Rested in late May - early June 2011. I'll try to be objective.
The ticket from Turtez cost me $645, and it was its cost that was decisive in my choice.
I can't say that the hotel sucks and you don't need to go here. You can and even need to go here, especially for such money, but you should be prepared for some moments.
The hotel is far from new, the rooms have flaws, starting with plaster crumbling in places and ending with "ugly" plumbing (I lived in a small single room in a two-story building with a balcony just above the beach bar).
The staff is polite, almost all Russian speakers, with the possible exception of the maids. The room was cleaned and towels in the bathroom were changed daily.
The food is tolerable - no one went hungry.
The hotel has practically no territory (in my understanding) - the hotel building itself, a playground around the pool, several areas with tables, a "theater" (animators zone) + a small playground, a tennis court and a beach.

The big plus of the hotel is that it is located on the first line - 50 meters from the sea. The sea is a miracle! Clean, warm! It is the sea that makes you turn a blind eye to all the shortcomings and completely indulge in a beach holiday. For example, next to the "Grand Paradise" there are hotels of a higher class. A couple of times a day, the animator Sanya comes to the beach and gathers the "Grand Paradise" volleyball team : ))) I participated once, but, taking the ball, I fell on my knee in the sand, under which there was a pebble, and tore my skin (as I later I realized that it was necessary to play without fanaticism. ) By the way, about the pebbles - the strip in front of the sea and the seabed is covered with rounded pebbles, although the sunbeds are on the sand.
During my vacation, the main part of the guests were from Russia (Moscow, Yekaterinburg), as well as Ukraine, Belarus (despite the crisis), Kazakhstan (Astana) and there was one couple from Latvia. In a word, "Russo tourist - the image of morality. " One day someone "slid" along the beach - after dinner, many did not find their things on the sunbeds. My beach towel was "taken away" (well, at least my own - I didn't have to pay the hotel).
But despite this, the holiday was a success! Arrived happy and tanned! However, the second time in this hotel is unlikely to return. I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
