It is not the first year in Turkey. I really like the region of Alanya. We accidentally found the ancient city of Siedra for ourselves, now we go there every vacation. While this is not a tourist place, well, in the sense of organized tourists are not taken there. But a good road was laid to it and part of it was made suitable for tourists. The city is big. The city of the Roman Empire, the time of Jesus Christ. It was finally destroyed by the Seljuk Turks around the 12th-13th century, after which the fortress of Alanya arose. Only a couple of years ago, archaeological research began there, and even then, obviously not at the state level, but by the forces of one of the universities in Turkey. Everything's there. And huge granite columns and Roman cables and much, much more. And best of all, there are no tourists. This city is yours and you will visit it yourself. Gorgeous views, great photos. Abandoned city in the mountains of Turkey among the pines and with sea views. It is difficult to describe all this in words. . . Getting there is very easy. You reach the middle of the village of Kirgicak by public transport (10 lira for two), the village from Alanya towards Gazipasa. There, look for a taxi rank (near the gas station). Taxi to Siedra 40-50 lira, arranges to be taken back in 2-3 hours (there is nothing else to do there). Taxi back 30-40 lira.
