We went to Tunisia by accident. 128 tyr. for four (half on credit). Hit Fortune.
What I want to say right away: we are an unpretentious people. A few days before the departure were very nervous, as "Anex" could not confirm the flight to Turkey, then demanded to pay extra for Tunisia. That is why we went with the mood that we will enjoy every moment spent there.
Check in:
We settled in pretty quickly. 10 dollars in the passport were accepted with the words "Thank you". At the reception, the woman speaks quite tolerably in Russian, the stern-looking man also speaks a little. A young guy with glasses does not communicate in Russian. I’ll warn you right away: in Tunisia they will take a tax on tourism from you : ) They took about 1.200 rubles in total from the four of us. Checked in with a porter. That is, he brought to the room, told everything, did not hint at a tip. Within an hour they brought us two more beds, added towels.
Rooms:
We understand that all rooms in the hotel - with balconies. They say there is an old fund and there is a new one. The old fund is the third building (in which we lived), the new one is the second. We saw the numbers of the second building with one eye. They really are - with a large plasma on the wall, modern glass doors to the balcony. They say there is a shower. But we didn't complain either. We had a bath, a small TFT TV on the wall, where there was even TNT (but we didn't watch it). Soft beds, dim light, central air conditioning (more than enough). Exit to the balcony through wooden doors, which were closed with a latch.
View from the balcony - to the courtyard with a disco. It was noisy at night. But the view is beautiful. Wooden furniture, carved. Yes, it could be noted that the bath is peeling, the shower holder does not hold, the screws are not tightened somewhere, the drain in the bathroom does not work well. But these are such trifles. Entrance to the room with a digital card, which is inserted into the pocket (and only after that the electrical network inside, including the conder, works). There is a pay safe. Wi-Fi sometimes even finishes on the balcony, so we sometimes sat on chairs on the balcony with a table.
Food:
That's what we were delighted with - it's the food. We just ate. Yes, by the end of the tenth day, the food began to become boring, but there was always a variety. There were crabs, fried fish, many types of side dishes, always pizza, donuts in the morning, all kinds of pickles, yogurt, two types of soup, of which one soup is the national chorba (I ate only that). It was always possible to take white-rose-red wine, beer, sprite-cola-fanta in the restaurant. There were always grapes, watermelon, melon, they gave peaches, plums, even apples. Sweets are top notch. Five days in a row there was ice cream. Some of the tables were outside - sometimes they dined there. Cute cats darted under the tables. Yes, sometimes (rarely) there were not enough places, but the locals tried to deal with this issue quickly.
Animation:
Above all praise. The animation team did a great job. All day. And water polo, and yoga, and gymnastics. And messed around with the kids. The evening program was worked out for the whole. There was even a water show (reminds me of our "Neptune Day"). And they themselves are magicians, and yogis, and fakirs, and singers, and acrobats. And they treat children very gently and with a smile. In general, to all of them a huge thank you and RESPECT! They are just GREAT!
Wi-Fi:
Free. There is always one in the lobby, but it doesn't always work. But we had enough.
Pools:
The main pool is not very big, but it was enough for all of us. He is very warm. There is a cool indoor pool (but who needs one? : )) There is a paddling pool for the kids. VERY attentive, polite and responsible lifeguards. Sun loungers and mattresses are free. Yes, sometimes there were not enough of them and I had to wake up at 7 in the morning and stomp to take the best places (life hack! ). There are towels that can be taken for a deposit (standard - the deposit changes to a card, the card - to towels). ATTENTION: change cards for collateral ahead of time. Not before leaving, otherwise they may not change. They have a limited turnaround time.
Beach:
To the beach, stomp about 7 minutes along a not very clean street. But we didn't give a damn. Once every 45 minutes, a train takes you there. Sometimes, for the sake of interest, they also rode. The beach itself is not very big, umbrellas, sun loungers and mattresses are free. At peak times, there were sometimes not enough places. Well, almost back to back. Very vigilant lifeguards. In front of our eyes, a drunken man was pulled out of the water. The sea itself is very warm. The entrance is sand. But dirty from algae, all sorts of garbage still sails. One day there were jellyfish - a black circle with a fringe. They split like nettles. I got it. The beach has free sodas, beer and wine. Constantly roam and offer a parachute, a banana, a pill. But we didn't ride.
All inclusive:
Somehow the guide told our tourists that if Tunisians knew how much Russians eat, they would never have made an all-inclusive program. Of the alcoholic beverages were: beer (very tolerable), white-pink-red wine, sprite-cola-fanta-tonic, gin, rum, whiskey, booze (local moonshine-vodka). They poured it into glass, plastic, and cardboard cups. Freshly squeezed juices were made for a small fee.
Cities:
Half an hour to Monastir in one direction, half an hour to Sousse in the other. Bus number 52. Stop right next to the hotel. They go every half hour. The fare is 0.66 dinars (approximately 14 rubles). From the hotel to the left - Sousse, to the right - Monastir. Go to the end. (“Medina” - both there and there - this is the old city). Sousse has a very busy market. But Sousse is smaller and dirtier. Medina is bigger and cleaner, but the market there is not happy. We enter the bus from behind, there is a cashier, who usually speaks good Russian and tells us where to get off. Be sure to go to the city in bracelets, we also took our passports with us. The locals are very friendly. The market is calling, but no aggression.
Tours:
We didn’t go ourselves, but people were in the zoo, in the Sahara, in three cities. Not enthusiastic, but they say it's interesting.
General impression:
Friends, we got high all 10 days. We rested in the shade of palm trees in this stunning green area. We dragged ourselves from the hot sea. We gorged ourselves on food and admired the work of the animators. Thank you Neroli for this vacation.

about the country first: I heard about Tunisia as a poor and dirty country, but curiosity got the better) So, we liked the country, if you don’t lie belly up all the vacation, then the vacation can become quite eventful and memorable. Yes, there is garbage, but it's not dirt, but bottles... candy wrappers . . and most of them, I'm sure, are left by our tourists. Surprisingly, Tunisia has very good roads and well-mannered drivers, no one does bezique on the roads. taxis are not expensive, but they can ride both on the meter and take you a long way on purpose, or without it if you agree on a fixed price.
We rode in Suss and Monastir to the store, when we wanted a delicious beer, a taxi within 7 dinars. you can also take a taxi to the zoo, the taxi driver will be waiting for you, at least 2, at least 3 hours, as agreed. In general, you feel safe, there are many posts with machine gunners on the roads, in the capital there are also at every intersection. I advise you to visit the excursion "Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia", "Colosseum" in El Jem. Of course, it's hard to walk in the heat, but it's worth it. Sit boo said forever in my heart, if you like photos, then you are definitely there. we took pictures on every corner....and the view....
