We chose a hotel 18+, i. e. without children. We are currently resting there. We were met with national dances and sweets at the entrance, settled quickly. The disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of animation (although it is stated) and discos, it’s boring if you don’t entertain yourself, which we did. In the city center there is a local market - Medina, many purchases were made there, but you need to bargain to the last, the original price is overpriced by 5-10 times!! ! You can get there by wagons, it's cool, they stop on the road, you just need to raise your hand (like we have a taxi). There are also taxis, inexpensive, as soon as it starts, the driver turns on the meter and you pay at the end of the trip according to the meter. On average, about 2-3 dinars come out in the city (the exchange rate is 1 dinar = 22 rubles), that is, it comes out inexpensively. It is interesting to go to Port El Kantau, also by taxi (about 6-7 dinars), drive for 10 minutes (to the left of the hotel, in the opposite direction from the Medina). There are various attractions, musical fountains, very beautiful with illumination. Restaurants nearby are expensive, it's better to eat at the hotel. And for lunch we took coffee at the bar by the pool. There are several discos that are not bad, they were in Bora-Bora (in the open air and next to the hotel, I personally liked it the most, but it is the most expensive, for example, a hookah costs 30 dinars there !!! ! So you need to initially drink in the room or, as we did, near the pool (liquor was bought in Duty Free, alcohol is sold only in the General store, nowhere else, except for cafes and restaurants), and then hang out !! ! Not bad in Samare, great music, cheap prices, but little space inside. Entrance to all discos is free. There are a lot of Europeans, so it's not scary for girls at all (I mean single ones). What I didn’t like was some incomprehensible exclamations and gestures of local teenagers of 16-18 years old, who are found on the sidewalks both during the day and in the evening, not very pleasant. But if you do not pay attention to them, they fall behind quickly. There are a lot of police, so there is order in the city. There are few Russians, mostly Germans, Poles. But we took a last-minute tour with a departure every other day, so it cost us a budget. We went on an excursion to Carthage-Tunisia, expected more, but there are just ruins. Although, for the general development you can go. So, let me summarize. The resort is not cheap, but you need to go there to enjoy the sea and sand.
