The guide me and my 7-year-old daughter (it was with her that I went to Tai on vacation) simply “knocked over” with an excursion to the Kwai River, took money and “fed” me with promises about the mysterious Kwai for a week, after we threatened with litigation in the homeland and the tourist police in Thailand - we were returned the money we paid for an already very expensive excursion (6500 baht for two), due to inexperience, because at the neighboring Chol Chan hotel our compatriots offered an analogue 2 times cheaper. Advice: do not be afraid to take these excursions from "ours", they definitely will not deceive. After that, there is a chance to come to this country again. The rooms are air-conditioned, clean, snow-white beds (the linen is changed every day), if there is dirty linen, they will wash and iron it, and in the evening, having come from the excursion, you find your clothes fragrant with freshness and floral aromas in the closet, and next to the price tag, to horror with a ridiculous price ; )). I also liked the fact that after drinking, for example, a bottle of beer (and the beer there is very tasty, especially in the KOPF restaurant), and leaving it on the table or on the ground, looking back after 5 seconds, you do not find it, only the neck of this vessel is visible in an urn standing two steps away from you (well done, Thais keep cleanliness). The pool in the hotel is large, beautiful, but not deep, which is a special grace for children, and it is comfortable for an adult to lie down. The sea is dirty (muddy bottom, plastic dishes from nearby cafes on the coast), and besides, frequent low tides will not let you swim, but there is room for a photo shoot: evening sunsets, reflections of waves, birds, etc. , will leave pleasant memories of this wonderful country . Trust me, you won't see this in other hotels. By the way, all Russians in this hotel try to make friends, such an aura is inherent only in this hotel, in other hotels I noticed, and in conversations with compatriots there is no friendship, everything is exactly the opposite (many were jealous of us and "bited their elbows", which ignored this hotel). At the reception, we were given a schedule of a free bus from the hotel, it travels in an hour to the center, to the Bella Villa Express hotel (it takes 10-15 minutes), and it also takes you back from it.