Be vigilant always and everywhere. go with a calculator and double-check everything.
even the ATMs there are cunning, they do not give out the entire amount at once, in the hope that you will leave to count the money and after some time the balance will come out. maybe it was an isolated case, but after so many attempts to cheat us, I already wrote down the ATM in the ranks of scammers.
Will we fly to Tunisia again? Of course yes! we haven't seen everything yet
We read good reviews and decided to go to this hotel.
I must say right away that we did not build high expectations, we understood that the hotel would be very simple, the main thing for me is cleanliness and good food, that's all we were waiting for.
But it was not there)
It all started with the reception, where the impudent employee who settled us, who, by the way, also deals with currency exchange, asked 20 bucks for a good room, to which my husband said that we would first look, and only then we would thank you if you liked it. The room was standard, on the 2nd floor overlooking the courtyard. The toilet was leaking, the water in the sink didn’t drain for hours, we all handed it over to that cunning employee at the reception, when he began to hint that it was time to pay him) so if you go to this hotel, don’t pay anything to anyone !!!!!!!! ! the same insolent bad person tried to cheat us several times when exchanging currency, and begged for money supposedly for some kind of maid, supposedly to help her) if you argue with him, he also starts to behave aggressively, throws everything))) one laugh)
service: It is not there))) not at all) when you check into the room itself, no one takes you, maximum to the elevator (which on the first day scared us to death)
in the restaurant, the waiters do everything from under the stick, if you start to make complaints, they pretend that they do not understand you.
number: about antique furniture, I read everything before and it was not a surprise for me, for me the main thing is cleanliness, as I said, which was not (the floors were washed every day, but this is smearing dirt on the floor, there is no other way to call it) plumbing just wiped, faucets in stains and stains. The towels are very worn and yellow. The room is standard but not cramped. A long corridor with a large closet, mini-fridge, large balcony.
outside the territory of the room, in the corridors of the hotel itself, it’s just tin) on the floor the carpet is megadirty, in huge spots....stink . . sewerage.
food: varied, but very fatty and specific. I can’t say that the food is not tasty, very tasty) but it just floats in fat) we puzzled over what to feed the children, for 11 days they ate only fruits and sweets (poor things ((there is no food suitable for children, even pasta... they were filled with oil (no porridge, no soups either. I also want to add about dirty dishes) I had the complete feeling that no one washed them, but simply wiped them with a napkin. But taking into account all this, I want to assure you that none of our family has never been poisoned, which is surprising)
beach: I read that outside the hotel there is garbage and the sea also leaves much to be desired, but the sea was not so important for us, the children love the pool, which by the way was very clean.
I won’t say that the sea is dirty, in Anapa it’s 100 times worse) I was stopped by jellyfish, now it’s such a time that they are everywhere (the sand on the beach is very cool, sticky)
There were not enough sun loungers on the beach, as well as by the pool. We got up early and took our seats.
I would go to this hotel with my friends or sister) to have fun and entertain myself) the children are also bored there, I read in the reviews about super animation) where is it ?? ? after 8 pm a little dancing and that's it?
we flew with Azur Air, before departure, I also read reviews about them that were not very good, we were ready for flight delays. But everything went just fine. We flew on time, the planes are very comfortable, who wrote about the small distances between the seats? my husband and I are above 175 and everything is fine. fed very well. friendly flight attendants) the pilot told us everything about what we were flying there) if you are cold, they will give you blankets) well done! Just returned from vacation, four of us went: two couples. Flew Anex tour, Azur airline. No complaints, everything is on time, clearly, the transfer is comfortable. On the plane they offered drinks and lunch boxes (salami sausage, president melted cheese, bun, back plus hot and cake). In general, I did not like Tunisia, a very dirty country.

In general, I did not like Tunisia, a very dirty country.
As for the hotel. There is absolutely nothing to do outside the territory, there is one hotel and unfinished houses nearby, it is 15 km to go to the city, a taxi costs about 10 dinars, initially the cost is higher, you have to bargain. The hotel area is green, clean, the pool is small but good, there are not enough sunbeds. Also on the territory there is a hookah bar (I can’t say anything about the quality), you can play air hockey and billiards (for a fee, 1 dinar). Animation is poor, monotonous, uninteresting. The rooms leave a lot to be desired. Plumbing that looks either dirty or worn out, the floors are made of street tiles, everything is very old, there is practically no lighting, the bed consists of two beds pushed together, the TV is small, but it shows well, plus there is TNT. There are queues to the stations in the restaurant, there is a catastrophic lack of seats, the waiters are untidy, in dirty clothes, the tables are dirty, the floors are dirty, but the most unpleasant thing is dirty dishes, greasy, with leftover food. Devices that have fallen on the floor are given to people, fallen fruits are also collected back into the common basket. Food is transferred with bare hands. In principle, there was something to eat, there were delicious dishes, very good desserts. There is a long queue at the bar, they give no more than two glasses in one hand, glasses no more than 0.2 ml.
The beach specifically at this hotel can be seen that they clean it, outside it is dirty. Lots of algae, swimming is not very pleasant. Loungers seem to be enough. The bar is not great. On the beach they offer riding on cheesecakes, bananas, etc. , you have to bargain.
Were on excursions.
I liked diving, but in fact the dive was not 40 minutes, but somewhere around 25. They didn’t feed.
Fishing. They promise fishing for tuna, in fact they caught tiny dorado. The declared number of people was 4-5, there were 9 plus two escorts, the boat is very small for such a number of people. They gave fruits and drinks.
Historical excursion Carthage - Sidi Bou Said - Tunisia. In general, I liked it. There was little time for a walk in Tunisia, we didn’t have time to go to the medina, we only walked along the main street. We had a good lunch at the restaurant.
There are a lot of children in the hotel, the rest is not for young people. Rather suitable for a more mature generation and sooooo unassuming tourists.

Hello. I always appreciate reviews. Help. And I also write.
Visited Tunisia for the first time. Before that, I have been traveling around the world for 20 years.
Vacationing with my daughter.
For 10 days / 9 nights tour with departure from St. Petersburg.
We flew with Azur on a Boeing, in which there are 2 + 4 + 2 seats in a row. 4 hours in a hell of a plane, where a table opens only if you are no larger than 48 sizes and 160 cm tall. The rest is simply impossible. For the first time, it was simply impossible to somehow change the situation ...We calmed down. Forgot..
Before customs, fill out immigration cards in English (make sure that the card consists of two parts. 1 is taken at the control there, 1 back). Tunisians are in no hurry.
