wi-fi is good.
The employees are polite, the food is very sufficient. Breakfast may seem monotonous, but no one will be hungry. Lots of baking. Lunches and dinners - many salads, various meats, side dishes, desserts. Fruit - 10 types. Ice cream in the evening. The sea is quite calm and clean. The beach is sand and pebbles.
There are many shops nearby, you can take a walk in a small forest.
Separately, I would like to note the kitchen, every evening there is a grill by the pool, for 7 days the dishes were practically not repeated. The main restaurant has delicious stew, lots of vegetables and side dishes. Good pastries and sweets. Fruits are seasonal. Queues to the restaurant only in the first half an hour and then mostly at dinner. To be honest, I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews about this hotel, I agree that this is not 5, but it corresponds to its price category.
Of the minuses, only weak Wi-Fi, almost does not catch in the rooms, be prepared.
The beach is not cleaned, on the floors on the racks the glasses can stand for days, the hotel itself is tired. There are no refrigerators with water on the territory, they are not in the restaurant either, they are only in plastic sealed cups in the bar from 10.00, they also replenish 1 bottle of 1.5 liters once a day during cleaning (this should be enough for a family of 3 people). Initially, there was no shower gel in the room, only shampoo and 2 small pieces of soap, when after cleaning on the second day no one put anything (although I always leave a tip), after going to the reception they added 2 shampoos, they said that there was no shower gel and will not. Later, after cleaning, soap was not added, the cleaning lady said there was no soap either, offered me more shampoo and showed with her hands that they can wash, it seems that there is no difference for her with what to wash and she has no idea what the consequences can be after such washing, especially for girls and children.
A la carte restaurants did not work, air conditioning did not work on the stuffy floors, it worked only in the rooms. From time to time, something constantly broke: either the air conditioner in the room, then the elevators, then the front door, then again the air conditioner. No grill, no ice cream, no lifeguard on the beach, no entertainment (every day darts at the bar and a game of guess the tune in the evening), no kids club. The territory is tiny (there is a swimming pool, a bar, a cover with a gizlum, two swings, that's the whole territory), there is nowhere to walk. The contingent of the hotel is 80 percent Germans aged 60-80 years (who smoke and drink everywhere from morning to night) and those who immigrated to Germany from post-Soviet countries in the 80s-90s aged 60-80 years, 10 percent is elderly Russians and Ukrainians, 10 percent are Turks, Ukrainians, Russians under the age of 40 with children.
To my question to the Pegasus guide why the hotel is so bad with food, shower gel, soap and beach cleaning, why the air conditioner does not work on the floors, he said: saving coronavirus, to my arguments that the price for the ticket was not economical and that we were a month ago in a hotel nearby 400 meters for the same money and there was plenty of food and the beach was cleaned every morning, A la carte restaurants worked and the room and territory and the beach and entertainment were five times better, the Pegasus guide silently gave the voucher and didn’t even tried to sell me excursions.
Summing up, I can say: this is the worst hotel of the four inexpensive five-star hotels in Alanya, where I was, the hotel does not correspond to either 5 * or 4 *, with a stretch of 3 *, especially for the money that they ask for a ticket to it! ! ! Another circus is the fight in the hotel with the coronavirus, when you come to the reception they demand that you put on a mask, when you ask for masks, they give one in hand, I explained that I have a family and I need more than one mask to really wear them and that they are disposable according to the rules, masks need to be changed every 3 hours, antiseptics on the floors may not be replenished for days, in short, they make it look like, in fact, 90 percent of vacationers spat on everything and did not wear masks.
I don’t know where the hotel got good reviews from, the last reviews on Turpravda, by the way, were 2 years ago, the rest even later, I focus on the reviews before buying a tour and so I got it, so I write my review right away when I arrived. If this hotel had 3 * and the average score according to reviews was 2-4, and the price for a ticket for 3 adults and 2 children for 10 days would be 1000 USD less, then all its disadvantages could be tolerated , people at least knew where and for what money they were going, and from the rest there was a persistent feeling that they had thrown you. In this opinion, all the Russian-speaking people who rested at the hotel during this period were in solidarity with me. In the future I will be more careful when choosing a hotel. Probably good reviews about this hotel were left by people who came to Turkey for the first time in their lives and have never been abroad and they simply have nothing to compare with, or the hotel has deteriorated very badly over the past few years.
