When checking in, they tried to immediately deceive: they settled in the Standard room, although they booked Superior, after half an hour of not understanding what I wanted from them, they pretended that they were mistaken and moved us to the right room. The room is very large, with a large refrigerator, old and dead furniture, a kitchenette (there is an extractor hood, no stove), half of the drawers are clogged and the handles have been removed. The repair was made a long time ago and is of very poor quality, the gaps in the doors are up to a centimeter, from which there is no sound insulation at all. Bed linen and towels (there are three of them: one for legs and two large ones) are old and washed to holes. We immediately noticed that there were plastic chairs on the balcony, very fragile and old, slightly larger than children's ones (probably made for small Thais), looked at the neighbors balconies, they are normal there, we decided not to even sit on them... but in the evening they sat down neatly... as expected, the chair crumbled into small pieces, looked at another one - there are old cracks on it, according to reviews we knew that in phu view talay bred for broken furniture and stains on the bed and towels (at the reception there is a warning for losing the key, colored stains on towels and linen - huge fines !!! ). So that the broken chair would not annoy us, we collected the chair in a bag and threw it into a container on the way from the hotel.
Breakfasts at the reception, at the entrance, on the open terrace, in the heat, every day the same thing: fried eggs, non-edible sausages and ham, rice with vegetables, one kind of fruit, incomprehensible tea and coffee, tried three times and for us it was conditionally edible is fried eggs, fruit and toasted bread.
To the beach 7-9 minutes walk, going down steep steps, the beach is dirty, dogs, pigeons, dirty gray water with floating debris,
pads and dead jellyfish, cafes, showers, and no toilets. Towels - in the trash, killed, in tatters, issued at the reception under the record and strictly on time.
Wi-Fi is weak, strictly on time, at the reception.
The shower does not drain.
Get to any part of Pattaya by taxi 150-200 baht or on foot (40-50 minutes to the center, crossing the roadway with chaotic traffic, in the evening through the dark park and streets)
Cleaning in the rooms is bad: sweeping with a broom without a vacuum cleaner and washing (a lizard ran into the room, they moved the bed, under it there is centuries-old dust and garbage, etc. ).
Old tube TV. No kettle. No hair dryer.
Knowing about the theft even from the safe, in our absence they hung a "do not disturb" sign - nothing seemed to be missing.
When leaving, they presented 320 baht for a chair, gave 10 euros, asked for a document, in which they indicated that they had taken 300 baht, and here it was a hoax!

The location of the hotel is very poor. Get to any place from the hotel - only a taxi. At what one trip is at least 120 baht. The return to the hotel is even more expensive. So be prepared to pay extra for transportation. You will not walk. It's 100%.
The beach is very dirty, a lot of garbage, packs of dogs, in short darkness.
I do not advise. It is better to pay extra and take another hotel.
By the way, the rooms are normal. Breakfast is super modest and all 12 days was the same. In the end, they just didn't go. Ate elsewhere.

The hotel is small, very modest. There is no lobby, in the hall and the reception, and the dining room - all together. Wi-fi only at the reception, turn on at 10.30. The rooms are spacious, most importantly - there is a balcony, where in the evening it is so nice to sit with a glass of Thai rum)). The territory as such is missing, how else did you manage to squeeze the pool in from the side? Breakfasts are outrageously monotonous and meager (I stopped in a three-ruble note, and in a four, there is something to compare with), from fruits - only watermelon or only pineapple. The location is not very good, since Pratumnak can only be reached by taxi, city tuk-tuks for 10 baht do not go here. Taxi drivers know about the hotel, it's useless to bargain with them - 200 baht and that's it. One tourist from Moscow joked very accurately, calling this hotel Kolyma)). I don't want to stay in this hotel anymore.

From the very beginning, we counted on the fact that we would not sit in the room, but would go on excursions and walk.
1. Accommodation.
Drive from the airport for at least three hours, upon arrival they immediately populate, without delay.
The rooms are not very big, but there is enough space, clean, relatively new furniture, everything works, the bathroom is in good condition.
2. Nutrition - none.
There were breakfasts. Everything for breakfast is almost impossible to eat... only vegetables and toast with jam, everything else is worse than in Soviet canteens, but we knew this and were not even upset.
The plus is that you can buy food on the street, bring it to the hotel and eat on the terrace below, they give forks, knives, etc.
