Good day! I will try to present as objectively as possible all the impressions of staying at the El Mouradi Djerba Menzel 4 * hotel.
1. Numbers.
Arrived at the hotel on July 28th. They settled us in the most distant bungalow overlooking the desert and other bungalows. Walk to the central building of the hotel for 3 minutes + stomp from it to the beach. The rooms are terrible: the entire bathroom is rusty, the furniture is old, there is little lighting, there are old plastic chairs and a dirty table on the makeshift "balcony", the walls are cracked, there is no mini-bar, there is only 1 Russian channel on TV. The main rule of the hotel: even if you have Ultra All Inclusive (I will tell you about this separately), you will have to pay extra for all the amenities in the hotel. First of all, it concerns cleaners. They clean the rooms disgustingly: wash the floor and pull a blanket over the bed. If you talk separately and leave a good tip (1 dinar is the norm, which is not even perceived by the staff as a tip; if you want comfort, pay more), then they can make the bed well and change towels. Dust is not wiped with or without a tip. The next day, we were able to negotiate with the hotel staff (for 10 dinars) to move us to a free room in the central building. Relocated. When you open the window, the pungent smell of sewage hits your face, since the processing takes place right in the yard (don't be alarmed, not in all rooms, we just got lucky). As a result, we tried not to appear in the room.

2. Base of the hotel.
The hotel has 3 outdoor swimming pools, one paddling pool for children - all with salt water. There is also one indoor pool, but it does not work (there are rumors that fresh water was collected there). The beach is sandy, but the entrance to the sea on the rocks - be careful. There are few places for swimming, because. a very large area is occupied by algae, swimming over which does not give any pleasure. The hotel has a shabby gym, but a good Thalasso spa, there is a football field, a mini-golf course, a volleyball court, water polo goals, tennis tables, an extreme water sports park, restaurants, a dance floor, a place for Wi- Fi (very poor internet speed - buy local sim cards if you like to use your phone often).
3. Nutrition.
Doesn't qualify for 4 stars. Both the food and the restaurant itself, which is more like a canteen: dirty tables, lack of dishes, flies on food, long lines! Constant long lines! And constant chaos. To sit down at a normal table with cutlery you will have to lay out a couple of coins for the waiters - otherwise wait in a queue. By the way, waiters, as well as other service personnel, are VERY SMALL! From the outside it seems that a lot of food is laid out on the buffet, but in fact there is very little choice. And if you do not eat spicy, then the menu is halved. Local drinks are a different story. Juices - diluted "Yupi" (and this is even louder! ), Better not drink. Tea, coffee, plain water, soda are good. But all the local alcohol is a mockery! Alcohol-flavored wine, beer is the cheapest. If you want a good drink, bring it from Duty Free. A separate pebble - in the garden of the tour operator "Anex Tour": we bought vouchers for "ULTRA All Inclusive". As soon as we arrived, our guide told us that there is NO ultra all inclusive in this hotel, and we can only count on normal alcohol at our own expense! Keep this in mind. On the plus side: once every 5 days, a huge fish is butchered and fried here - very tasty! And in general: settle down in the dining room where there is a very long line - there they distribute sweets.

4. Cultural program.
On the island of Djerba itself, there is almost nowhere to go. Of the programs offered by the tour operator, I recommend 1 day in the Sahara (with quad biking and camel riding) and Tunisian Night (dinner at a normal city restaurant). Sightseeing tour - for an amateur (Jews will like it). A trip to a crocodile farm is more for children. "Sea voyage" - money down the drain (in a nutshell: you will be taken by boat to the island, where you will be allowed to swim. That's all). And that's it. There is nothing else to do on the island. Is it possible to go to a city (for example, Midoun), where there is a chance to run into “hungry” sellers who, quite legally, literally “gnaw” your wallets in no time. BUT! The hotel has good animation! All day long they play with you, dance, entertain. Thank you for this! I also advise you to go to the water sports park and ride cheesecakes / bananas / flyfish / jet ski and parachute (at your own expense, of course).
5. Chips.
If you have read the review up to this point and still have not lost the desire to go to this wonderful hotel, then this reminder is for you:
A. If you want to sunbathe on the sea - take sun loungers at 6:00. Take a towel and carefully place it on a deck chair, pressing it with a chair or stone. Now go to sleep in peace.
B. If you want to swim on a normal beach, leave the hotel on the beach, turn left and go straight, straight, straight to the house on which Russian cities are scratched. There, behind the house, the Laguna begins, a place where you can normally swim and relax.
Q. If you want to sit in a clean restaurant on site, sign up in advance. Registration takes place in the pre-dinner time in the dining room-restaurant of the hotel (at the entrance on the left). We did not have time to sign up, so take care of it immediately upon arrival.

D. If you decide to go to Midoun or another city for souvenirs or something else - in no case do not show the locals your hotel bracelet (hide it), and do not talk much in Russian. Local gypsies will instantly pick up the keys to you and sell you their spices for all your cash, and even take the money off the card.
E. If you want to have a good rest and not run into a terrible hotel - read the reviews! Unfortunately, we did not have the time and opportunity to choose something other than this hotel. We felt all his love. Compatriots, I do not wish you to experience this quiet horror. By the way, there are a lot of Russians here. Apparently some people like it. . .
