You have to swim in Turkey. And the sea is clean and the atmosphere is good...
What's wrong with Icmeler?
аватар yla_ru
lazy_person here is your review well, so on topic)
it seems that apart from Turkey and Egypt there is nowhere else to go)
аватар ollennka
I am also for Turkey ...
аватар lazy_person
yla_ru Well, you yourself write that you like to swim. So love the clean, transparent sea. What is the sea in Tunisia? Is it possible to compare with Icmeler, Chamyuva .. Oludeniz. In order not to spoil your vacation, Turkey is the best. And you can go to the Costa Brava, for example, to some Tossa de Mar, where for a sun lounger 6 euros ...
аватар yla_ru
lazy_person The point is that I don't feel like going to Turkey for the tenth time, I haven't been to Tunisia. I'm not asking for advice on where to go, but is it true that the sea is dirty)
If I wanted to clarify which region of Turkey to go to, then I would have asked exactly that. Thanks for understanding;)
аватар lazy_person
yla_ru Well, of course. I have been going to Turkey since 1996, sometimes twice a season... this year I have already visited Kemer. And I want to go again. In Tunisia and does not pull.
аватар EduardL
Hello, this is not exactly true. In view of the fact that one of the main features of Tunisia is "thalassotherapy", that is, treatment with water and algae, most beaches have sandy entrances, and therefore more algae than on pebble beaches. I have been to Tunisia twice. As a rule, during high tides, algae is washed ashore, tractors and trucks immediately drive up and quickly clean everything up in a day. But still pleased with the pool with sea water in the hotel. According to reviews, the least problems with algae are in the resorts of the island of Djerba. And so - Tunisia is not bad at all. The level of service is much higher than in Turkey and Egypt, because 60 years ago Tunisia was a colony of France. In any case - good luck!

And my 5 kopecks on the topic ... if you choose a vacation in Djerba in Tunisia
a question for EduardL (I think the author will be interested too) then, nevertheless, which hotel to choose on the island of Djerba? there are not too many reviews.
аватар EduardL
Everything depends on the wallet. To whom give a minimum of Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Thalasso 5 *, someone is satisfied
Diar Yassine 3*
аватар Gelenka_1
EduardL yes, here you are right from the wallet ...., namely, by the sea and the beach?

I have been abroad many times, but I have never seen better Marhaba palas (do not confuse with Marhaba beach) in Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia, believe me!
Here is my review: https://www.turpravda.ua/tn/port_el_kantaui/Marhaba_Palace-h9485-r314977.html
1. Purity
2. Super service.
3. The cleanest beach (no entry in slippers - leave on a special shelf).
4. Great menu.
5. Pool with sea water.
6. Port El Kantaoui itself, the youngest and cleanest (really!) resort, was built not so long ago, exactly 40 years ago from scratch in the homeland of the president and by his decree!
THE BEST I HAVE NEVER SEEN!
And the price is very reasonable!
аватар Gelenka_1
Thanks a lot! Read and like the review.
The first three points are very important, as for me.
By the end of the season, I think, there will not be that cleanliness and service ... although ... everything can be, they do not have a season all year.
And it's a pity that the hotel is not on the island of Djerba
аватар EduardL
Djerba - prices are 30-50% higher! Why is this for you?

EdwardL
Liked the review.
They wanted to go the year before last, by analogy with the author of the question.
But there was a "little mess" and our TA dissuaded.
аватар Bovik
Sorry, not a "question", a question.
аватар Pachok
The sea is muddy, jellyfish and algae. The beaches are public, with obsessive hucksters and impudent local mothers who, without a moment's hesitation, will seat wet children on your towels.
The only country where I swam in the pool instead of the sea.
They wrote correctly above: swimming is to Turkey, and I will add Greece.
аватар lazy_person
Yes, everything is fine, except for the main thing. All reviews smoothly bypass the topic of purity and transparency of the sea. There are even slippers that are left at the entrance to the beach (the beach is clean), but nothing about the sea ...
аватар yla_ru
Thanks everyone for the feedback! But, as lazy_person noted about the transparency of water, IN SEPTEMBER, the topic is practically not disclosed))
As an option, I also think Albania or Bulgaria ...
аватар Pachok
If this is the choice, Albania is better.
аватар Gelenka_1
EduardL *Djerba - prices are 30-50% higher! Why do you need this?*
o.Dzherba - discussed above, if you choose the cleanliness of the beach and the sea in Tunisia. It's definitely not worth flying to Tunisia overseas. Praise only thalassotherapy and service.
аватар Gelenka_1
In Bulgaria, with the sea in September, the same sad story. But in Albania, the Adriatic Sea is excellent and in September it will already warm up enough :)
And Albania, relatively recently, is developing as a resort - it has not deteriorated yet :))) Although we have not been there yet, we were interested.

I have rested in Tunisia several times, I like it more in Hammamet in the Yasmine Hammamet area. There were no algae or jellyfish. And the beach is a private hotel. And obsessive traders are full of them in Turkey and Egypt
The sea is normal there, and in Turkey there are dirty beaches and a dirty sea near the beaches, for example Ozkaymak Kemer Marina 5 * there is a very dirty sea because of the yachts.
аватар alex45
And I would also think about Croatia and Montenegro in September. That's where I didn’t find cleaner water, though still in Italy, but that’s another topic.
аватар ollennka
I have a deplorable experience of the Adriatic in Albania - the water was very dirty, however, it rested in July. Ionic is better.
аватар yla_ru
alex45 regarding Montenegro, I agree 100% 2 years ago I was there, traveled almost the entire coast. Only positive emotions left this country, as well as the gentle sea. I remember fondly.
аватар lazy_person
Turkey, the center of Kemer ... all 18 days, day after day, this is the water.
