I will be banal: Turkey has turned into the Crimean coast but with the best service, no matter where you throw your compatriots everywhere; Tunnis is a separate story, the African coast, exotic, and there are places (hotels) where you will not find a single Russian speaker, the audience is solid Germans, French, Italians, and the level of hotels is in order - thanks to the networks that opened their representative offices there. You choose, but as a person who has visited Turkey once and three times in Tunnis, I can’t compare these resorts!

As for jellyfish: we usually rest in October - we met once, and even then a little, choose the southern coast.

I completely agree with zorro76, for the most part, jellyfish were never met in July, in September in Hammamet
аватар tyrist26
we were a week in July in Tunisia, Sousse, there were no jellyfish, don’t believe it. I would advise you to go to Tunisia, it’s not Turkey at all, it’s a different level. in Tunisia. There are such African-style disco-just stunned (if you wish, you can beat the drums yourself))). Tunisia is supper !!!! And the prices are absolutely adequate in the clubs, you can feel confident.

That year I was in Tunisia, this year I was in Turkey. To be honest, I liked Tunisia more. Although, these are completely different resorts. If you want to drive, travel around the Sahara, definitely Tunisia. And just relax - Turkey. My opinion.

I don’t even know what to add to the above ..... Tunisia is SUPER!!! although, in terms of service, you need to choose a hotel well so that you are not disappointed (even taking into account what 5 * chooses). I advise Yasmine, there is where to take a walk, although the beach of all hotels is across the road

And we were in Sousse (Tunisia) in September 2008. There weren't many jellyfish. I didn't like the city itself, it was dirty. But on the other hand, I received a lot of impressions from excursions around the Sahara and the cities of Tunisia.
аватар zorro76
I agree with katerina00 Yasmine is just super, but how beautiful is the promenade that separates the hotels and the beach in the evening!!!

They themselves wanted to relax in Tunisia. Beaches of extraordinary beauty (according to reviews) BUT the presence of jellyfish in the sea discouraged all desire. Flying to another country ;)

We rested in July 2008, Monastir. There was not a single jellyfish.

As for me, you need to relax at least once in Turkey and Tunisia. Turkey (if a good 5 * hotel) is more "Europeanized", Tunisia is more exotic, especially if you go on a 2-day excursion to the Sahara. We spent the night in a bungalow in the middle of date oases!!! Unforgettable! They drank palm juice. It was last September, the hotel Le Sultan 4 *, the hotel "without Russians", mostly French and Italians, the level is Turkish 5 *.

I constantly travel to Tunisia (I have not been to Turkey, but I hear from friends that it is more fun in Tunisia). As for jellyfish, I was in Tunisia in April, May, the summer months and September, I never encountered jellyfish. The only thing at the beginning of September on wild beaches are small and biting fish.

Definitely Turkey is better. No "beaches of extraordinary beauty" in Tunisia. Ordinary beaches, as in Epatoria or Feodosia, do not even reach the South Coast, and even public ones. Jellyfish were observed in July in such a number that it was impossible to swim in the sea. There are really good hotels in Tunisia, especially those with more stars and really few "Russians". But you will not find any special entertainment in the hotel. In Tunisia, they didn’t go to the city for fun, I can’t say anything about this. Turkey has fun clubs and cool discos.
аватар tyrist26
In Tunisia, indeed, all the clubs and discos in the city, so you need to choose a hotel closer to the city center and places of entertainment. I rested in Sousse, the Marabou hotel is the best hotel. to have fun. The hotel is located in the city center, but at the same time you do not see anything that is happening in the city until you leave its territory. The territory of the hotel is cool - you can see my review of this hotel in "Turpravda". Walk 5 minutes to the beach, to disco and clubs in the same way. The clubs are super in Sousse!!! Cool disco!!! A lot of young people!!!! "Ours" are very, very few in the clubs - we did not meet anyone for a whole week in Sousse. Entrance to the clubs is free, except for one club, Bora Bora, but even there the price is affordable. The city of Sousse is very suitable for a fun-filled holiday. The city itself is really not very clean, but this is all compensated by the fact that you feel far away from Ukraine. This is not Turkey. where you feel at home. Yes, in principle, and in terms of price, Tunisia and Turkey differ significantly, but we did not feel sorry for a single penny spent on vacation. There were 3 of us and everyone was 100% satisfied with the rest.

