Please HELP to choose a hotel!!!
Good day to all! Help, please, with the choice of a hotel in Tunisia! We want to fly as a family: me, wife and daughter 5 years old. We were already in Turkey and Egypt. This year, my wife wants to go to Turkey again (shopping :) ), and I want to go to Egypt (the Red Sea under water is SUPER :)) - we agreed on Tunisia :). I have been choosing hotels for two years thanks to the reviews of people on this site, I hope for help even now. We need a hotel with normal food, a more or less normal beach and up to 2000 USD. for family. We kindly ask you to write to REAL tourists, not hotel agents! (Turkey was enough for me ..: ()
A BIG thank you in advance to everyone!
P.S. I can answer questions about the hotels Green Fugla Beach 4 (Alanya, Turkey) and Albatros Aqua Blue 4 (Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt) if anyone is interested. My review of Sharma is on the site.

I would like to go to Turkey! I understand your wife's love for this country! But if the thirst for discovering new countries has overcome, then here are some considerations: Tunisia as a beach country is not very good for me. And as an excursion - there is something to see for a change. From the good: 1. A wonderful 2-day excursion to the desert. I never thought that the desert could be so beautiful! 2. The ruins of Carthage. 3. Bardo Museum. From the bad: 1. Algae, constantly nailed to the shore. 2. The staff's focus on tips. Even if you rest on the All incl. system, you will constantly be forced to "gold the pen". Gild - they will serve at the highest level, no - complete ignore! Regarding hotels: look at Orient Palace, Sousse (on the website: http://www.turpravda.ua/tn/suss/Orient_Palace-h12303.html). The hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious, the first line and the prices are moderate. Personally visited. The review is on the website.

Dear svbir! Thank you very much for your advice! I might have agreed to Turkey, but joint "voluntary-compulsory forced marches" for shopping get me in my native Kyiv! On vacation, I want peace, quiet and a swim! Plus, the memory of Turkey is overshadowed by the relatively cold sea (end of June 2011) and the somewhat sloppy attitude of the staff to their duties and sanitation in principle :(. By the way, this is not only my remark! Reading the reviews of other tourists from near lying 4* hotels, I've noticed that this phenomenon is everywhere!Don't want to risk the health of a little bit...Although, if anyone can recommend a REALLY GOOD hotel in Turkey, I would be VERY grateful!!!

I support svbir. About the pros and cons. Everything is true. We also did not like the beach option very much. Tours are another matter. For comparison - in Turkey and Egypt were five times. One in Tunisia. And there is no more desire. Everything you wanted to see. Were in Marabou 3 * in Sousse. The beach is good. Your own little water park.

Good afternoon! I was in Monastir in Tunisia in June 2012 with my daughter 8 years old. I liked the Carribian world Monastir 4 * hotel. Nice large territory (21 hectares) many pools, very good animation, kids club is also on the level (daughter almost never saw :) ) It is very important that there are a lot of Russian-speaking staff!!! (since many complain that they get into good hotels, but no one speaks Russian and animation and all communication is in Arabic, French and German !!!) the beach is honestly, so-so, small .. but there are 3 shopping centers nearby with reasonable prices (this is for shopping) and, in principle, both Sousse and Monastir are not far away, because. getting into the market is not a problem. There is really something to see, the country is beautiful.

As for the choice of hotel and place of rest, read my thoughts in the review.

I enjoyed reading your review again. It is especially well written in the comments about the Sahara and Paris. Respect!!! We also have the most vivid impressions from the same excursions as you. That's why you can go to Tunisia.
