We were there in September 2008. A 3 star hotel is ok. Excursions were taken from the hotel guide, where, as we were told, all prices are fixed. Street agencies were not seen. The hotel was only half board.

I tell you with absolute certainty that you won't find better for this price. we traveled with a group of students, we had to save money, went around almost the entire city, looked at all these hotels that tour operators offered us, not one, I’m telling you for sure, not a single hotel stood nearby in terms of price-quality ratio. the hotel was built by the French , not Arabs, the service is correspondingly a cut above. the food is very good (especially if you are not on a diet - for breakfast there are 5 types of amazingly delicious buns, for dinner a variety of homemade sweets, a whole mountain of halva, ice cream !!!!!!) meat fish french fries, pasta, zucchini RGU from vegetables salads everything was just super kusno !!!!!! and by the way, the location of the hotel sooo compares it favorably with others. we have everything you need clubs bars restaurants shops .. in short, something like our Lubyanka in the Arabic style! have a nice holiday marabou cool hotel! I rested 2 years in a row in this hotel, I really like everything. The rooms are modest, but last year another building was built there))) and you can stay there for a fee at the reception (I don’t know exactly how much, but they didn’t say much) in the rooms in this building are plasma and everything is as it should be, they won’t offend you)) I love Tunisia, I want to come back again and again and maybe 3 times in a marabout))
