The contingent of tourists - Europe and local Turks. There are few Russians and Ukrainians. Lots of kids.
So, due to the occupancy of the hotel by 50%, we were settled just instantly, although we arrived at 6 in the morning. The room is spacious, everything is in place, everything works, slippers, bathrobes, new plumbing, new mattresses. I was pleased with the air conditioner - it is also regulated by temperature and, most importantly, there are 4 gradations in terms of power. It was comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. The bar is filling up.
The restaurant has a lot of staff, so there are no queues at all for the issuance of dishes. All are wearing masks. Temperatures are taken at the door and masks are given if you don't have one. Disinfectors are everywhere. Waiters try to remember preferences and courteously and lively. After each visitor, the tablecloth is removed and the table is disinfected. I would call the food "homemade". Fish, seafood have always been, turkey, chicken, grilled, beef, fruits, vegetables, pickles.
There is a variety of baby food and a separate diet corner.
The beach is large, sun loungers are far away, comfortable entry into the sea. It is possible to jump from the pier or go down the stairs. The sea is crystal clear until 11, then it becomes cloudy due to the sandy bottom. In the evening, all sun loungers and tables by the pool and on the beach are disinfected. Bartenders serve on the beach and pier.
High-speed Internet is free everywhere, on the beach, in a bar, in a room, in a restaurant, just everywhere.
The animation is very unobtrusive, but it is there. Of the interesting - target shooting, classes on water bikes in the pool. The coolest in the evening. And show-time, and after show, and disco. And the show is top notch.
The area is like a botanical garden. Lots of places to please the eye.
We were charged with positive, beauty, the sea, we were not afraid, there was a pleasant service and a great attitude.
Stayed at the hotel 3 times. We are going to go 4th. Every time a storm of positive emotions!
While my daughter was still a child, she adored the Children's Club. There everything is at the level of "you can't imagine better". Now, as a teenager, she likes just pampering in the pool (fortunately, there is a lot of space and you don’t have to push sideways with your neighbors).
The last time was in August 2019. I can say that in that year the animation, food, and in general the organization of the hotel's work became even better. It seems that the main managers have changed and are actually doing their job well.
I do not like to find fault, but in the case of Sherwood, there’s nothing to even. Me and my family absolutely love it!!!

About the restaurant - no words. Everything was very much and a lot of variety. In addition, there are international restaurants. We had dinner once at the Turkish restaurant on site as we are in Turkey and interested in learning more about Turkish cuisine. Liked everything.

We arrived in the morning at 4 o'clock ....we left our suitcases and changed (no one really suggested where it could be done ...and for this purpose a room is intended on the -1st floor in the SPA salon - a dressing room is called) ...and went to the beach . . the sea is super...by 9 o'clock tired came to breakfast where they ran into cute kittens that run around in herds....and look cute as you eat and, if possible, jump on the table and eat from your plate...
To the check-in, which takes place closer to 14 o’clock ...absolutely no one except you cares which room they will settle in and whether you will be comfortable ....they settled us in 1601 (the first building, 6th floor, 1 room) when we entered, we realized that there was discomfort with it was very noisy...
we thought the air conditioner was so noisy, but it turns out that when you open the window, the noise comes from below from the giant ventilation that stands below the window and all floors from 1101-1107 suffer from this sound and on all floors I think so ...it is especially felt at night ....when I want silence...it was not possible to move at the reception, they said there are no rooms (and no one speaks Russian)...on the trail. the day I started looking for friends who could help in changing the room to another ...and when you check out one of the a la carte restaurants that is booked if you leave from the -1 floor and go towards the sea ...then before issuing towels, a reservation is made ...and then the guardian angel appeared in the form of a girl, I don’t remember the name ...but there are two of them working in shifts, I think so (not Marina) and she solved our problem in 5 minutes ....phoned the reception and they showed us 2 rooms in the second building. . and it was great. Insist with a number in the second building ....and then sea-cocktails -beach-...
rest liked went to rest and swim. If we go to rest, then most likely to the Royal Wings Hotel 5 * hotel next to it, I’ll explain why ...every evening from 20 o’clock such disco music was playing that we were mentally there ...it wasn’t like that here.
Advantages of the hotel.
1) beach...clean and tidy
2) animation for children they will not be bored there.
3) food...a wide selection of dishes and all sorts of goodies.
disadvantages
1) the receptionist does not speak Russian (Ukrainian), it is very difficult to find the language (telephone to help).
2) lift!! ! (the girl entered the elevator ...the doors closed and that's it ....silence nothing works ...until someone calls him with a button from another floor ... )
3) the room was not cleaned properly...when checking into another room, they found a pin on the floor...it's good that they didn't go barefoot...
4) in the main restaurant for breakfast, when you come, it is advisable to eat indoors ....and not on the street ...because I put a plate of food ...put it on the table ....
I went to pour myself some tea or fresh juice...you come and the cat sits there and eats from your plate...
5) from the main restaurant, flies sit on everything that is possible ...discourages the desire to eat.
We arrived at 11:30, arrived at the hotel by 12:00, just in time for check-in : )
Since the beginning of the day, counting the flight and check-in, went wonderfully, our entire vacation went off with a bang : )

There are no words about the restaurant. Everything is more than perfect. In addition, there are international restaurants. We had dinner once in a Turkish restaurant on the territory of the hotel, since we are in Turkey and it is interesting to learn more about Turkish cuisine. We can go to restaurants with cuisine from other countries here in Norway. The emphasis was on Turkish cuisine : ) I liked everything.