We were also in Marabou. The hotel is on the first line and of course not 5 minutes, at most 2 minutes, and you are on the beach. We also really liked the hotel, for 3 * stars, not very bad. But Tunisia is definitely more expensive than Turkey.
аватар zorro76
Because Turkey and Egypt are one, and Tunisia. Morocco is very different, and the prices are very different.
And the one who considers himself a real tourist will never compare Turkey and Tunnis - because they are completely different cultures, resorts, countries, continents, etc.
Turkey itself, Tunnis itself, and you need to visit both countries to really appreciate both :)
аватар tyrist26
I completely agree with you - these are incomparable things - Turkey and Tunisia. Tunisia is certainly more expensive, but it's worth it. And you need to visit everywhere and not only in Tunisia and Turkey)))
аватар zorro76
turist26 I also advise Morocco - it's just a fairy tale! What is worth seeing the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains! :))) And in Tunisia, not only the mainland, but also visit the paradise island of Djerba (there is always sun, white sand, azure sea, palm trees and even flamingos)
аватар tyrist26
cool, I already want to go there ....... zorro76 - I see a lot where you have been and seen, young lady
аватар zorro76
see email :)
аватар katerina00
Question to zorro76 :) - please tell us in which city in Morocco you have been and what hotel you would recommend. And also, from which tour operator :) Thank you!!!
аватар zorro76
the resort in Morocco is practically the only one, it is Agadir (a cheerful and colorful bay with hundreds of hotels), such a town of vacationers, but you can probably look for other resorts, and for me it’s better to live in Agadir and definitely go on excursions to Casablanca and Marrakech. The hotel where they lived is called Agadyr Beach Club 4 * - not chic, but a solid four. And I went from Fairy, if you are from Ukraine.
аватар katerina00
thanks for the info! Were you satisfied with Fairy?
аватар zorro76
Yes!
аватар burtsev_ilya
You visit both there and there - only then can you decide where it is better for you!
For me personally, Tunisia is much more interesting, but Turkey is better developed in terms of tourism - although I PERSONALLY FOR MYSELF do not consider it a plus.

If you want nightlife, European service and cuisine, no language barrier - welcome to Turkey; if you want to enjoy a white sandy beach (not pebbly like on the South Coast or in some resorts in Turkey), swim in the warm clear sea (again, unlike Evpatoria and Feodosia) and still smell the Sahara - a direct road to Tunisia. You can see my reviews - there are both from there and from there.
аватар 3tonua
If it is possible to add the option of Morocco to Tunisia and Turkey, then it is better to fly to Morocco, because the sea is the sea, and the ocean is the same ocean;) - the impressions are completely different. In addition to the resort Agadir, they go to Essaouira, but hardly anyone will offer a tour there - this is the mecca of windsurfers and parasurfers from all over the world due to the constant average and strong wind. There were only 2 good chain hotels in Agadir in 2007: the French Sofitel and the Spanish Iberostar, which are further away from the city center, the rest of the hotels that make our tourists happy are average. Best of all, in terms of prices and service, the Poles have Rainbow Tours - the Kyiv office on Gorky.
аватар 3tonua
And if you categorically choose Turkey or Tunisia regardless of money, then it’s better to take Tunisia with the Sahara, Franco-African residents and other fun now - after all, it’s exotic. And you will still have time to go to Europeanized Turkey many times. ;) She's closest to us.
аватар 3tonua
For jellyfish beaches, choose a hotel with real reviews (and not only Russian-speaking tourists), because. there are hotels that do not know about algae or jellyfish, but somewhere at a certain time it will cause algae and the service is not very good. Arabs are Arabs ;) Insheallah, as they say.
