What excursions to visit?
I am traveling with my 10 year old daughter. I would like not only to lie on the sea, but to go somewhere. What kind of excursion to go on, so that the daughter would be interesting and not tiring.
I liked the ex.Demre-Mira-Kekova. How long is the journey from Alanya? and is it worth going? Ex.Turkish night, is it interesting?

Demre-Mira-Kekkova from Alanya will be far away. Better from Kemer. And in the Alanya region, it is worth seeing the waterfall and the Manavgat River (arrange trips on a yacht). On a yacht, ride to neighboring Side. In general, in the summer it is better to give preference to boat trips.

Light rafting! Let me just say, it's SAFE. You are put on a large boat with an instructor. Lunch and entertainment included! And emotions, adrenaline - enough for a long time! I have been going rafting since I was 11!!!!
Also a water park. The day itself does not fall out - you swim, sunbathe, but add entertainment to yourself.
Take a tour of Alanya - quite interesting and not far away! =)
Have a good rest!

A Turkish night is hardly necessary for a child. )))

You can also take a yacht (day). Again, the sea, tan, but new places! =)

I advise Pamukkale - you will not regret it. This is a real miracle of the world. There is also a Cleopatra pool where you can swim.

Pamukkale how long is the journey one way?
Wash it away, or I'm wrong.
Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Pamukkale is far from Alanya. You should not go to Turkish Night with a child.
There is a fortress in Alanya that you can see. Beautiful panoramic view, as well as a historical place. After visiting the fortress, you are taken to the factories and then left for 1.5 hours on the main street of Alanya, where the shops are located.
You can also visit Perge / Aspendos - also not far away. Yacht trips, Yacht on the Manavgat River, Rafting, Aquapark.
It all depends on your taste and preferences.
Happy rest!

There is an excursion to orange and banana plantations - the child will be interested, various options for excursions to the mountains, including rafting, well, Manavgat, if there is no water park in the hotel, is also not bad. On foot I advise you to take a walk near the "Red Tower" - very interesting.

In Alanya, you can walk on your own without an excursion. There is a regular bus (1 lira) to the fortress above the city. As for Pamukkale, it’s very far away and in the summer you just don’t want to get off the bus in such heat (it’s inside the country, in a mountainous area, plus the “attraction itself is on a mountain :) By the way, last year there was no water in all the travertines (lakes)! It is already served artificially and it is forbidden to walk on travertines! So the pleasure is half-time :) As for the Cleopatra pool, it's full of people! Plus, not everyone will like it under the scorching sun, it's in the water, where the temperature is also +28, if not more! And even and the ruins in the pool itself, you can get hurt!I recommend that you take a regular minibus on your own and get to Manavgat in 45 minutes (from Alanya - $ 6), and then 10 minutes to Side ($ 1), on the same regular minibus! yourself a free tour - there really is something to see!
Communications are excellent, inexpensive, and there will be nothing to go to all the shops paid by the guides! Personally, we all traveled by ourselves! Have a good rest!

Pamukkale is worth a 2 day trip! That's exactly how I went. Only one nuance - at the beginning of the holiday. Otherwise, you will remove the entire tan with healing mud! How did we do it!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think that we will definitely visit several excursions: in Alanya (survey), on a yacht somewhere, and ...

It is difficult to go on excursions from Alanya (far). Well, if you don’t regret parting with the sea for 1-2 days, then by all means Pamukale, Mirra-Demre-Kekova (to St. Nicholas) I just urge you not to take a tour from the operator in the hotel, this is one and a half times more expensive than in the street agencies. Take your time, take a closer look, on the street only the lazy does not keep a travel agency for excursions. Bargain!!! And yet, on the eve of the trip in advance, order a lunch package at the reception in the afternoon, pick it up before leaving (usually early in the morning). Yes, in the evening, store sandwiches and drinks in plastic bottles with you, because. at lunch, a cup of tea will cost you $1.50. The lunch package is usually meager, and dinner on the way back will be offered purely symbolic. And we had with us!!!

Some excursions are 2 times cheaper on the street, for example, a water park and rafting, it’s better to buy them in secret from the tour operator)))

I am for rafting, excursions to Demre/Mira/Kekova and Pomukkale
