We want to share our opinion about the rest in Hotel Liberty Resort, Tunisia.
We went for the purpose of a beach holiday in mid-July 2019 with a family with children.
The hotel is located in the tourist area of the Skanes area of Monastir, close to Enfidha airport (transfer less than an hour) and very close to Monastir airport (however, planes do not interfere with relaxation). The place is quite quiet and peaceful, as it is away from residential areas and the motorway. There are only other hotels nearby. The downside of this is the lack of infrastructure nearby. The nearest store, which is proudly called the Miami Shopping Center (by the way, is not bad), is quite far to go. And you have to go to Monastir and Sousse by bus number 52 or by taxi.
Having read negative reviews about the condition of the rooms in the basement (we can’t say how true this is), upon checking in, the issue of choosing a room was immediately resolved at the reception. Here, at the reception, you need to pay the tourist tax (we recommend that you ask for a receipt of payment and not lose it), and you can also change the currency to Tunisian dinars (we advise you to find out the current exchange rate in advance). There is very good free dual-band Wi-Fi in the lobby (the signal is strong, it even reaches some rooms). The hotel provides beach towels (on bail, not used).
We settled in a room on the third floor with a sea view. The room itself is in very good condition. Quiet. A large double bed and a single bed, with an extra bed for a second child. Central air conditioning, safe (paid, did not use), a large LCD TV (of the Russian-speaking ones, there was only satellite “First”, so we watched videos from our flash drive). Everything else is standard - it makes no sense to describe. All good, all functional.
Room cleaning is regular and high quality. It takes place at a convenient time (at 10-11 o'clock). Towels and bed linen are changed, toilet paper is replenished regularly.
All inclusive meals at the main restaurant. The choice of dishes is large, everything is delicious. Unexpectedly much and often beef was served. They also cooked a lot of birds, fish, gave crabs. Side dishes are varied and tasty. Most of the dishes are familiar, but there were also national (they are marked with signs with the Tunisian flag) and exotic for us (such as ossobuco). From fruits - mainly watermelons, melons, plums, peaches, olives. There was ice cream every day. The restaurant is spacious, plus tables on the outdoor terrace - there are enough places for everyone, there were no queues.
Several bars (including on the beach) with beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, water, cola, fanta and sprite, as well as coffee machines and powdered juice machines. You can also get bottled drinking water here. During the day, delicious pancakes and donuts are baked by the pools.
It is possible to visit the a la carte restaurant once.
The cooks, waiters, bartenders and cleaners do a very good job. Welcoming, polite and accommodating.
The territory of the hotel is large, well-groomed, green. The hotel, the beach and the area around are guarded.
The pool is large with a variable depth from 0 to 1.9 meters, there is also a small shallow children's pool with a small slide. Around the pool there are sun loungers - there are enough of them, they were always free.
The beach is located at a small distance, a couple of minutes on foot. The sand is quite clean, sun loungers and mattresses are also in abundance. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy, without stones. The purity of the water is changeable - either algae appear (in non-critical quantities, regularly removed from the coastal strip), or they are carried away far into the sea; occasionally picks up trash. Locals also come to the beach. They are not allowed on the beach area belonging to the hotel, but the coastal strip and the sea are common. There were no problems.
The animation team is active. There is a kids club.
In addition to the Russians, Germans, Poles, Romanians, Arabs rested in the hotel. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Liberty Resort very much! We swam, sunbathed, walked, went on excursions and charged with positive emotions for the whole next year.
Thanks for attention! We will gladly answer your questions.
