The plumbing works. Mosquitoes and all kinds of crawling-flying - not noticed.
Air conditioning - works, otherwise in the local climate there is no life without it.
On the plus side, the in-room safe is free. Wi-Fi - catches throughout the hotel, free and very smart (maybe because there are few people).
Staff - friendly, but with English, not to mention Russian - pichalka. But everything can be solved, there are those who know English.
There is a refrigerator in the room. There is no hair dryer - take it with you, at least not to sit with a wet head under the air conditioner.
In general, an ordinary hotel, standing on the street, and a cafe with it. There is no pool. All kinds of cafes nearby, massage and other civilization and fruit breakups are available.
Of the minuses - to the sea for 10-15 minutes on foot right down the street (do not get lost). And breakfasts start at 8 am, when the restaurant opens.
There is no point in the balcony, because. he goes either to the street or to the wasteland.
Breakfast - standard - scrambled eggs or eggs + sausages, sausage, coffee, jam.
So if you are going not to spend extra money and not sit in a hotel with a pool and beer, but to travel or sit by the sea is quite a budget option.
Moreover, all lunches and dinners will still have to be obtained either in other cafes - or in your hotel - for hotels with the BB service.
The beach is all municipal, there are no separate hotels. So we leave the hotel anyway. Sunbed - 40 baht (now 1 dollar - 30 baht), but you can bring your own towel - there is enough space for everyone. + coconuts (40 baht) and porters with all sorts of small edibles, as usual on public beaches.
The sea is empty, muddy and hot, at times resembling a thermal spring. There is no point in snorkeling - muddy water, sand at the bottom, and there is nothing to look at. We must go to the islands, where the water is clear and there are visible living creatures.
By the middle of the day there is a complete ebb, due to which you have to go further and further to the water, and over time it becomes hotter, in some places resembling an already hot bath? ) . But this is the end of May - June - the hottest months.
In addition, the sea is mostly sand, but there are unpleasant blotches in the form of sharp shells and other marine life. And a couple of fresh scratches immediately made me think of the Egyptian "coral slippers", fortunately, a reasonable thought came to put them in the suitcase in time. So take it. It's not so pleasant to run on excursions with cuts on the heels. Weight a little, and they can save the mood and plans well.
The most harmful of the local "attractions" is not the heat, but minimarkets. Why? Temperature difference. Outside - +40, inside - about +20-22. After the 3-4th mini-market in a row, a cold may await you at the exit with all the ensuing consequences.
Travel agencies.
We took a tour in "Come with us" - from the TPG tour operator, which logo should be looked for at the airport. However, there was no smell of any TPG there. Well, the local guide - a specialist in catching "his" tourists at the airport - found and sent to the bus. The host was the travel agency "Sayama" - "Sayama". And I have not seen such a high-quality travel agency for a long time. Unlike the partners of JointUp and TUI, every tourist is watched here, SMS is sent on excursions, and even SIM cards are distributed. Accordingly, the excursions were all taken from them (Bangkok, Cambodia and a yacht trip).
Special special thanks to the guide Alexander (excursions to the crocodile farm, Bangkok). I have not seen such an abundance of interesting, relevant and simply cool information for a long time. Simply unbelievable!
