TRANSFER AND ACCOMMODATION: Flight from Moscow to Bangkok - 9 hours, back -10. The transfer from Bangkok airport to the hotel took more than 3 hours, since there were three more hours to our hotel. They settled everyone within an hour. We got room 2016 (20th floor). The room has everything you need: kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, shower gel. Mini-bar for a fee, except for 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee bags. There are 2 sun loungers on the balcony.
TERRITORY: large and beautiful. There is a small water park, attractions, a lot of greenery. Squirrels jump up the trees. There are 2 pools: one in the building with a tower (where we lived), the second on the street. Loungers and there, and there were enough. We enjoyed spending time in the tower pool more.
FOOD: breakfasts are normal, but for some reason, completely tasteless and stale pastries. Tea is not packaged, for me personally it is too strong. From fruits watermelons and pineapples. The dining room is huge and there are a lot of people.
INTERNET: free, upon check-in a password is issued, individual for each room. The speed depends on the network congestion, sometimes it turned out to talk normally on WhatsApp and watch the video. But! As soon as you stop using, Wi-fi immediately turns off, you need to enter the password again. And so on 100 per day, strained strongly.
CLOSE TO THE HOTEL: a market where you can buy food (cooked in front of you), souvenirs. Prices on the market pleased: pork and chicken skewers for 50 baht, shrimp from 100 to 200 baht, pizza 150 baht, fish on average 100 baht, fruit cut into a plate - 40 baht, pancakes with a banana - 30 baht.
EXCURSIONS: taken in the company "Nika Travel Pattaya". Back in Russia, they ordered a price list through the site, they helped us make a schedule, We left an advance payment, by transfer to a Sber card, and they sent us vouchers. Before each tour, we were called and told the exact time when they would be picked up from the hotel. We paid the rest of the amount to the guide on the bus. The prices are lower than those of the operator, the service is at the level.
They also received an excursion to Khao Kheo as a gift.
In general, very satisfied with the rest! Amazing country, we will definitely come back here. And maybe in the same hotel!
I was struck by the sea: this time it is transparent and clean! (It was always cloudy and a little debris floated). The beach was also clean and removed the pontoons, the cat. covered the beach. It was a little annoying that there were no buoys, because. usually swim back and forth. We didn’t take sunbeds, they didn’t get burned even once, we observed the regime of the sun.
Russian street is still full of cafes, there are more shops. We went to "Konboran" more often, where the food was cheap and delicious. I didn't like it in "Syto-drunk", "12tveelve restorant", "At Natalia's" and others. And more expensive. For example, fish on the coals with french fries, herbs, sauces cost 150 bows, and in other cafes 250-300 bows. We also compared prices at night markets - it's cheaper here, and fruits, and cosmetics, and clothes. So buy everything here and don't waste your time! Go to the "Vovan shop" for leather, there are always sales and cheap. Belts, for example, were 100 bows each (220 rubles). Sometimes I took bags of 100 bows, summer ones.
They didn’t want to buy excursions, because we have already been everywhere, but could not resist the "Sea Voyage" for 2590 bows: the hotel guide Elena painted that there would be a maximum of 30 people. all over the island, clean sand, clear sea, all inclusive! SCHCHAZZZ! Wanted exotic! We were stuffed into two small boats of 35-38 people, we jumped from the boat to the shore waist-deep in water, and there was also a small storm, so I was shaken, and I got a huge bruise on my leg. In addition to everything, this "uninhabited" island is so littered that there is nowhere to sit on a narrow coastal strip without contemplating these heaps... The guide Sam (Korean Vyacheslav Khan) saved the situation. He was so optimistic, witty, entertained everyone to the fullest! Thank him very much! Water, food, cocktails were more than enough for everyone!
I also liked the overview from the tour operator: finally, they excluded the jewelry and expensive leather shops, and put together the "Orchard" with a snake show and cockfights, went to Khao Chi Chan mountain with a golden buddha (previously these were separate paid excursions), an erawad pharmacy, a tea shop , where they tried teas and tinctures, snake cosmetics, a latex factory (and I just had to buy a pillow as a gift), in general, 6 hours with benefit, we were satisfied.