We arrived at 7 o'clock. in the morning and we were immediately offered to have breakfast, we asked for cards for beach towels and went to the beach, where we changed in the cabins. Settled somewhere around 13.00 after dinner.
There were no particular problems with the language of communication. And in the restaurant, and in the bar, and at the reception, they speak a little Russian.
SEA. The sea is clear throughout the day, you can see the bottom and the fish. There was no algae, no debris floated. Each sunbed has a jug for garbage and cigarette butts. Every day and throughout the day, the staff cleans the beach. There are rubbish bins everywhere. So it all depends on the level of culture of vacationers. On the beach there is a refrigerator with bottles of water and ayran. The beach bar offers pizza, waffles, cocktails and drinks. Everything is available, without huge queues.
The sunbeds on the beach are far away, directly from the very entry into the sea, but they can be moved to the shore. The beach is large sandy, there are a lot of sunbeds, it was not necessary to borrow at 6 in the morning. Beach towels can be changed during the day an unlimited number of times in a stall on the way to the beach.
AQUAPARK. Water slides worked on a schedule from 10 to 12. The slides are not the biggest, cylinders for skiing are available. There was always an attendant on the slides and said when the next person could slide down. Thanks to him, I was always calm that my child, having rolled down, would have time to sail away from the slide before the next person went down. The water park has a bar.
HOTEL. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful both inside and out. There are many palm trees on the territory of the hotel, flowers that fall into the frame and make the photo exotic, there are hammocks. There are 5 swimming pools on the territory: 2 for children, 2 for adults and one +18. The pools are clean, garbage and glasses from the drinks were cleaned by the hotel staff.
ROOM. Our room was on the second floor, comfortable, beautiful, with decent furniture. In the room free minibar (Pepsi, Fanta, water, beer), hair dryer, el. kettle, cups, tea and coffee bags. The mini bar was replenished every day, there are all toiletries, but nothing was replenished during the week of our stay. I had to use my own soap. The sanitary unit worked properly, there was no sewer smell. Towels were changed daily.
The air conditioner worked properly, but with the balcony doors closed. If the balcony door is not closed tightly, the air conditioner will automatically turn off.
The safe works simply and free of charge.
At first there were problems with WI-FI, it didn’t catch well, it required a password, which they found out at the reception. Then the Internet disappeared for a day - "global problems. " After that, everything worked, and in the room and in the hotel wi-fi was good, but did not catch on the beach.
TV worked fine, modern, large. About 10 Russian channels and the same number of Ukrainian ones.
NUTRITION. In the main restaurant, everything is delicious, they fry fish, chicken, grilled steaks, the choice of dishes is huge.
For breakfast there were a lot of pastries, croissants, pancakes, eggs, omelettes, muesli, jams, cheeses, various nuts, ham, Turkish delight, honeycombs, chocolate paste, dried apricots, figs, sausages. Fruits (peaches, apricots, oranges, bananas, cherries, pears, apples), sugar watermelons, melons are always for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often saw that fruits were taken out of the restaurant on plates to the rooms, no one scolded. You make your own hot sandwiches. There is a lot of meat for lunch and dinner: stew, steamed, and grilled. There was always turkey, grilled chicken and chicken in sauce, veal or tongue. There was also fish, liver, mushrooms, stuffed peppers, dolma. Garnish with noodles, spaghetti, rice, pilaf, french fries or fried potato wedges, mashed potatoes. A lot of dishes of stewed or fried vegetables. Lots of salads, canapes, red fish tartlets, sushi, a variety of pastries, biscuit rolls, cakes, desserts. In the evening, ice cream of 6 types in waffle cones is sure to be served. Many dishes are cooked in front of you on the grill: chicken, meat and fish. All cooks wear gloves. As soon as the food in the tray starts to run out, they immediately bring a new portion. Lots of vegetables. Vegetables lie separately, you collect the salad yourself, if you want, and pour it with various sauces, oils. There are no lines for food. There are no problems with free tables either. The waiters work very quickly, as soon as you sit down, they already ask you what you want from drinks. Someone wrote that Russian-speakers were the last to be approached - they didn’t notice, drinks were brought immediately and several times. Dirty dishes are cleaned with lightning speed, a new tablecloth is immediately laid out and clean cutlery is put in. If someone spilled something, dropped it, scattered it - cleaning is carried out immediately.
We used the Ala Carte restaurant. We chose Mongolian. There was no one to find out and no reviews were found about it and therefore they were not instructed about maintenance. The bottom line is that you yourself put a plate of raw meat: a choice of chicken, turkey, squid, shrimp pasta, noodles and you put a plate of vegetables yourself: tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, corn. On the plates you put a note with the table number and in the same note you indicate the type of sauce: spicy, semi-spicy, sweet or soy (they took semi-spicy sauce and burned it). After that, the Mongol cook cooks them in front of you in a large frying pan. A very unusual sight and very tasty. Liked the restaurant.
ANIMATION. Animation in the hotel is, the animators are trying very hard. How good, I can’t say, we didn’t need it.
HOLIDAYERS. Vacationers are mostly Germans, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Russians, Turks
