There is a Caribbean chain in Monastir (there are 4 stars) and the reviews have always been worse, mostly because Hammamet is both more expensive and cleaner, and probably better :-) However, there are Caribbean in Mahdia and Nabeul. The Hamammet Caribbean is good (the buildings only differ), the child will definitely like it (especially if you are a fan of water, pools, slides). If you attach importance to this, you can consider the variant of the treshka Prima Life Safa, now called Safa Resorts, there are the same slides and for free, repairs were made not so long ago.