Separately, about Elena, the hotel guide. After buying the tour, she didn’t even ask about her impressions, she didn’t help with a SIM card, when we turned, her phone. she didn’t, like they were tired of calls, and in general she was very unfriendly. Last year, the guide Tatiana, who looks like actress Merial Streep, was just super in every way!
About the hotel: cleaned every day, but wash only in the center of the room. Beds were changed 3 times in 2 weeks, towels - every day. Water, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, gel - no problem. But this is the second time we have encountered ants. We asked the maid for a remedy, sprinkled it, everything is ok. The food is not very varied, but you will not stay hungry, I ate scrambled eggs, a piece of toast, sausages, greens, ham, muesli with milk. "Washed it down" with watermelons and pineapples, very sweet!
The rest of the fruits were bought: mango, mangosteen, sappadila, melon tree, papaya, sweet apple, small pineapples with duchesse flavor, mmm!
The king of fruits - durian was eaten already 2 times, you just need to take a whole one. They cut it in front of you, take out the cotyledons (4-7 pieces, they should be yellow, soft and oily), give you gloves, and within 15-20 minutes you eat this divine fruit!
P. S. We are happy with our vacation and I will definitely come back here again!
BREAKFASTS: acceptable. . . there was plenty to choose from, shall we say.
Fruits: pineapple, watermelon every day.
Vegetables: tomatoes, Beijing cabbage.
Fish: rare, but ran through.
For a child: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, cereal with milk.
ROOM: large, the balcony was with a side sea view (no extra charge), cleaned every day, changed linen every day too.
Shampoo, gel, tea, coffee, water - also left in the room every day.
TERRITORY: surrounded by greenery, there is an amusement park with slides (roller coasters, etc. ) - paid, water park - paid 200 baht / per person.
Convenient location of the hotel: next to the market, where you can skimp and have a very tasty and inexpensive meal at the tables or take it with you (in other parts of Pattaya everything was really more expensive).
In walking distance from the hotel: supermarket "7 eleven", family market.
Climb up the street - take a tuk-tuk and get where you need to (10 baht / person).
We went on excursions: the River Kwai, the City maximum, the Colosseum show (I don’t recommend it, there’s nothing to pay 45 dollars / 2 people for).
On excursions, as usual, teas, etc. will be delivered to the snake farm.
I recommend buying snake preparations on excursions where the Floating Market is included - Thai medicine preparations are 2 times cheaper there (than in the City excursion maximum - it is closer to Pattaya, prices are correspondingly higher).
1. I'll start, perhaps, with the staff. The staff speaks little English, sometimes they even pretend that they do not understand you and you have to communicate through an interpreter. I will omit that they never said hello and did not smile much.
2. Cleaning in the rooms. We somehow stayed in the room until dinner and found the cleaning of the rooms ...The floors are wiped with a dirty cloth only in the hallway and a little near the beds. Balconies are not cleaned. The curtain in the bathroom is very old and dirty. Toilets are not cleaned. Tables, bedside tables are not wiped. They change only the sheet (duvet cover, pillowcases for an additional fee).
3. Breakfast. You can only get breakfast with coupons, and if you lost it, then I'm sorry. There is practically nothing. All food is mainly designed for the Chinese (some kind of stews, strange salads, rice). Of the fruits, only watermelon, pineapple and bananas (not very tasty, oddly enough). Fried eggs are cooked, but very nasty, greasy, in smelly oil.
There are no yogurts, sweets, cheese, and no dairy products at all.
4. I'll tell you about a few more unpleasant incidents. There are glass bottles of water in the room (free, but not quite), these bottles should not be thrown away, because they do not change them, but simply refill the water! And if you throw it away, then a fine of 15 baht.
I forgot to tell you about towels. With the quality of the towels, as luck would have it, sometimes clean, white, and sometimes gray and frayed. So, we somehow stained the mango towels, so the cleaning lady refused to change them and said that we have to pay, when we asked "for what? " they just need to be washed, like everyone else, she pretended not to understand and poked us on the price plate "in case of lost or damage", referring to the fact that we spoiled them. We turned to the reception, they shrugged their shoulders and said pay, without any arguments.