The road from the airport took 15 minutes. In my practice, this is a record.
In fact, the hotel is not in the city, but in a suburban tourist area. Unlike Turkey, for example, there is simply nowhere to leave the hotel. At best, wastelands and salt lakes (read puddles). At worst, they're just landfills.
This is a minus. The advantage is that the territory is well and preferably guarded and no one will enter the hotel without bracelets. Security also helps to scare arrogant taxi drivers who practice adding a few dinars to the bill at the end and menacingly demand a new amount.
Taxi info:
1) agree on the cost of the trip upon boarding and pay immediately. Save money and nerves. Although I only got one once. The rest of the taxi drivers were very friendly. 2) the normal price from the hotel to the center of Monastir is 5 - 6 dinars.
3) if more than 2 people get into a taxi, then the cost immediately increases to 7-8 dinars per car.
4) the cars in the taxi depot are old, dirty and dusty. Normal we did not come across, even if you call through the reception.
Let's go back to the hotel.
Pros:
The room has everything you need except hair balm. You need to bring your own or buy a local one.
There is a supermarket on site.
Prices are too high, but you can even lower the remaining dinar (money cannot be taken out of the country).
Nice and clean outdoor pool.
Enough sunbeds for everyone
Beach towels
Very good food. Very tasty and varied. The assortment includes fish, beef, offal, chicken, lamb, turkey, squid, crabs, fresh and varied vegetables, a lot of fruits: already in May, watermelons, melons, peaches, plums, apricots, oranges . . Pasta will always be made with you, pizza, etc. For lunch and dinner, there is ice cream. The grill is sometimes open for dinner on the terrace.
The breakfasts are big. Hearty (potatoes, vegetables, baked or stewed sausages, all kinds of cuts, fresh vegetables), all kinds of eggs, donuts, pancakes, pastries, all sorts of muesli and cereal, etc.
Alcohol in the hotel is only local. Besides the wine is good. New cocktails every day. Firm Neroli and Mojito are especially successful for boys.
About the staff:
Basically just great.
They clean well, a lot of security, technicians, gardeners, waiters . . All issues are resolved very quickly.
The special value of the hotel - animators. Young international team. Very attentive to guests of all ages. I don't like stupid games and contests. I can't say anything about the program from this area. . I liked the sports component: beach volleyball by the sea. And in the hotel - water polo, aqua aerobics, yoga, step, darts, every day they learn a new dance like zumba or cha-cha-cha ..
Everyone who wants to sign up and everyone gets to know each other very quickly and make friends. Generally a very friendly atmosphere in the hotel.
I still don’t understand how waiters remember guests. But any phrase
or a joke and when they meet you again they will remind you . . Keep in mind. Maintain good relations with waiters and bartenders and then the restrictions on the number of glasses in one hand will not apply to you ..
But there is one minus and I must warn you: my daughter was deceived when exchanging currency at the reception. They missed exactly half. I noticed within half an hour and the money was returned. After talking with other guests of the hotel, it turned out that this was not a one-time incident. Always a tall curly employee. I don't know the name. Be carefull.
And 1 more unpleasant moment. Upon arrival, the Anex tour guide distributed the price list for the tour. After 5 days, I went to buy a trip on a yacht and he already used a form with other prices, 5 dinars more expensive. Not great money, but unpleasant.
In general, you need to bargain with Tunisians, lower the price by 2-3 times and pay immediately. Then the agreements don't work.
You can only get to the nearest sights on your own, and so, except for the guide, you can’t buy excursions anywhere.
Souvenirs:
I fly with an empty suitcase, I return with a full one. Always)
From Tunisia it makes sense to bring:
Olive oil. Excellent and cheap.
Buy virgin oil, acidity is not more than 0.8%.
Square dry deodorant. It smells strongly, but there are different flavors. I took it for souvenirs. It turned out to be a great thing. From the smell of sweat from the feet, it also helps a lot as the aromatization of the shoe cabinet too.
Dates. Incredibly fresh and delicious.
Cheese in the range is cheap and tasty.
Nutella type chocolate hazelnut spread, but local. The taste is the same, the price is great.
Spices, especially saffron.
Care products for hair, face and body with clay, on the labels the clay is designated "tfal". Shampoo fly away.
Ignore the dumb labels on Tunisian cosmetics. The country is 15 years behind in advertising and promotion, but the quality is excellent!
Leather products are cheap, but smell of camel meat, rough dressing and bright colors. If it suits your style, then ok.
Perfume.
Local ceramics, chasing, desert rose.
Camel wool bedspreads.
The rest can be bought anywhere.
And in the above, there is a clear national flavor.
Tours:
We ourselves went to Sousse, there is nothing to do there at all. The Monastir Center is very painterly and is concentrated within walking distance. It's great to walk there for half a day.
In both cities from the hotel there is a 52 bus for 1 dinar per person, or a taxi 6 dinars per car for 1-2 people and a couple of dinars more for the company. Comfortable and of course faster than the bus.
We went to the zoo. To the Sousse bus station by taxi from there by minibus. Excursions are 2.5 times cheaper. Cute and can feed almost everyone from giraffe to kangaroo.
We wanted to, but did not go to the Sahara, so the bus of the group from our arrival was taken hostage. They held me for 3 hours, but they let me go. Some demon spending is not radical, thank God. After this incident, we did not take risks.
The only excursion we bought was a yacht trip. The yacht was pirated, the animation team was wonderful, and there was a fakir and a yoga show . . Dancing. Funny.
For drinks, only water is included. Food salad, roll, fried small fish, well, you don’t go there for food. Nice to walk around and take pictures.
The last tip is to protect your skin generously for the first days and do not burn for more than 15 minutes. In the shade, too, a tan catches up! Some under the tent burned to blisters. Take care of your skin. Africa)
Have a nice holiday!
So, we returned from vacation on 24.08. 18. I want to say right away that you can’t take it out in hand luggage, for some reason they forget to warn about this at the time of arrival, they tell you only when they are already being taken on the bus to the plane. NO FOOD! These are fruits, vegetables in kilograms. Only a couple of sandwiches are allowed. Drinking water is not allowed, stabbing cutting objects (nail files, scissors, with ATTENTION, a glass flask from a hookah is not allowed in hand luggage). Put everything in your luggage and there will be no problems. The weight of luggage for 1 person is 20 kg, for two people 30 kg. You will be charged for excess.
The hotel corresponds to 4 *, opened with a new owner two months ago. There are outdoor, indoor and children's pools, SPA center. I would call the hotel Russian, 90% of vacationers.
