We drove from the airport for more than three hours, since this hotel was the last in our group. We went to the reception: there are no places. They offered places in other buildings, but not the main one. The hour was expected. An hour later, our suitcases were still moved to the rooms (I have 9 floors). But they said that there were no rooms available.
I liked the number, a photo has already been posted here: I had this one or a similar one. Most importantly, a working fridge and kettle. There is a shower, but neither a cabin nor a bathroom is provided: you get up on the floor and wash yourself like that. The water immediately went down the drain. Naturally, the bathroom was always damp and it was impossible to dry things there. Bathrobes hung in the closet, which I did not touch, two towels were always on the shelf. The towels are not new, one of them was written with a pen RU or RW. What would that mean?
The pool at the hotel is small, a Russian girl "opened" it to me on the last day of my stay. Practically took her by the hand.
The laptop confidently caught the Jomtien network, but at the reception they told me that WI FI was not working.
The restaurant opened its doors at about 6.20. I have never seen such a poor assortment for breakfast. I took rice (if I had time, with vegetables), sliced u200bu200btomatoes and cucumbers. I never had enough cupcakes, but there were plenty of pieces of unripe pineapple. Well, there were greens too. Sometimes there was noodles, there were always small sausages and ham. On the last day, the restaurant apparently decided to give me a "compliment" from the chef: a cockroach ran up to my glass and tried to get into my "upee". You always had to get up for breakfast at the opening, otherwise the Chinese would take everything apart in a noisy crowd.
In general, a relatively normal hotel for a Thai three-ruble note. Unfortunately, the staff does not know what a left-luggage office is, there are not enough safes for everyone.
Cleaned the rooms well, did the change of linen. Only the floors were not washed under the beds even once during the whole week of my stay. They were afraid to clean up with me. Basically, guys and girls of 15-18 years old were cleaned.
In general, if you learn Chinese and do not pay attention to cockroaches in a restaurant, ants and spiders in a room, you can choose this hotel. I would recommend other hotels.
By the way, opposite the exit from the main building there is a travel agency "U Shurik". You can exchange currency there.
I did not like that you had to go to the hotel along the only street between two houses. On the second day, the faces are already familiar, everyone is inviting for massages, buying clothes. A special warm hello to the girls "Hi, Come in! Look! " They called to the clothing store.
During the day, you can easily go by tuk-tuk, but after 18:00 it's hard. Therefore, I think to take a hotel closer to the center.
P. S. I apologize to the hotel: I did not pay 100 baht for the safe. The employee did not ask anything when he handed over the key.
2. The food is tolerable, quite varied. Only the Chinese, like locusts, sweep away everything in their path, because the owner of the hotel is Chinese - hence the locust invasion))
3. The hotel is very far from the center! You can still go there without any problems, but returning to the hotel (especially in the evening or at night) is only with transfers or by taxi. With transfers even during the day, because the hotel is located on the very outskirts of the city and the tuk-tuk drops off about a kilometer before it, and either drops off or requires double payment...
4. The Egyptian hotel guide Aziz speaks Russian tolerably, but such a beast! many wanted to fill his face! He intimidated, in the conversation there was only one advertisement for tours, and for big money with a meager program, and only as soon as he found out that we were not going to take any excursions from him, he simply began to ignore us!
5. There is no own beach, 5 minutes walk to the sea, but 10-15 minutes to the beach either by tuk-tuk or on foot...
I don't recommend it at all! if possible, it is better to refuse this hotel and just do the tour operator Pegas Touristik! Completely freaked out! Last time I went with BiblioGlobus - heaven and earth! And the attitude is much better in everything and even cheaper! Good luck to all!
1. Unsatisfactory sanitary condition of the rooms: leaking pipes, the presence of various insects, the view from the windows either to a construction site or to a smelly street. The electricity was repeatedly cut off in the room, incl. and at night. The sanitary condition of the building itself is of great concern. In the event of a more or less serious accident, one can only hope for the Buddha. They provide wonderful bottled water, obviously poured in the common areas.
2. Nutrition. If you manage to get ahead of the boorish Chinese, you may get something. Food in general is 3-ku, but relatively tolerable. Not poisoned.
3. The staff and service are monstrous. Absolutely impenetrable Chinese faces of a semi-criminal persuasion, who do not care deeply about the needs of others. To this end, they pretend to be unfamiliar with any foreign languages. Although English is understood at least. There was a serious conflict with these geeks on the road. When handing over the key (plastic card), there were no complaints or questions, after 15 minutes it turned out that the key was damaged, and you had to pay 20 dollars for it. They took it and ruined it. Typical theft. I would like to understand in more detail, but alas, there was no time.