3. Service.
This is a separate issue.
The hotel staff are not all friendly and sometimes you get the impression that they are already smiling at you with great force... Especially the boys who work in the evening
In general, the hotel is good. It's ok for an overnight stay. .
In Thailand, there is such a thing that a Thai is always right... and it doesn’t matter that you are actually right... the main thing here is to quietly and for a long time prove your case, we have come across this many times during our holidays.
4. Sea
It’s easy to find the sea: if you leave the hotel, turn left and reach the main street and go down, then there will be stairs down to the sea (very steep, when you go back, it’s very hard) The beach is very original, scary Thai women are doing massage right on the beach very cheap, but people walk by and it's all on some kind of bags... in a word, if you really press it, then try it, otherwise it's a little more expensive in any other salon with air conditioning and normal conditions. The sea itself is very dark, like our black one in Sochi... nothing at all impressive, except that boats drive right up to the shore and it doesn’t matter if someone swims there or not....be careful and don’t let children swim there... There are a couple of cafes on the beach, but we didn’t eat there, only shrimp and beer.
In general, we were on this beach 3 times during the entire vacation, maybe it’s not about anything at all.
5. Islands
It is not so easy to get to the islands from this area.
Tuk-tuks do not go here at all, only taxis or moto taxis, we went on the latter.
Everyone says that it is dangerous to ride bikes, but it is generally dangerous for them to ride there, the rules are not for them. There are two places where motorcycle taxis usually stand, one if you go upstairs when leaving the hotel, the other down. You get to the beginning of Volkin Street and there is just a pier, from there all sorts of different boats go to the islands. The islands are great, but there are a lot of people...
6. Excursions
To be honest, we were going to buy excursions on the street. But at the first meeting with our guide, he said that the prices for excursions were greatly reduced. Apparently, the crisis has affected everyone. We decided to compare with the prices on the street. It turned out that the tour operator's programs became cheaper. Accordingly, we decided to purchase excursions from our hotel guide at the hotel. His name is Magdi. A very pleasant young man. He helped us in every way. Special thanks to him for a great vacation. We took excursions to the boat trip "Euphoria" - the best!! ! Then we went to the "flight of the gibbon" - super !! ! To the new water park in Pattaya - it was amazing. There, all the slides are not standard, and the most important program, without which it is impossible to leave Pattaya, is the Kwai River for 1 day. We liked it too. If we come to Thailand again, we will definitely go to Kwai again, but we will already take a program for two days in order to fully taste the whole flavor.
7. Food
The food is varied, you can find whatever your heart desires, we tried everywhere and everything (especially those places where the Thais themselves eat), if it’s straight about street food - kebabs, they are sooooo tasty, I miss them very much, pancakes, fresh juices (fresh juices are delicious like nowhere else , if you still buy the most ordinary yogurt in the store and ask him to add it to fresh....then you will never forget this taste), ice cream, cockroaches, insects, and so on. BUT there is one golden rule that my dad told me about))) - “eat, but drink down, disinfect” we always washed down all street food with local rum, disinfected, so to speak))) Hung Tong is good !!!! ! Disinfection helped =)))), during the rest they never got poisoned. In the cafes themselves, everything is also very diverse, mainly seafood, try everything. I really liked the cafe on Volkin Street, opposite the Lucifer club, there is still a strange uncle showing tricks all the time, don’t look that she doesn’t look very good, they make delicious food. There is also a very good place near the hotel itself, it is called something like “new Shanghai”, it is kept by a charming Chinese with knowledge of the Russian language, everything is also delicious and inexpensive. In general, during the rest we went around a lot of cafes, mainly on Volkin, but we didn’t find something resembling a restaurant, they still don’t live up to that, but that’s the whole charm of Tai)))
I will definitely return to Thailand, but not to Pattaya. I realized that Thailand itself is beautiful, I want to see its other secluded places.