Wine white and pink bottled, sour, but common, red - not for everyone. There were few people in the hotel, the Germans were almost leaving, and the main contingent was Russians who did not stray into violent herds, a few Ukrainians and the remnants of peaceful elderly Germans. Therefore, there were no queues for distribution. The staff is polite and attentive. The only misunderstanding occurred in the snack bar, where a man who did not understand a word in all four languages known to me without a mask and gloves grabbed buns and a salad for a hamburger with his bare hands. With the help of the general manager, the situation was resolved. The beer is decent enough. 3 weeks ago in Larisa Phaselis, its quality was worse (and there they served crayfish under it! ) Finishing the topic of food and comparing its quality with the mentioned Tekirovskaya Larisa, I can express my opinion: there it was more and more varied, but in Likus it was tastier...
Beach. Sand, small pebbles at the entrance to the sea. No wonder the elderly Germans love this hotel - it's comfortable to enter the water. But I like the smallest white-shell pebbles, like on Cleopatra Beach in Alanya. There were enough sun loungers for everyone, no one occupied at 6.00 either on the beach or in the pool. Upon arrival, the sea was shaking and the water was unclear for a couple of days, but then it was crystal clear. Fun. Coronovirus, brothers. . . All contact games are prohibited. Darts and exercises-gymnastics, which were held by the charming Ksyusha from Kazakhstan (greetings from Kyiv! ). The tennis court is decent, but there was only one comrade, who was training serves in splendid isolation... For women, right across the road, 300 meters away, there is a huge clothing Grand Bazaar, in which you will find everything. Do not buy into a scam for a free transfer to expensive shops that hotel guides will sell you. You can find everything here and much cheaper. On the right, at the end of the complex there is a food Migros. Crossing the road - a tunnel, at the exit there is a kiosk, where they squeeze out delicious fresh pomegranate juice ($ 1), there are also other fruits.
If you need the most profitable exchange, then looking at the Bazaar, go left until you see the Vodofone pavilion. It's the best rate there. At the hotel, the rate was 7 lira per dollar, in exchange offices 7.35, there 7.5. It is more profitable to take dollars than lira. . . at bazaars and small points 1$=1€. In Migras, you can pay with dollars in small denominations 5-10-20 and change is given in lira, which is quite convenient and at a normal rate. If you want to go to Alanya, take the funicular to the fortress, swim on Cleopatra Beach, then stop right in front of the hotel, 250 meters away. Travel 8 lira. The funicular is 33 lira in two directions, in one - 26. From above, gorgeous views of the whole of Alanya.
Conclusion: I will give the hotel a solid four and my impressions of it are positive. Compact, green and clean area. No need to drag hundreds of meters, but through the tunnels to the sea, which is famous for hotels on the Alanya coast. There are no crowds of people prancing around the restaurant and the beach. There are no wild cries of "Tagiiel" and choral performance of "Victory Day". If you are late for lunch from an excursion, then you can have a hearty snack in a snack bar or gozlum with ayran. No ice cream? You in the hotel would be good and would not be offered. But for real delicious Turkish ice cream made from goat milk, come to Alanya. 5-10 lira. . . Thanks to Turkey and Lykus for a great vacation! Will I return to Lycus? Yes, but when I go to the second circle : ), because we have not yet covered a thousand hotels of the first circle! : )
P. S. Separately, I make a callout for men, lovers of fishing. Travel spinning and you can enjoy your favorite business here. There are at least 2 options: the sea and the Alara River. In the first case, you need a large float and several hooks with a heavy weight for long and medium casting or bombard. Bait baits - loaf, maggots (yes, yes, I took it with me so that my wife would not see : )). Catch - mullet, balloon (local variation of fugu) and all sorts of variations of small coral fish. You might get a garfish. You can try on turntables and small oscillators, such as a castmaster. It is difficult to catch on feeder rigs, stones, hooks... You can go to capes on the left and right. Local fishermen meet there in the morning.
It also makes sense to go to Alara. We managed to catch a few mullets there, although we were counting on a larger catch. Having shoveled a bunch of forums, I managed to find information that you can catch eel and carp there. But they did not cross. . . But there is beautiful nature, rock outcrops, rifts, lush greenery. You can also go to Alara to the mouth (far away, along the beach and it’s not beautiful there) or, bypassing the Grand Bazaar on the left, past the mosque and cemetery (remains on the right), along the road, going down to the greenhouses. Pass them and upstream 50 meters you will run into a rift. On the contrary, a beautiful, large grotto.
Phew and rolled! Sorry for so much buffoonery : )
The rooms are disgusting, quadruple rooms are only suitable for two, but you can get into those that are 2x3 meters, this is not a joke
The food is monotonous and tasteless, a salad with cucumbers and olives, the first is not always the case when there is not enough for everyone. From meat, turkey and chicken... That's actually the whole assortment
I do not advise you to go there, the price is clearly too high, you will pay for a miserable four as for a peterka!
