Accommodation at this hotel was booked and fully paid in advance. ASQ (ALQ) - 15 days. However, prior to arrival, the Thai government reduced the quarantine period to 7 days.
This hotel refused to return money to customers for unused 8 days, citing the fact that they decided to raise prices from the new month, so they will keep the client's funds almost 100% (offered to return only $ 243 out of 2313, which is exactly the cost of PCR tests scheduled for thirteenth day)
The ASQ and ALQ programs are government quarantines, not just holiday hotel accommodations. And the terms of quarantine are determined by the Thai government. Changing these dates is in no way dependent on whether your guests have made a booking. And I'm sure you agree that it's not the fault of the hotel guest who booked the hotel stay that the dates were shortened.
In addition, the hotel cannot distribute new rates to bookings already made in the previous month and paid in advance. It's not fair. Be very careful gentlemen don't trust this hotel completely.
As for the hotel, its rooms can be estimated at 3 points. Very dirty, dusty curtains and curtains. The condition is very old.
But the service staff is friendly, they try to help if they can. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are acceptable.
The pillows are very uncomfortable, the springs dig into the back from the mattresses. On one bed there was a protective mattress pad, but on the second double bed there was a narrow mattress pad (about 70-80 cm), which covered only a narrow strip of the central part.
Tea bags are not provided, please bring your own.
Very poor soundproofing. The area looks good.
I don’t know how it is now, but a year ago everything was just wonderful.