So. . . I will try to tell you many aspects of rest in Pattaya, in this wonderful city, because at one time, exactly the same reviews helped me a lot. Let's start with arrival: no complaints (flying from Pegasus), met, put on the bus, told everyone along the way, issued local SIM cards (the cost of a call to Russia is about 6-7 rubles / min, depending on the exchange rate of the baht to the ruble) and actually brought to the hotel. … More ▾ So. . The hotel is located about 300 meters from the beach and 3 km from the city centre. Which is perfect in my opinion. Why? Firstly, it makes no sense at all to take a hotel on the first coastline, because they don’t swim in Pattaya. No, well, of course, crazy Russians swim, but they spend the rest of their vacation in a hotel on beds stung by jellyfish and sea urchins, and the water there is not very clean (I’ll write about where to swim later). Secondly, the hotel is ideally removed from the city center and it is really quiet there and you can sleep peacefully. There are no endlessly scurrying cars, motorbikes, screaming boozy Russians (for the whole rest of other nationalities in this state, unfortunately, I have not met). And the center can be reached in ten minutes by any transport or on foot in 20 minutes. The cost of a taxi is 100 baht (about 120 rubles), a motorbike is 50-80 baht (a motorbike is a scooter in our opinion), a tuk-tuk is also 100 baht (these are pickups, with passenger seats in the back). Naturally, you need to bargain, because the Thais, seeing tourists, break prices at exorbitant prices, but you don’t have to bargain for a long time. More about the hotel. Amazingly polite and nice staff, everyone understands Russian, but they don't speak it. Everyone knows English. The rooms are good and clean. Cleaned up every day. We got a room on the first floor with access to the pool directly from the balcony. Believe me, there is nothing better than diving into the pool in the morning, after a stormy night, under the envious glances of the neighbors who live above. You can swim until 10 pm, we swam at night, no one told us anything. The pool, by the way, is not very big, next to it is small for kids. We took the tour only with breakfast, the food is rather monotonous: scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, rice with vegetables, toast, juices, water, tea, coffee, etc.... all) and so every morning. Personally, it didn’t bother me much, the food is quite tasty. By the way, good advice, if you want to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine, do not take tours with a full board or all inclusive. The food there is very cheap, and you can save a lot by eating on your own. It took me an average of 100-150 baht for lunch / dinner in nearby cafes. Bathing. If you have not classified yourself as a crazy Russian, then I highly recommend swimming on the nearby island of Koh Lan. The water is clean, there are barriers from jellyfish, there are several beaches to choose from. Ferries go there from the pier near Walking Street every hour, cost 40 baht, sail 40 minutes. From the hotel to the pier you can walk again, or by transport (60-100 baht). Just get to the very end of the pier, where these very ferries stand, because at the beginning of the pier you will be howled by unborn Thai hucksters and offer you speedboats to the island for 150-250 baht. And of course, what is Thailand without its main "chip", sex tourism. Probably everyone has heard of a street called Walking Street (sorry for the tautology). In essence, the street is... a street where, after 11 at night, or even earlier, crowds of Russian virgin students, unfaithful husbands, inquisitive groups of Chinese (I have never seen a Chinese walking alone) and other people. On the street of this hundreds of cafes, clubs, massage parlors, shops, magicians, beggars, howled (if you decide to walk from the beginning of the walking street to the end, a dozen Thais will come to you with an offer of "ibasa" and pictures of erotic content). Everything is very interesting and unusual at first, but for me personally, my 3rd trip to this street was already somehow boring. I will not describe in detail, because it must be seen. I will only advise that all the services offered on walking street can be taken near the hotel much cheaper. A bit about "near the hotel". There are a lot of massage parlors near the hotel, where for 200 baht you will get a chic massage for an hour. We bought all the products in the supermarkets of seven-evan and family mart, they are round-the-clock and there are a lot of them. We took all excursions from Pegasus, earlier in Pegasus they were much more expensive than street howls (of which there are also a lot on the street near the hotel, by the way, all Russians), but now the prices are equal. Service and quality are about the same here and there. We took the Flight of the Gibbon + Zoo tour (I advise everyone, flying on tight cables, 4 km long over the jungle), Euphoria - a one-day ferry tour, with free alcohol (which is what the Pegasus guide actually attracted our attention, in fact from alcohol turned out to be only Thai rum), swimming and a foam disco on the ferry, various transvestite shows and sex shows didn’t really impress me, you can go for show, but no more. By the way!! ! Pegasus has such a feature that when you buy a set of excursions, it's for you! (and in fact everyone) gets a FREE TOUR to the crocodile farm. On which us.... FORGET TO TAKE! Before that, there were no problems with paid excursions, they called directly to the room, but then they forgot. Anyway. . . rest in peace treacherous pegasus hotel guide-egyptian.... joke) By the way, all the guides from Pegasus and not only speak Russian perfectly, sellers, taxi drivers also understand Russian, the menu is almost everywhere in Russian, money exchangers at every step (you can also in the hotel, but the exchange rate is worse), signs in stores are also in Russian. In general, in my opinion, if it were not for the slightly inflated prices, Tai would have turned into a second Turkey long ago, although it may have turned already. If you want to buy things, then it is better to do it at the night market (150 baht taxi from the hotel), it is open on weekends from 6 pm or so until 11 am. It’s better to buy souvenirs there (many reviews say about Lucdot, but it’s still cheaper on the market). If you want to rent a motorbike, then take it better on Koh Lan, the traffic there is much calmer. Well, that's all for now, have a wonderful holiday and, as the Thais say, Sabai-Sabai are friends.

