill it with a glass or a plastic bottle of sea water and pour it in their direction. It works with a bang, personally verified, after a huge dog with an upset stomach lay down near our sunbed, and it swept, sorry, right on the sand near the sea... After that, I asked the dogs to lie down on neighboring beaches, with the help of water) ))
By the way, our beach is cleaned by hotel workers. But they come to 10. And I'm at 6 and with my family, and at 11 we already leave, because. very hot, and the umbrellas do not give shade at all. And lying in the mud on the sea is not mine, so I cleaned the beach myself.
You can write a lot about the beach. But my advice - if you are going for the sea, then choose another hotel.
About the hotel itself - the hotel is chic. But you need to understand that this is a city hotel. Those. it is located in the city, and it has no territory, from the word COMPLETELY. If you are a wheelchair user, or with a small child in a stroller, then you should choose another hotel. There are two exits on the sides of the stairs, but it is unrealistic to drive in, only with the help of three people. Yes, you won’t pass, because. the hotel has absolutely no parking, and cars are parked in front of the hotel entrance in 2 rows, with a passage of 50 cm, it is unrealistic to drive, it is difficult to pass (although there is a wasteland on the side, and if I were the owner, I would have made a chic parking lot)
Another issue is the elevators. They break often. The view from above is excellent from their windows, but of the two elevators, one only works, then one or the other constantly breaks, so ask for a room on the middle floors so that you can go on foot.
There are still constant problems with the light - it is selected and the conders do not work. During the day, the light is not important, it's light, but without a conder it's hard, very hot. I thought the problem was in my room, maybe the wiring... But I asked around, everyone in the hotel was constantly cutting down the conders.
The rooms are beautiful, everything is new, not yet crap. Everything in the room is excellent, except for the cleaning and the stink of kangaroo in the toilet. They don't clean well, they smooth the sheets with their hands, they changed them 2 times in total. Our wet towels are folded and hung beautifully. But don’t worry, there is a pantry near the elevator - I went in and took myself new towels and linen, changed it myself and everything is ok. And the stink from the canal is treated by airing. Because no hood, no forced fan. There is a window in the shower but it does not open. Well, on the other hand, you didn’t come to sit in the room, but at night the door to the toilet was closed and nothing stinks!
Bar. Beer, coffee from machines, Turkish, tea, juices from bags, Fanta Pepsi. And four three-liter cans of local alcohol - vodka, gin, tequila and whiskey. Drinking is impossible. If God forbid you go to this hotel, take what you drink from home or duty free. They don't speak Russian, only 2 people in the whole hotel know how to make cocktails. The rest are trying, but there is absolutely no experience.
Although people are all normal and sincere, if you smile at them, everything will be ok.
Swimming pool. If you like to swim with cigarette butts, then you just need to come to this hotel! The pool is located on the southern part of the hotel, the sun is scorching all the time, there are no umbrellas, at +44 you can’t lie down without a shadow. Although the pool itself is ice cold.
There are a million Turks around the pool, who have cigarettes sticking out of all the holes and they smoke one after another, but this is not scary, because. the pool is in a terrible wind and all the smoke blows away. All glasses, cigarette butts, ashes - everything flies into the pool. And the wind is constant. He is either very strong or terribly strong. There is no other. Regarding cigarettes - I once could not stand it and went to the reception and expressed everything. He asked me to make at least 2 sq. m. non-smoking area - it is impossible to be with children. There is a Russian-speaking Dina there, her answer summed up the attitude of the staff - "I don't care about that one. " There are normal people, but basically, no one cares. If there are any problems, I recommend looking for Dima. He really tries.
Food is normal. Nothing special. Every day is the same. Once a week we got seafood. Small shrimps, mussels, poella, squid. Once zakos under the Mexican cuisine, once under the Turkish. So everything is edible, except for the grill - constantly undercooked, there is a half-cooked turkey or meatballs - still that lottery on vacation; ) well, in general, it's normal. Lots of salads, fruits, a couple of meat dishes, lots of sweets. Once they even tried to wind up sushi. Probably for the first time
Well, in general, the rules, it is felt that the hotel is inexpensive, but you will not go hungry.
There is a spa. There seems to be a pool there, but the sunbeds around it were removed, the water is icy, and you can’t swim in it, WITHOUT A CAP. Do you always take a swimming cap with you? ; ) There is a hamam, but the entrance to it is always blocked with a mop. You can enter it only as part of the Poseidon spa program for 500 euros))). There is a wig. But there are more than 40 on the street. I didn’t feel like going to the steam room. There is a salt room.
In general, there is a spa, if you want, for 500 euros they will anoint you with soapy foam and give you a massage like "rails-rails, sleepers-sleepers")))
In short, the Hotel is new, beautiful, but urban. Good urban quarter. There is no territory, nowhere to walk, the beach is miserable. If you want to look at a good repair, expensive tiles, hold a business meeting, smoke in the pool, then you just need to come here for a vacation. If you need the sea, the beach, good service and attitude, then it is better to choose another hotel.
Would I come here again? Certainly. 500 bucks for 2 weeks, and I would love to come back, because it costs me the same to live at home, but there is no sea : )
But for other money I would choose another hotel
This, perhaps, is all the advantages of the hotel.
Now for the cons.

Skin word confirm photo. It's just a nightmare. Arrived at the Maril Resort Hotel 5 in Didim. The concept of UAl and "does not smell". 7 times already in Turkey. There is no such service as the hotel claims. The beach and the road to it is a passage past a thicket of cars, garbage cans with an incredible aroma.

There is no such service as the hotel claims. The beach and the road to it is a passage past a thicket of cars, garbage cans with an incredible aroma. The beach itself shared local sunbeds old and broken. There is no bar on the beach. There is not even a place to change clothes or go to the toilet. In the sea of people, like bees near the hive, and drinks fall into paper cups, which in 3 minutes. begin to fall apart. No choice. He gives everything away with oil.
This is the worst hotel!