And most importantly, you are the face of your country, do not scandal, do not make claims, you are not the navel of the earth, and you are in a foreign state with their rules and laws, if you paid a lot of money for a ticket, this does not give you the right to behave like cattle , and all the staff in front of you must crawl on their knees, please and fulfill every whim. We have witnessed such scenes more than once, especially the "ugly" Russians stand out. I also want to note the female part of the vacationers who came from Muhosransk and are trying to pump their rights. I think you will agree that at your job, in your team, you would not want to be in such a stressful situation every day, all working hours, listen only to complaints, rudeness, etc. during the day. Let's be tactful, educated and a little more patient
Now about the hotel:
Settled immediately, if the hotel is not busy give rooms to choose from, you must first look, so as not to run with luggage. With an escort, check if everything works in the room. Rooms with wooden floors are located in a separate building along the perimeter of the pool. The main building has stone floors in the rooms. Regarding bribes for a room, do not give and everything will be fine, but they may be asked to pay, it is up to you to decide whether to give a bribe or not. Rooms are facing the road, most overlooking the pool. We had room 1208 in the main building. Cleaning of the room every day, imperfect, at home you also cleanliness is not sterile. The disadvantage of pool view rooms is the constant music from 10.00-19.00 (loud) if you want to relax during the day, no options. The lack of rooms in the main building (at least with a pool view) is music until 24.00 in the lobby bar, evening entertainment for children and a disco for adults.
Audibility is colossal even with the closed door on the balcony. A common drawback of rooms overlooking the pool is gatherings until three or four in the morning walking, drunk, screaming Russian vacationers, there were fights, scandals with the police being called. According to the information of vacationers in some rooms, something did not work, dripping from the ceiling, etc. If you report to the reception, or excellent Russian-speaking guides from Russia at the hotel, it is eliminated very quickly. The main thing is to correctly formulate your request (water does not flow, but drips from the ceiling, water does not pass, but the siphon is clogged, etc. ). Treat this normally, because it is not possible to keep track of so many rooms and fix everything before you move in. Regarding the replacement of linen and towels, read the description of the hotel, we changed towels every day! Beach towels are in the room and are changed every day next to the pool.
During the day, animators hold various events near the outdoor pool, and active vacationers do not get bored. Walk to the beach for about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace, from the exit from the hotel to the left along the road, and in a straight line along the fence until the first turn to the right. On the fence there is an inscription that the beach. Also, a free wagon runs there from the hotel, the largest one that will stand near the entrance with a red roof, pay attention there are several of them, the rest will be paid. I’ll say right away that you shouldn’t spend money, because it’s not far on foot. On the beach with entertainment only volleyball, there is a toilet with a shower, a bar with drinks. I would like to especially note the guide Natalya, who works at the hotel, the girl will help you in solving all your everyday problems, because she speaks English, Arabic, and will help to convey information to the staff to eliminate them. She also explains how to get where, where to buy, etc.
she has a schedule of buses plying to Monastir and Sousse (at the bus 52 A, 52B, 52C (the letter does not matter) in both directions, the final stops. The cost is 700 melim (kopecks), look at the dallar to dinar exchange rate on the Internet (we had 1 $ - 2.5 TD dinars) There are two shopping centers opposite each other. For reference, in Sousse, the final stop if you see the port from the window on the right side, or rather its end, the final one is the entrance to the Medina (market) which is located inside the fortress, not get lost, because the market is located in a fortress, its walls surround the market along the perimeter. The rows of the market are designed so that if you enter, go to the end of the row, you will hit the wall, turning around and going back as if to the bus (where you got off), that is The fruit market is located on the left side of the fortress, on the right side there is a clothing market, many have fixed prices.
Be vigilant on fruits, they may try to swell, for example, 4 dinars are written on the price tag, but in fact they say that the price is for 0.5 kg, so immediately specify the price per kg or piece? Try to bargain, the traders are very sociable and good-natured. By the way, remember, only cheese in a mousetrap is free, vacationers said that they were invited, treated to tea, and then it turned out that they had to pay for all this. Now about the food in the restaurant, the food is varied, they are fed for slaughter and very tasty. Every day, several types of meat, salads, pizza, ice cream only for lunch, sweets, cakes, pastries and other things are very many and for every taste. From fruits they gave peaches, watermelons every day, melons and some other exotic fruits. If they are over or you don’t see them, wait 5-10 minutes and they will bring a new portion. If someone thinks the food is bad, or it's not enough to ask and answer the question what would you like, here's just a list, a list.
Do you have the same choice at home? When I asked this question to those who were indignant, they could not get a clear answer. But discontent through the roof. There is a lot of food, there is a variety, extra pounds are provided in any case. And yes, there is nowhere to go out in the evening, just go to Sousse or Monastir, a taxi by the meter (6-7dinars) And finally, your girls, your hairpins and evening dresses look at least vulgar in the hotel, sorry, but alas, it is.

We took off from Sheremetyevo on August 24 with the company "Northern Wind". We flew for about 5 hours. Upon arrival in Tunisia, at the exit from the plane, the flight attendants issued migration cards, which, as best they could, filled out at the airport. Although if it were humanly possible to give these cards during the flight, then it would be possible to fill them in calmly, without fussing.

The tour was bought from the company "Pegas Touristik" and therefore we were not surprised that, having found our bus at the airport, we were offered to load our suitcases into the luggage compartment of the bus ourselves. We got to the hotel quickly, about 10 minutes and just as quickly unloaded our things ourselves.
At the hotel, in the conference hall, they filled out registration cards and lined up at the reception. Having stood in line, we were put on bracelets, given the keys to the room and the safe, and showed us the approximate direction to our room. Taking our suitcases, we went to look for our room, which is not very easy to do in this hotel.
I was very pleased that the elevator did not work (this is a daily problem) it was nice to warm up on the stairs after the plane. After wandering through the corridors of a hospital terribly reminiscent of the 60s, we finally found our number (1232). In a room with ancient furniture, a brand new mini-fridge and TV somehow looked ridiculous. Turning on the air conditioner, we made sure that it had not been showing signs of life for a long time, which we tried to report on a non-working phone. In the end, I had to postpone the dismantling of the suitcase and go to the reception for disassembly. There we were told that in 15 minutes a technician would come to us and fix everything. at the end of the 40th minute of waiting, we ourselves had to go to the reception again. Soon we were lucky to see the technician. He busily removed the cover from the switch and began to pick at the grille of the air conditioner. After another 15 minutes, he gave up and left.
