We lived in Neptune, close to the sea and not bad rooms (there is a hairdryer, they clean well). We went on a 2-day excursion "Sahara" - we liked it very much. They themselves went to the port, to the Medina (the old city to the market). If you do not like markets, you can easily walk (min 10 from the hotel) or take a taxi (2 dinars) to go to the Carrefour supermarket. Be sure to try their tea with pine nuts, dates, halva. We also bought cactus jam to understand what it is.
The beach is gorgeous. The only problem with sunbeds - you need to borrow at 7-8 o'clock in the morning, or pay the boys 2 dinars and they will organize a great place for you.
We were not prepared for the fact that banks do not work at the airport at night. So whoever has a night flight, don't count on being able to change their dinars, except that the guys carry luggage at a very indecent rate.
If you had any questions, you could always ask the Russian-speaking Dali, he can be met at the entrance to the restaurant during the day and in the evening.