I hope that the broad masses of customers will appreciate the service of this "Hotel"
Since we had a 15 hour flight delay, we arrived at the hotel late by almost a day, at 2 am. Of the 11 who arrived from our flight, only 2 couples settled in this hotel, there were not enough rooms for 7 people. Our guide called the hotels for 30 minutes for free rooms, then 7 people loaded us into a tuk-tuk along with our luggage and sent us to the Boutique Hotel in the central part of Pattaya, promising to come back for us at 9-00 in the morning and place us in Jomtien Holiday! ! at 9-00 in the morning no one came for us, we were evicted from the Boutique, we sat at the reception and tried to get through to our guide and the hotel, after 1.5 hours the situation cleared up and a tuk tuk came for us !!!
And, fortunately, we were settled in Jomtien at about 12 noon !!! )))) There are no complaints about the rooms - everything is clean, tidy, cleaned every day and without any tips, towels were also changed daily ! ! All appliances worked - TV, air conditioning, lamps!!!
Breakfasts are quite tolerable - ordinary breakfasts in ordinary hotels 3 *))))))) Soy sausages, cheese, scrambled eggs, jams, coffee-tea, fruit!!
The staff at the reception is of course very nervous, especially one young girl)))) but we didn’t particularly contact the reception, we just took the safe.
The location of the hotel cannot be called "the end of geography")))) Ambassador - wow - the end point)))) We got to our hotel both at night and in the morning after the clubs, in the morning like a regular tuk-tuk for 10 baht, but not at night I drove a tuk-tuk 200 meters to the hotel - I turned onto another road, we walked - it didn’t bother me at all)))))
Near the hotel there are cafes and shops, and a Russian tour agency, a massage parlor - everything is at hand !!!
The sea next to the hotel is about 100 meters, but you can’t swim here - stones, we walked along the street for another 100 meters and, please, a sandy beach - you can take sun loungers and umbrellas for 50 baht or sunbathe on towels for free !! ! The water is pretty clean when compared with the central beach in Pattaya Park (were there for comparison) !! ! But the cleanest water and white sand, of course, are on Koh Lan, we went to Tim Beach every other day (we got from the hotel to the pier by tuk-tuk in 10-15 minutes) !!!
In general, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel! I have already visited Pattaya for the second time in February-March and I am still planning in early May))))))
1. Location: full of Zhoptien! No one is lucky from the city at night, or for an unrealistic price, Tooks are dropped off halfway.
2. Not picky about food, breakfast will do
3. Insects, lizards galore. . . But this is Bullshit! ! Do you want RATs in the room on the 11th floor?! ? № 1109 I woke up at night from rustling under the wall paneling, well, I thought it seemed. . . But when I saw the RAT on the table!! ! The husband did not believe it, they say he had a dream. I am at the reception in the morning, my eyes bulged so convincingly. We insisted on setting traps, and on the very first evening I got caught, and then more, and more . . And then the traps ran out!
And in the corner on the carpet on the 12th day of stay, mushrooms grew, such cute mushrooms! They continued to grow, and on the 16th day we left, breathing a sigh of relief, I was only at home able to sleep peacefully
The vacation was good, but I didn’t want to spend the night in the room at all...
Well, that's a good hotel to decide or not.
minuses:
- - NO BALCONIES, things don't dry at all!!!
- a lot of screaming Chinese
- There is a terrible smell in the dining room, I had breakfast there only 2 times, I couldn’t take it anymore.
- The pool is open, there are few places to sit, and stock up on mosquito for the evening.
- beach towels torn, with holes
- It is located very far from Walkin Street, where the main life takes place.
- Let's start with the fact that the hotel, although on the shore, the water is terribly dirty, swimming there is unrealistic, although there are those who take risks. we went to the islands, it's min 30 - 20 baht per person by tuk-tuk, to Walkin Street, there's another 30 min to the island by ferry - 150 baht, round trip. but such a trip is designed for the whole day, so we did so.
- in the evening, again by tuk-tuk to Walkin Street, no problem, but back, not a single tuk-tuk will be lucky for 20 baht, and in general you need to try to get them there, salvation is only a big company.
In general, far away, there are many problems because of this, you can live in Jamtien, but closer to the center.
pros:
- cheap
- good rooms
- clean
- we had a good shower and toilet
- if you want to take a break from civilization
- good guides from pegasus