Once again explaining at the reception that our air conditioner is not working, they decided to send their man from the reception. After another 20 minutes, we stood at the reception and decided what to do. Since there were no available rooms, we were told to come the next day by 8 am and we will be moved to another room. We agreed to spend the night in this room and decided to go to a bar on the way. Having stood in line at the bar, I immediately remembered Gorbachev's times. In the evenings there is always such a queue. Only here the booze is not worth it, which consists mainly of ice, and the rest will fit as much as possible. The next morning at 8 am we were already at the reception. Seeing at the reception a completely different chicken, which does not speak Russian at all (by the way, she is the main one there), we immediately became alert. With difficulty understanding each other, she told us to come tomorrow at 8 am. Hotel managers also did not help to resolve the situation.
Realizing that this could continue until the end of the holiday, we decided to unpack our suitcase and stay in this room. The room was overlooking the entrance to the hotel, on the left unfinished building. At night, if you do not close the balcony, then until 3 am you will listen from neighboring hotels. The first day at the hotel it's hard to get used to the smell of bleach coming from the pool, towels, sheets and tap water. The room was cleaned and changed shampoos, toilet paper, drinking water every day. Sometimes prada did not succeed all at once, they can first change one set of towels, then shampoos, then bring in the sheets, and so on throughout the day. It seems to me that this is due to the fact that the elevator constantly breaks down. At night, ants and cockroaches can be found in the toilet. If you don't like it, don't go to the bathroom at night. The food is good, although monotonous. Once there were shrimp for dinner, and the next day there was porridge with shrimp heads. In the process, nothing is lost here.
Of the fruits were watermelons, melons, grapes, apples. Just do not think that such a selection of fruits at a time. Usually there was one kind of fruit, maybe two.
The pool bar offers soft drinks and beer. From 11:00.16:00 there is ice cream. The animators are very good. It is very close to the sea, you can also eat on a horse. The beach is dirty. Many will say that tourists themselves pig there, but I have been to many beaches and I will say that tourists everywhere pig the same way, only the beaches are cleaned in different ways. Sometimes there is a lot of algae, but you need to catch the moment when they do not exist. Jellyfish have never bitten me, although it happened to some, but this is not critical. You can take a tomato at the bar and rub the bite, after which it goes away. Judging by the hotel guides, tourists are so tired of them that they work just to get rid of the tourists. Once they took an excursion on ATVs.
Silently they took the money, wrote out a receipt, did not even bother to explain what to take with them. and an excursion with English tourists. Upon arrival at the place, we were offered to buy bandages for the face for 3 dinars, because dust is strong there. But the Russians don't care about the dust, because no one warned them to take the money. In the middle of the ATV ride there is a stop where you can buy water for money, but we are Russians and we are not thirsty. Also, at the end of the trip, they offer to buy photos for 5 dinars, which is what the British do. Thanks to the hotel guides, Russians, like chmoshniki, stand on the sidelines. In the end, these pictures were already offered for 1 dinar, but we didn’t have such a trifle with us. Thanks to the hotel guides Yaroslava and Altynai! They explain everything in more detail to those who take more expensive vouchers from them, for example, to the Sahara, and 40 bucks quad bike vouchers for them are trifles that are not worth exchanging.
Also from the hotel you can go to the city of Monastir by taxi or bus 52 (the ticket costs 660 local kopecks). There you can go to the Medina, go shopping, since the bus runs every 30 minutes. Himself proudly dirty, but you can see.
If we judge that they paid 30.000 for a ticket for two for a week, then we can say that the vacation was a success.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2014. In Tunisia itself for the third time, of which the second in Monastir. On the way, everything is already clear, UIA flew from Kyiv, respectively, the arrival was at the new Enfid airport, it took about 50 minutes to get to the hotel. The departure was late, the hotel was at one in the morning, the reception was empty, they settled instantly, the room overlooking the garden, the rooms with cosmetic repairs, the doors to the balcony are plastic (in many rooms there are still wooden ones).

The room was absolutely perfect. Everything worked and was available from air conditioning to a free safe, the key to which is given immediately upon arrival, the TV remote control is available (in other hotels in Tunisia this is not available or for money). Three sets of bath towels, changed daily, there was a good maid, she always did it before our arrival from the sea until 12 o'clock, and in general a good woman, cleaned well, always left 2 bottles (1.5 l) of water, reported soap, shampoos and gel for the body (of course, we carry our own on our travels, but it’s still nice), just a set of three beach towels, lay in the bathroom, changed them ourselves when we saw the maid on the floor. All two weeks she decorated the room with petals or flowers, it was especially pleasant for the child. The first hotel in which there was no pronounced need for tips, no one hinted, did not pretend that they were required, and so on. On our travels, we personally tip the maids every other day and then, if desired, the staff, such as the porter.
I liked the hotel in general, clean, green, nice pool. The pool provides ice cream and pancakes, there are all drinks, if you need a cocktail, then in the bar of the main building. Locally produced drinks, we drank only cocktails (somewhere around 7 types) and wines (3 types), and also drank cappuccino (there are all types of coffee drinks), Russians only drink beer. I’ll tell you right away about the big drawback of this hotel, so as not to return to it anymore, the hotel is completely focused on Russians, in isolated cases there are Ukrainians, Belarusians and Slovaks. We were not very comfortable, this is the first time we are relaxing in a hotel with so many Russians, I'm sure that this was the last time. This is just in case if for someone, this is important.
Since we have already traveled for the third time and for the last two times, you can say most of Tunisia and most of it on our own at excellent prices, let's say Pegasus did not surprise any of the excursions, and when you look at these prices in dollars, you don’t understand at all who is on agrees to them (if someone needs information on prices from Pegasus, I can write or scan a brochure) But I can immediately say do not listen to the horror stories that Pegasus representatives tell (Gulchatay and Altynai, as I called them, some real name : )). Nonsense and outright lies about Tunisia struck. For those who are not in the know, the revolution in Tunisia ended 4 years ago, there is a president and this year there are new presidential elections, people for the most part are friendly, they especially love children, I would not say that they are annoying. This is what I liked about Tunisia, that here you can feel calm in the city and not be afraid. Of course, there are stories about the fact that jewelry is torn off, well, excuse me when a young lady goes with a deep neckline and 2-3 gold chains hang around her neck, and in addition a DSLR hangs on her shoulder without a case, so what did you want ! ? In my opinion, you should not forget that you are in a foreign and even an Arab country. So, about representatives, turn on your brain and at least read about the country before you go to it, and not believe all the stories of managers that the main task in the hotel is to sell you excursions, everything else is secondary and in most cases it is not important for them (and the flow there are a lot of tourists to them, which struck me, what do people ask about and what problems do they come with, people turn on the brain). You can safely buy excursions in any other place, of course it’s a pity that this hotel has only one representative of one operator, in other hotels we chose any other one from someone cheaper or bought from locals. For comparison, Sahara for a family of 2 adults + a child in Pegasus is $ 450, the same can be bought in Monastir for $ 250, I even managed to buy for $ 180, but this is rather an exception. And so in everything. Zoo, you can safely take a taxi, the cost of a taxi is on average 80 dinars + 20 dinars entrance 1 adult, going by yourself for 3 (family) will cost about 130 dinars (we could manage 110 dinars, but again this is an exception) from the operator it costs about 150-170 dollars. So you can go anywhere, save a very large part of the budget, we even traveled to ancient cities (such as Dougga, Tuburbo Majus, Zaguan, etc. ) individually by car with a driver (car with air conditioning ) it cost us all 200 dinars, the operator asked for 600 for this! , and so on. A little distracted from the hotel.