Of course, we did not pay anything, but at the check-out we were still given this fine and said that they would not let us in until we paid 150 baht!!!
5. Guests are mostly Chinese, 10-20 people are Russians/Ukrainians
6. Pool. The pool is small for such a hotel, there is some kind of muck on the sides and looks like a fungus. There are few beds.
LIKED:
1. I want to note the view from the window. We lived in a building that is NOT a tower. It's newer. We took a deluxe room with a sea view and did not regret it. We were given a room on 14 of the 15 floors. The sunsets are amazing, the room is spacious, there are chairs on the balcony.
2. The location is very convenient. 100 meters from the sea, but it is dirty, muddy and swimming is not very pleasant. There is also a paid water park nearby, but it is more for children, because the pool is waist-deep. From the hotel you immediately get to the market and the "Russian street", there are a lot of cafes, restaurants, massage parlors, fruit shops, shops, etc. 7 minutes to the nearest tuk-tuk stop.
In general, if you are not very picky, then you can choose this hotel. Quiet enough, calm, comfortable, but the quality of service, of course, fails.
1. Absolutely not friendly and polite staff who do not want to help the tourist in case of questions or difficulties. Moreover, this is the first hotel in which the receptionist shouted at me (!!!! ), although I spoke calmly, he just did not like that when I was evicted, I did not want to pay the cost of a bottle of water. But I clearly understood that I did not have to pay anything. As a result, he yelled at me and left, another woman came and said that I could go. So be prepared that this hotel can be rude and try to cheat for money.
2. All the furniture is terrible, old, often dirty, and everywhere: by the pool, in the room, in the restaurant and in the hotel itself.
3. The territory of the hotel is absolutely not well-groomed
4. The rooms are cleaned very badly, the balcony is not cleaned at all. And it seems nothing terrible that the balcony is not removed, but the wind blows sand, someone's hair and small debris from it into the room. And on the white tiles on the floor of the room, this is all very clearly visible.
5. The food at breakfast is not tasty, the plates, despite the fact that they seem to be washed, are often dirty! Moreover, on different days my husband and I got food poisoning at breakfast in this hotel. The fact that this is food poisoning from the hotel is unambiguous. Because I ate in the morning, after 2 hours I started to feel sick, after another 4 hours it became very bad, with all the consequences of poisoning. And considering that from the moment of breakfast, she hasn’t eaten or drank anything anywhere, there can be no doubt that this is after breakfast.
6. There are few sunbeds near the pools, towels for sunbeds are very short.
I do not recommend going to this hotel to people who expect at least some service from the hotel and are used to more or less normal conditions. Even a 3 star hotel could be much better
There was another unpleasant situation with the hotel Russian guide, I don’t remember the name anymore, the mobile number only remained +66627092366 It so happened that my husband and I and my sister arrived at this hotel, she had a separate room. From the first there were regular SMS from the guide, then he all hinted to come to the room, called, all these SMS were shown by my sister and calls, as a result, there were two days left before departure, my sister calls and says that someone is knocking on me hard, my husband ran there was this same guide drunk. Appealed to everyone there and to the tour operator without a helpful just works. I wrote this in order to save the girls and be careful, no matter what hotel, but we had this not a pleasant situation in this.
In my opinion, if you are going to a hotel and want the employees around you to jump and lick, the rooms to shine with cleanliness, and the breakfast was such that not one dish will be repeated during your entire vacation, then you obviously need to look for another price category. We did not live in a high-rise building, the building is new. Good environment in the room.
Yes, the staff practically does not speak Russian, although most of the guests in this hotel are our compatriots. Maybe the territory of the hotel is not cleaned perfectly, there is a separate fee for the slides, the beach is closed at eight o'clock and if you did not have time to enter the hotel from the sea side, you will have to go around.
But if you came to relax, and not look for negativity and you don’t want to overpay to be licked and you don’t come to sit stupidly in a hotel, then this hotel suits you.
For Thailand, it is very modern. Panoramic windows, beautiful view, polite staff, good table.