They cleaned every day, but the balcony was not always of high quality, they forgot to sweep away the sand, but after contacting the staff, everything was cleaned - there were no problems. The room has a safe, so valuables can be put there. We didn't miss anything. The rooms are large and have a kitchen area and fridge. The room has an extractor hood, but there is not a single electronic device. Breakfast is monotonous, but we did not go hungry, we had enough. There were no living creatures in the room, the recommendation is to take out food waste on the same day, otherwise ants start up. If you bring food with you, then you can sit downstairs and ask the girls at the reception for plates and glasses, after you everything will be removed. The hotel is very quiet, located in a corner, so strangers do not enter, and you have the opportunity to find yourself in a busy street in 2-3 minutes, where there are all the benefits of civilization and the road to the beach. On this street there are small supermarkets where you can buy both food and toiletries. There are also many different food vendors on this street - you can eat, but you need to be careful and watch everything carefully, especially the fish, sometimes it is raw inside. Bought boiled corn - very tasty. There are many street cafes with reasonable prices.
MINUSES:
1. There are a lot of Russians who consider themselves to be the owners there and behave in a boorish way, it was a little annoying.
2. You have to go to the sea for 10-15 minutes, and then go down the steps along a steep descent, with children it is not very convenient.
3. It is not convenient to get to the center, because tuk-tuks travel without numbers and they do not have a specific route.
I recommend this hotel for relaxation of body and soul.

They settled us in a wonderful room on the 8th floor, frontal sea view. The view of the room completely coincided with the pictures that I had previously seen on the Internet. There is one minus - hand towels are not provided in this hotel... but we found out this issue and calmed down, besides, the towels were changed daily.
This year, safes were installed in the rooms (we even included a laptop in it), incl. the question of theft did not arise (money, gold-diamonds were not scattered around the number : )). True, we left all the most valuable things (currency, bank card, passports) in a safe at the reception and left a laptop there for the duration of long excursions (Kwai).
Staff:
Only positive emotions!! ! Girls are just lovely, always attentive and generous with compliments. Young people who were at the reception from 20-00 to 8-00 are also very pleasant and friendly.
One of the late evenings, water ran out of the air conditioner, my husband went down to the reception and a young man immediately came, brought towels (a puddle formed on the floor) and said that in the morning there would be a master. At 9-00 the master was with us.
The food is the only big minus of this hotel!! ! Breakfast is very poor: cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, scrambled eggs, rice, sausages, ham, toast, buns, jam, butter, coffee, tea, Jupi type juice - this is daily. Watermelon and pineapple alternate. . .
We didn’t stress about this, because. This was enough for us for an early breakfast.
The rest of the time we bought food from macarons - wonderful banana pancakes from a peasant, delicious chicken shawarma, etc. We went to a seafood cafe (restaurant) (on the way past Vova's, Misha's. . . near some construction site), had dinner at Misha's cafe, etc. Everything was delicious.
Territory and location of the hotel:
The territory of the hotel can be said - no, except for a small island around the hotel. We really liked the location of the hotel - not in the noisy center, but not in distant Jomtien, where it is also not very quiet. We walked from the hotel to the pier in 15-20 minutes, walked to the intersection of 2nd and South streets - 20-25 minutes, to the observation deck - 5 minutes. From the center, from the night market (Tesco lotus) for more than 100b. did not reach, if they found fellow travelers, then it turned out less...
Excursions:
We took it in Pineapple (it happened spontaneously) - Nong Nooch, Discovery, Kwai, the Temple of Truth, went to Mini Siam ourselves.