I will continue, since this year we were no longer interested in the excursion, we devoted our vacation to relaxation. We spent the first half of the day on the beach, the disadvantage is that the hotel is on the second line and you need to go to the beach or there is a carriage with a horse that will take you to the sea for free. Basically, it didn't bother me. But this is the first time we took a hotel on the second line and hopefully the last. The beach is normal, everything is standard sunbeds, umbrellas, there are also mattresses (that year we rested in a hotel in which the sunbeds were not plastic, but soft, much cooler, well, that's it). We always came to the beach at about 8 o'clock, so there were no problems with umbrellas, and there were enough sunbeds and mattresses for everyone anyway. On the beach there were drinks the same as near the pool, closer to dinner if pancakes with chocolate and ice cream were given near the pool, then on the beach they gave fries with a go-dog (I would say that it was a pathetic likeness) and watermelon or melon. Somewhere at 12 we left the beach and did not return that day. We dined and after the heat subsided, we rested and swam by the pool until 19 o'clock.
Food, everything was enough, in principle, I have not yet been to any hotel so that I could stay hungry in ALL. There is meat - beef, turkey, chicken, even pork, lamb; fish - there was tuna, there were all kinds of fish fried, steamed, also came across delicious; side dishes - rice, fries, potatoes, pasta, etc. Salads, vegetables, curds, sausages (we don’t eat this), soups (2 types), bread, olives (the first time I ate such terrible olives, last year in Sousse at the hotel I took half a plate, it’s just disgusting, I was surprised) , olives, all kinds of hot peppers, garlic, etc. Sweet, well, it could have been better, but to be honest, it was enough, for a long time they had already tried everything and took only what they liked more in a small amount. What made me very happy was very juicy, sweet, delicious melons, overeating, there were also watermelons, sometimes grapes (but I don’t like grapes in Tunisia, so I didn’t even take it here), plums, peaches. Well, in short, there is always something to eat, we even arranged fasting evenings for dinner, and those who say that there is nothing to eat, we don’t understand. By the way, the child of 4 years also did not starve. Oh, and I also want to mention natural yoghurts with jam (apple, fig, strawberry, etc. ) for breakfast. Entertainment, almost everyone writes enthusiastic exclamations about animation, animators, etc. here. Well, yes, it’s kind of fun, but in fact everything is monotonous, rather boring, and at times it’s gone and looking at others, even I would say humiliatingly, as for me, nothing special. On the beach, in general, sometimes a pitiful semblance of animation was carried out, it was possible not to come at all, but it was clear from them that the beach was like torture for them, all the movement was arranged by the pool. A few more words about the sea, nature is nature, but this beach gets more garbage, there were algae and somehow they were blown to this particular area, since moving further away, even without removing anyone, there was a beautiful clear sea. I saw this in Tunisia and in other years when there are hotels near the coast of which there are fewer algae and it is easier to clean them, but there are a lot of them, and if no one cleans them at all. There were also jellyfish, stinging many to the right and left. People Tunisia is a sea with jellyfish, well, take Finistil or any anti-allergic ointment with you, instead of running around and asking for tomatoes (it was funny to be honest). Also on the beach, I didn’t like the fact that the merchants go straight to the sunbeds, other hotels didn’t allow themselves this.
For children there was an evening animation, back the same monotonous, and boring for those who are more than 7 days in the hotel. My child already went only to some songs he liked more, and in the second week listening to the same 10 songs somehow... But about the mini club for children, which from 15:00 I can only say good things, the child liked it and he constantly walked, though in this way we lost our daytime sleep. The mini club was led by Heather (eng) and Marina (rus), as a rule, Russian-speaking children were drawn to Marina, my child does not speak Russian, then Marina, as it seemed to me at first, shunned the child, but Heather was surprisingly best friends. In any case, there are only positive reviews about the mini club, this is an opportunity for parents to take a break in the middle of the day.
Well, everything about the hotel, we can say that it’s a good hotel for its level, and if you consider that the money came up, it’s generally beautiful.
And a few words about the general. Tunisia is very suitable for children, sandy beaches, not deep sea, tolerable temperature in summer, the atmosphere is not annoying, you can freely walk around the city on your own, visit museums, medinas, etc. That in Monastir, that in Sousse, Hammamet there is a supermarket chain, such as Monoprix and General, where you can buy dates (this is a separate conversation, I have not yet eaten dates tastier than in Tunisia), olive oil (we always buy in liter cans (from 3 pcs. ), arrives home perfectly), Miswak toothpaste and cosmetics, tea, coffee, all this is much cheaper in General than in hotel shops. And also near the medina there are large souvenir supermarkets with fixed prices, we like them more than walking around the bazaar.
I made a trip with APL Travel http://www. apltravel. ua/ in the city of Kyiv with a departure from Boryspil airport! At first I planned to go to another hotel that I found four stars on this site, but I was offered three stars and a little more expensive. After reading the reviews about the hotels agreed to the proposed option! Moreover, their trip for two to this hotel differed by 1000 UAH from sales on other sites of the same hotel! Economy offer. The vacation was wonderful. At the airport, they flew with Kharkiv Airlines; FAST, COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT. ALP Travel sent us from Pegas Tourist, so we were supervised by their guide at the hotel! in an obvious way is too much).

Now about TUNISIA: the country is quite interesting. TUNISIA is a country with a beautiful barbarian history and interesting architectural plans from the Roman Empire. You can travel around the country on your own with the help of LUAGE STATHIN (minibuses), taxis, and the metro (ground train in a big city. ) rummage around in the internet you will find through reviews of other people how to get there. Or by ordering expensive excursions from a guide, in which, as for me, there is very little time for any fermentation, to stare, take pictures and chat. Decide for yourself.
