Amazing holiday in Turkey!
Good afternoon!
We rested in May of this year near the city of Alanya, the town of Mahmutlar. We didn't go to the hotel, because there are annoying crowds, cramped rooms, a sea of screaming children, drunk tourists, etc. We wanted to get a high-quality vacation at a reasonable price. And so it happened : -) My husband and I rented an apartment through our friends, in an agency in Turkey, without intermediaries, the apartment is large, luxurious, European standard, 5 minutes from the sea, stunning mountain views. It was cheap and very good quality. Next time we will go with friends, then the rent will be even cheaper : -) We rented a car, traveled all over Alanya, the sea of beautiful parks, in the evening all Alanya is twined with garlands, it feels like we got into a fairy tale! There are pleasure carriages drawn by white horses! Stunning views at every turn! We went ourselves, saw an old pirate fortress of the 8th century, moreover, a fortress on a mountain, about 300 meters high,
such sensations are crazy, it just takes your breath away when you see all of Alanya and the sea from a bird's eye view! Took hundreds of great photos! Then we went down to the pier and took a ride on a yacht stylized as an old pirate ship! From the sea, the view of Alanya and the fortress is awesome! And we also made a stop there, we were right far into the sea, swimming near the yacht, amazing! The next day we swept to Cleopatra Beach. It is only 6 km from the center of Alanya. It's also a fabulous place! White sand, clear turquoise water, beautiful park nearby! It also turned out a lot of great photos! We also went to fish restaurants on the banks of the Dimchay River. It's right in the mountains, 4 km from Alanya, the mountain air is clean, everything is just immersed in greenery! They cook there perfectly, the fish is freshly caught and the prices are normal, which is very pleasing. The best part is that we did not live in the city of Alanya itself, but in Mahmutlar, this city is also very beautiful,
there are fountains and parks at every step, but there are fewer tourists and there are not many cars, the beaches are excellent, in general, the city is ideal for relaxing, and it’s 7 minutes by car to Alanya itself. We also went to the cities of Side and Aspendos, 40 km. from Alanya, there are ancient Roman amphitheatres, I really liked it! We also visited the dolphinarium, a 20-minute drive from Alanya, we highly recommend families with children to visit it, my husband and I watched the performance of dolphins with delight, you can still swim with them there, so grab a swimsuit : -). And the main thing is to get there without problems, the roads are normal, there are signs. But in principle, for those who are not suitable for renting a car, you can always take a bus, it will even be cheaper. It's a matter of taste. But we really enjoyed these 2 weeks of rest! Wherever they wanted, they went there, no guides and crowds of tourists, they ate when they wanted, there were no problems with cooking, the kitchen is excellent in the apartment, but everything is super with food there,
all fruits and vegetables are fresh and cheap, 20-30 rubles. / kg, but there are a lot of restaurants, the portions are huge and everything is delicious. So I highly recommend, for those who want to have a great rest and like to choose for themselves how to spend their time, rent an apartment in Turkey and relax in a European way! Now we ourselves will only relax like this, hotels are too hectic. We wish you all a great holiday in your beloved Turkey!