What to buy in Tunisia can also be found based on reviews, be sure to buy (wine (the country of Tunisia is a colony of France and knows how to make cool wine, the local cool brand is MAGON)) olive oil, leather bags, and leather goods. The hotel provides sun loungers on the beach and by the pool, mattresses were enough. Drink in hotel bars (beer, wine, vodka, whiskey, gin, rum, brandy, cocktails from these locally produced drinks) from 10:00 to 00:00, everyone had enough in one hand and released 4 and 5 servings. On the beach, beer, fanta sprite juices, and sandwiches with fries. Cleaning is great. Towels and linens are clean and changed in a timely manner. The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, a safe (the key must be carried with you and never left in the room, otherwise they can steal the contents, so the guide said, well, we wore it). Balcony to balcony table and two chairs. Hot and cold water without interruption. Around the hotel in the evening, a pleasant lounge plays in the halls and restaurants, and there is a loud zone by the pool. The beach is guarded, none of the locals imposes their services. But to be honest, the locals have interesting things to buy, and services, for example, riding an ATV for 35 dinars (the dude in the photo sells them), and for your own pleasure, you can take the time for them, they will provide all the information, the main thing is that you understand each other. On the beach, the sea is warm and clean! If there is a storm, there are jellyfish with black hairs, they sting (photo below).
The rest was wonderful, my soulmate and I were full and satisfied! Thanks to everyone who organized our holiday.

Just returned from this hotel. In hot pursuit, I hasten to write a review while my memories are still alive in my memory))) We flew with Pegasus, the Nord Wind airline. For the first time in the history of my relationship with him, I have no complaints against him. Flight without delay, round-trip perfect takeoff and landing. We flew from Novosibirsk for 8 hours, we were pretty tired. Fortunately, the hotel is a five-minute bus ride from Habib Bourguiba Airport))) Remember this name! Later, it will be of great use to you. If you call this name in vain, it means that they will look at you almost the same as at the deceased now, the first President of Tunisia (Habib Bourguib) and all the gates will be wide open in front of you! )))
Upon arrival at the hotel, and we arrived in the morning, we were sent to walk around the hotel for a couple of hours, check-in began at 12.30. We got room 1201, on the first floor in the main building. Electronic safe in the room, standard room. The floors are finished "like a brick", woolen mats lie near the beds, the furniture is dark, wooden. There is everything you need from furniture and accessories. There are hangers and a refrigerator in the closet, according to reviews and understanding, there should be a bottle of plain drinking water in the refrigerator, but we got it only the next day, after contacting the cleaners. The plumbing in the bathroom is somewhat old and tired of operation, but it worked. There were no interruptions in water supply, but the shower kept in its place rather weakly and leaked a little. Hygiene items were: soap, shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, body milk and a shower cap. There was also supposed to be a sewing kit, but we didn’t have it, the previous tenants, apparently, dragged it away for souvenirs))) One “but”, it was still present... It was the smell in the room. The smell of dampness and sewage. By the third day of our stay, we finally got used to it. However, everything was smoothed out by the view from the balcony. He was at our pool. Very cute look too! In the evenings, ants ran on the floor in the room. Yes, yes, such cute, large, black ants. They could easily walk on the leg, if you make a minute stop, but basically, if you walk in slippers in the evening, they are almost invisible. In the room, I must add, very dim light... Three night lights in the room and the light of all left much to be desired. Then, they explained to us that electricity, as in Russia, is very expensive. Therefore, it is saved.
The main restaurant is the main restaurant. Basically, he's a scapegoat. Does not take out so many guests. The food is excellent. Meat, vegetables, fruits and sweets in abundance. The waiters are polite smiles, the cooks also know their stuff. But regarding the places in the main restaurant, on the days of the mass arrival of guests, you need to write a separate topic. Among ourselves, we called all newcomers "white meat", in jest, so to speak. So, some "white meat", apparently, broke out abroad for the first time... It was necessary to see how the aunts in huge beach hats and with beach towels ran from one dish to another, leaned over it and sniffed (thank you at least they didn’t try it from a common spoon))) Then, having filled the plate to the brim, and the plates, it should be noted, about 25 cm in diameter, they ran to the tables to take them))) Therefore, we decided that for now "white meat" will be satiated, you can safely approach the restaurant in an hour and a half and you were not mistaken.
The hotel area is small, but clean and comfortable. The pool is of different depths, on the left it is 1.90 cm, if you move to the right, it gets smaller. The water is clean and warm. Animators, apparently, are forbidden to swim in it, as well as waiters to eat in a restaurant. Therefore, at each session of aquajim or water aerobics, if you like, they would certainly come up with a way to plunge into it themselves, together with vacationers... Moreover, the aquajim exercises were very dependent on the girls who decided to warm up... If they had something look, the animators strained their brains and came up with exercises that, well, obviously did not affect the physical activity and other goals of aquadance in any way, but were simply aimed at ensuring that the girls showed their breasts and ass as much as possible. However, many people liked these exercises and they tried very hard, which pleased the male sex, whose wives went away for a minute on business)))
Animation, it should be noted, no. A game of water polo, then aquagym, and that's where the fun at the pool ends. Near the den of the animators hangs a schedule of events, when we expressed a desire to play beach volleyball, we were told that there were supposedly few animators, there weren’t enough for everyone and they didn’t want to play at all. The volleyball field on the beach is in a deplorable state. Everything is littered and covered with sand, the grid is sagging and full of holes. The beach itself is in poor condition. Garbage is more or less cleared, though with sunbeds a complete mess. Vacationers turn them diagonally to the sun, thus taking a place under an umbrella and managing not to lie in the shade. Therefore, many do not have enough space in the shade.
The sea is different. It all depends on the tides, the phases of the moon. The first days were restless, worried, raised the sand, the next days were crystal clear and calm. But jellyfish! They were all the days, just on one day there were few of them, on another even less, and on other days the sea was teeming with them... They sting painfully, suddenly, especially if you can’t see in the water column, you can’t dodge. Looks like a piece of wire, brownish in color. If the victim is close, it shrinks, if you notice from afar, you can see that it stretches into a ring with a diameter of up to 15 cm. In the middle of this ring is the body of the jellyfish itself and a red cross on it. They say that you can save yourself from itching, after her burn, with a tomato, but it seemed to us that this was self-hypnosis. After you spread the tomato, the itching disappears in half an hour, if you do not spread it, the same thing. Try it for yourself)))
I didn’t like that in other hotels simple drinks like Cola, Sprite and Fanta were always freely available, but here you need to approach the bartenders every time. It was issued in all bars, on the beach, in the lobby, in the restaurant, no more than two drinks in one hand. About the lobby bar is another story altogether.
There is an evening shift, a Negro and an Arab girl. Arabchonka among ourselves, we called a bad word. Alcohol, perhaps initially, of good quality, but diluted to obscene. As for the volumes of already poured body alcohol for cocktails, we swore with the bartenders to the point of hoarseness. The matter reached the Russian-speaking employee Belal and the bar chef and all the waiters, the manager and others, but nothing moved. They brought a bottle, opened it, poured it, apologized and... the next day the same thing. So, dear friends, if you want to relax, then you will need to buy alcohol in the city, in the General supermarket. This is a fixed price shop where locals stock up. Please note that it is closed on Fridays. Do not think, we are not cattle and not alcoholics, such an attitude towards guests is simply unpleasant, especially since the money was paid from 70 to 100 of our wooden ones and by the will of fate, or rather, the lack of free places in other hotels, brought us here. We are four families who met already on the spot, of different ages, different statuses, with different incomes. There were many places, we saw a lot of things, that's why we decided to fight for our rights))) It was our entertainment, the animators did not spoil us, we had to entertain ourselves)))
Animators suited only single girls who came across the three seas in search of great and pure love. They were happy to take pictures with them like monkeys, allowed them to touch their hair and other parts of the body and flirt.
About entertainment. The main entertainment of our new friends was a trip to a neighboring hotel with the status of "four stars". It is called "Ruspina", if you leave the hotel on the road, then go to the right. It is possible along the seashore, but there you feel uncomfortable, according to them, because you fall under the sighting glances of the locals. They have the same white bracelets as we do and no one stopped them even once. They calmly went there almost every day and used their services to the fullest. They really liked it, the movement there is more active than we had.
We rode to Monastir every other day as if we were going to work, all the merchants knew us by sight and never bothered, they traded lazily, got drunk. Good things and cost there well as well as at us. We were then told in confidence that the olive oil there is all factory-made good quality and the red price of one liter is no more than 8 dinars. The dinar exchange rate is about 22 rubles. Taxi to Sousse 10 dinars, to Monastir 7 dinars. This is an approximate cost, bargain and you will be happy. In Monastir, the medina is very small, it is impossible to get lost, the merchants are not annoying, unlike Sousse. There they are impudent, there are many swindlers, including those who speak Russian. Don't trust anyone there. There will be questions, write in a personal, I'll tell you about interesting specimens (a guy from Ryazan, a guy from St. Petersburg, a guy from Kyiv) are excellent breeders)))
About 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the right, if there is a go-kart, it costs about 20 dinars, but there are different prices for different go-karts. Works until midnight. Rode there. Rented ATVs from a cigarette vendor on the beach. They were satisfied. Bargain. We got 25 dinars per person. Compare prices at Pegasus, they have in dollars. The route and time of skiing are approximately the same. They took Tunis-Carthage-Sidi Bou Said from Pegasus. If you don't mind the time, you can go. It all depends on the guide. Our spoke chewed, uninteresting. And the other group had a guide, excellent knowledge of the Russian language, but on the bus like in the Gestapo. Step left, step right
Do not be afraid, Tunisians are peaceful, but of course you should not relax. In general, if you are interested, then ask, I will not mention everything here, but I will answer with pleasure.

Rested with a friend in Tunisia for the first time. Tour from Pegasus in Dessol Saadia Resort bought a week before departure. It could have been bought much cheaper. The trip as a whole was very pleasant. Departed from St. Petersburg on 07/25/2013 at 14:10, arrived in Monastir at 15:45 (flying 4 hours +). At the airport of Monastir, we were met by a guide from Pegasus and, after passing through passport control, we were taken to the Dessole Saadia Resort hotel, where we were placed in rooms for 30-40 minutes.

We got a room on the second floor for three people, in which we lived together. The room consisted of a rather large room, which had 3 beds, 2 bedside tables, a rather long table along one wall, on which hung a mirror and a TV. There were also two built-in wardrobes in the room, one wardrobe - with an upper and lower shelf and a large number of coat hangers, the second - with two shelves, on the top there was a small safe, on the bottom - a small refrigerator (so to speak, a mini-bar). Unfortunately, the key to the safe was lost and we could not use it, although, if desired, it was possible to leave documents, money and valuables in the safe at the reception for free. The room had a bathroom and toilet. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower and a washbasin, a large mirror above the washbasin, a hairdryer, three large towels, three medium towels, a foot mat and three beach towels, as well as a set of necessary soap accessories on the washbasin: shampoo, shower gel , body milk, hair conditioner and shower cap. The room, bathroom and toilet were cleaned daily, towels were changed every 3 days, except for beach ones, because it was simply not possible to change them, since we constantly took them to the beach with us. Twice we asked at the time of cleaning to replace them and we immediately changed them to clean ones. The air conditioning worked constantly, the room was always fresh, everything was cleaned, polished and smelled good. Yes, even from the room there was an exit to the loggia, in which there was a small table and three chairs, on one of the walls there was a hanger where you could dry the necessary things.
The territory on which the hotel is located is quite large, very well-groomed, a wonderful garden with plants unusual for us, several bars where you can drink any drinks during the day: water, juices, tea, coffee, cocoa, beer, wine. The pool bar serves ice cream and chocolate pancakes. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners - buffet in the main restaurant, amazing variety and high quality of dishes, I especially want to note the excellent pastries. Fruits are also daily on the menu: watermelons, melons, plums, grapes.
There is a large pool and a children's pool on the territory, many people prefer to sunbathe and swim here, along the pool there is always a sufficient number of sunbeds with mattresses and umbrellas. The water is always clean, blue. In the large pool, games and aqua aerobics are held daily, most vacationers take part in them with pleasure. I would like to note the excellent work of the animators, every evening they hold animations for children and adults, in which most vacationers participate with pleasure.
The hotel is located on the second line, it takes 10 minutes to go to the sea, you can also take a horse-drawn carriage for free. The beach is sandy, with a sufficient number of umbrellas and sunbeds with mattresses. The sea is warm and clean enough, only two days there were big waves that brought algae and garbage . . we were lucky, we practically did not encounter jellyfish, although they stung some . .
I would also like to note the excellent excursion programs offered by Pegasus. We chose the Sahara tour (2 days) and did not regret it. We saw the whole of Tunisia: from Carthage, the life of triglodytes in caves, camel rides and sunset in the Sahara Desert, to sunrise on the dry salty sea, green oases in the desert, a frenzied jeep race on the sands and swimming in a waterfall. In general, our 10 days flew by unnoticed, what a pity it was to leave this beautiful vacation spot. I remember Tunisia as a warm gentle sea, cheerful friendly people, endless sands of the Sahara desert, a caravan of camels at sunset. We flew away on 08/04/2013 at 03:55 from Monastir with a great desire to return to this hotel again.
